but if you wont to reach the mass effect 3 multiplayer ZEN, than you should be able to apply your kung-fu to any class!

I think you can be a balanced player, even if only playing Infiltrators. Within the class, there are 11 characters (10 if you count the HFI same as HMI), which offers a variety of playstyles, ranging from Cloak>Power>Shoot to Cloak>Shoot>Power, and depending on weapon, sometimes even Cloak>Shoot>Shoot>Power *gasp* or even Cloak>Shoot>Power>Shoot *mind blown*

Some specs can even replace "Shoot" with "Melee"!

Variety is the spice of life.

Based on that, I should probably not answer, but I'll give it one more shot:

OP didn't say anything elitest (many people misunderstand what that word means,) he asked a question, based on popular perception.

So far, the answers seem to fall in line with a strong measure of common sense, and I've seen virtually none of  this "Infiltrator hate" you seem convinced is the  topic of this thread.

If you're referring to the fact that the OP's title is a leading question, that's normal. Virtually all thread titles that are questions, are leading questions. If they weren't it would be difficult to focus on a topic.

And calling what other people write "garbage" is hardly contributing to the conversation.

But i'm not looking to argue with you, if you hate what this thread is about, it makes more sense for you to stop reading it. 

What do you "think" the title states?
It could have been stated so that it wasn't the "same old infiltrator attack"
example:
Is being good with only one certain class mean you are not a well balanced player?
Why even state "means you suck"?
OP is basically stating if you only play infiltrators you suck

it is the SAME OLD ATTACK ON INFILTRATORS BY THE SAME PEOPLE!

There was not anything gained by anyone on this thread (just the infiltrator haters club striking yet again)

Oh yeah and BTW, rumor has it someone is a former MISSILE GLITCHER THAT BUILT THEIR MANIFEST BY CHEATING
so you tell me who sucks and is not a well balanced player, someone that legitmately plays an infiltrator, or someone that missile glitches to earn credits and max their manifest?

I think it means they need to branch out more. Being a good/bad player has to do with many factors besides class selection. Smart use of Rockets, ability to kite/solo waves, how to aid with tough objectives, quality communication, control of spawns/aggro... and finally ability to synergize with other players/kits. This is where the Infiltrator crutch guys really fail IMO.

I respect players who can outscore me with non-infiltrators... especially if someone outscores MY infiltrator. I can probably count on one hand who those guys are. Ashen, Bosster, HeroicMass.... I'd have to look at my friends list to come up with the others.

Not at all I think the majority of BSN'ers use sniper rifles. It's the crutch classes that is the main theme

Yeah... you and Clearly Balkan need to step up your game...

A well played Vanguard is easily the sign of a GREAT player IMO... because the great ones will get good with every class and the scrubs always avoid this class like the plague. It also shows they can handle the fast-paced, balls to the wall playstyle... it most surely means they know how to abuse the gate system, and that they have excellent situational awareness/target prioritization.

Watching ManBearPig crush PLATINUM with his off-host Drell Vanguard brings a tear to my eye... it's just so F'n beautiful.

I watched Ashen double everyone's score a couple nights ago with a Phoenix Vanguard... including mine. I was the best I've ever seen that class played.

I don't have an issue with someone like a certain class/weapon/loadout. If they like it, then that's their opinion that they're entitled to.

But that doesn't make them a good or well rounded player. It just means they're good at 1 class.

People should be able to play with a variety of classes and guns AND not focus on score. Just because you can score 200K in a game, does not mean you're a great player. It means you knew how to score 200K in a game, that's all.
