No, but during a driving lesson I once started moving out into the next lane on a dual carriageway (England) and my instructor had to grab the wheel and swerve back as another car had started overtaking since I checked the mirror. Travelling at nearly 70mph. Was literally a case of fractions of a second that I didn't hit it. Probably the closest I've come to death.
