Does the DLC at any point specifically talk about still fighting the reaper war? I wanna pretend its a final mission

WOW. The final mass effect 3 DLC was pure fan service! Although I thought there was some rocky gameplay bits which get a bit too hectic on higher difficulties, getting to be with all the characters and friends we have come to adore from the series was just perfect. Bioware treats us to a vast array of hilarious in jokes that just made me smile for almost the entire DLC. The entire experience was a VERY meaty 6-7 hours including character interactions. Buy this DLC, I don't think any real fan will regret it.

FAN SERVICE: 9/10
GAMEPLAY:7/10
STORY:8/10

Overall awesome: over 9000

Has anyone else's download been taking forever? Despite a usually awesome connection I'm stuck at 180kb/sec on Origin...which means 8 hours :(

They talk about resting and fighting reapers but besides the fact that the citadel is in good condition nothing is stopping you really it will always be the last part I play after the end...

Yes, it is worth it.
I did not experience any bugs(xbox version)
I lived up to my expectations.
Lot of fan service. Fantastic party interaction, a good main quest. I think I just smiled for my entire playthrough

This DLC is pretty long and it's getting late where I live. I haven't finished the combat part of the DLC yet, but here are some impressions.

+ Great music. The combat music near the start is different than what we're used to, but I enjoyed it a lot.

+ Wrex

+ Some great humor

+ One particular scene with a volus

- Parts of it feel like a fanfic

- Storyline is fairly weak

+ But the execution is good

So far it's the best DLC I've played (I only skipped Omega).

With the citadel we saw bioware excel in what they do best
They created intrigue, suspense and an original character that whilst almost seems slightly generic it works very well
They strengthened bonds made throughout the series in a brilliant way
When I picked up the Lancer, I nostalgia'd hard. It made my day. Honestly
With this dlc, you will laugh, especially if you bring your romance on some of the missions
Liara was more flirty than ever xD

The character interactions make it worth it to me. The gameplay is leagues beyond Leviathan (these are some of the best levels BioWare has ever done for this series). It's like the good stuff from LotSB, but more concentrated and in greater quantities.

The story, I'm sad to say, is kind of embarrassing. There was a moment of revelation where all I could do was shake my head in resignation.

As long as you're not expecting a ground-shaking plot or for it to have any effect on the overall story, the DLC is packed with a ton of fan service and genuinely useful (you can finally set weapons and level your squad whenever you want!) and fun distractions, as well as some incredibly touching moments.

The DLC is a true masterpiece, respect to all people who were making the DLC

Is the Lancer there? YES
Power amplifier mods? YES

Gameplay- VERY FUN

The combat simulator?
AWESOME; you can even try out the collectors there (you got to unlock them first thogh)

AAAAAANNND: you have your infinite credit source there, just stay in the arena and do some farming

It isn't enough to detract from the rest of the DLC, is it? And by embarrasing, do you mean as in plain and dull, or incredibly cliché?

Haven't played Citadel, but from what I can gather from both the spoiler free and spoiler forums, most people either loved or hated it. Seems like it's the kind of DLC that if taken seriously, is awful. If you don't take it too seriously, it's awesome. Looking forward to playing it.

Agreed, this DLC is a true masterpece, a worthy conclusion of the long line of ME3 DLC

This DLC is NOT about some big conspiracies, it is more about "do a GOOD MISSION with your old buddies" (if they didn't die before the DLC)

I totally enjoyed the DLC (and am hoping for a weaponry DLC where you get the Collector stuff)

I'm certainly glad that all of the comments I'm seeing are positive, I'm definitely looking forward to this DLC tomorrow/Thursday, especially if the Miranda romance scenes are good.

Cliché like you wouldn't believe.

It's put together very well. It's just borderline campy, how it ends up playing out. Seriously, we're getting into B-grade sci-fi here.

Whether this would ruin the DLC for you (or anybody) is something I can't answer. I got my money's worth by far, silly story notwithstanding.

They've already said that the DLC does not change anything about the ending (not before, during, or after it).
