Howdy everyone

Hopefully people have started to play the Citadel DLC (PC & PS3 are still on their way at the time I write this) and want to give their opinons, pro or con, about it. Please post your thoughts on the Citadel DLC here.

If you liked it, great. Let people know why you liked it, what was cool, etc. Maybe explain the choices your Shepard made that affected the DLC (like Wrex was dead, romanced Tali, started after Tuchanka mission, etc).

If you didn't like it, I'm sorry you were disappointed. Please let people know why you didn't like it, what let you down, etc. Please don't just post "It sucked" or whatever, please try to explain why you didn't like it.

Obviously SPOILERS below. Read at your own risk.

Thanks.

Clone Shepard is a bit disappointing, but other than that the DLC looks solid based off the livestream.
^
Spoiler, btw

I'm on ps3, so I can't get it yet, but this is gonna be my first sp dlc I buy, leviathan seemed cool and omega seemed like a waste.

 I thought so far- fantastic.

Such a great focus on characterzation, so much voice acting, entirely tongue and cheek- a nice transition from a game that can sometimes seem dreery.

As well-  seeing all of the different "Casino Enterances" alone was AMAZING

Video incoming

Those Heavy units are so annoying on Insanity.

I've watched the first 40 minutes of it and I was pleasantly taken aback, so far it's very good - like a combination of LotSB, Kasumi's Stolen Memory, and Arrival. Keeps you guessing with lots of excellent squad banter, this is the first time I've felt positive emotions towards the single player for a long time now, hopefully the rest of the DLC matches the quality of the intro.

Not playin niether planning to buy it... from what I´ve seen we are dealing with final insult to consumers, cutting the core narrative for DLC is bad for bussines. If you should learn something from someone then look for CD Project and their policy.

Despite this insult, BioWare proved at least to make a good enviroment and choose good VA and music composer, but a plot overall is cheesy "kind of Holywood film with lot of happy friends shooting at bad guys"  and also as I mentioned before... it was not worth the 15 bucks neither worth for DLC, it should be in vanila. But after 4 DLCs which 3 of them are belongs to core narrative I shouldn´t be surprised anymore.

7,4 out of 10  for From Ashes
6,9 out of 10 for this DLC
6,2 out of 10 for Leviathan
5    out of 10 for Omega
4    out of 10 for EC

Overall it´s not bad as the rest of the DLCs, but it should be in vanila as the 3 out of 4 paid DLCs.

This isn't an "are you planning to buy it" thread, so sod off. A DLC is not an insult.

very good dialouge between charecters, and laugh out loud funny at points, but for 4gb's I did expect a bit more on the length of it, but it is the best DLC on ME3 maybe not quite up to the standards of Lair of The Shadow Broker but still very good indeed :)

I head on Gamestop and another forum that gamers had problem downloading the DLC. So did I. For any that were affected by this "misunderstanding".....I HAD to download my purchased 1200 ($15) DLC and then AFTER, I had to go to: Add-ons, New Releases, and there I found "Part 2 of 2". Many gamers seem to have thought the 2 part download would be seamless. It was not, but that is how I found it.

Cheers

Squadmate banter is cool.

Main story is a total joke, shows how low the writters have fallen when it comes to the story. So it pretty much come down to this, you guys focus more on the dialogue then the actual story itself. I think i can now take my leave from this series knowing its best days are long gone.

No hard feeling, good things always end.

It was good, maybe the best dlc in the trilogy, but again no relevancy to the story. It just is there, not affecting the outcome.

Very disappointed, was hoping for a decent villain.

But this is Mass effect 3, so no surprise.

You're not discussing what you've seen either; you're just here to troll.

This is my last post on BSN. I loved the saga for years, I support the indoctrination theory, and my Shepard is waking up in London with the reapers out there, leaving me in a cliffhanger nightmare I can never wake up from, this is my punishment for trusting Bioware writers and getting engaged in this story.

Citadel DLC is a stinky cheesy TV episode of normady : high school days, an obvious post ending victory DLC shoved up in the middle of the game with one liners and references that took that side of me that admired the sophistication and touch Bioware was known about in their stories and broke it down to dust. Im talking now to any of the genius and fabulous writers from ME1 and ME2, the ones that built this beautiful world : Why you let this happen, why you let them kill mass effect with non-sense. Was it arrogance ? so unfortunate.

In this DLC they took my beloved comander shepard and turned her into a partying ******, who doesnt care about the ongoing reaper war or the reapers, a shamelest fanservice fest with Shepard and crew taking part on a script more worthy of charlies angels. Talking about an impostor shepard.

Time to leave ME behind, the awkening never arrived, the nonsense prevails, and Bioware have new "improved" fans with less demanding quality.

Good luck bioware, you are going to need it.

Did not like the whole clone deal, sounds a little generic.. but got to accept to action was relly good. The other half of the DLC was great! The party banters were funny as hell, good job in that department guys!

Tough got a little problem with the arena... for some reason i can't play it

never mind. Just had to re start the console again.
