I usually play Infiltrator during PUGs because I can't rely on PUG players to be decent most of the time.

With friends, though, I'll play all sorts of classes (and Vanguard when hosting).

Uh, no? It just means you're a specialist if EVER infiltrator you play is workable to your play style. They can all play differently or they can all play the same. Out of my infiltrators, the cqc ones see the most action because it's fun to sneak up on the enemy and plant your omniblade someplace painful while not being a krogan, that doesn't mean I don't like to play long or mid field with an AR or sniper rifle on them.

And why would it matter what people think about your play style? If you're getting kicked, host your own lobbies and remake if people are gonna give you lip about how you wanna play the game.
