Yes, when I was a child we vacationed at a lake in NH every summer, the sky over the open lake at night was amazing, you could see so much more in the nights sky than back home.

Absolutely, I think I spent the first 6 months after I got my drivers license in my car apparently Canada does not admit minors, I think half of us not having Id's may have not helped.
