Just wish it had been at the end so I could have left with a pleasant taste in my mouth.

Fun fact: Grunt and Wrex can fight together with you in the arena. IT IS GLORIOUS.

Extremely disappointed in the lack of Legion, though. What has he done to deserve this?

Agree with this a million times over. My most memorable, enjoyable parts of any of the ME games have been particular scenes or character interactions/arcs, rather than the main plot or any subplots. Honestly, I hope for the next ME game that Bioware go for a really straightforward story (obviously there can be bits that branch etc., but there's no need to come up with a dozen subplots and threads as ultimately it just gets too hard to tie them all up adequately) and just focus on delivering extremely high quality characters like we all know they can.
Damn true this! Do the characters, not the god damn action.

Was Kasumi even in it? I somehow missed her on my main Shep! Even if I did save her.

From a personal standpoint, it's like torture. Rather then letting the game lie and being done with it - because it was painful enough the first time - I came crawling back and all the things that made me the happiest about the game were there, taunting me, which only compounded the horrible, 'gutted like a fish' feeling I got from the end result the first time.
But here's a list for your amusement.
Pros:
-Wrex in my party! My favorite character of the whole series. I was thrilled to have him back, brief though it was.
-The DLC highlights the greatest aspect of the Mass Effect series, for my experience, and that's the characters. Which, it's basically designed to do. I enjoyed most parts pertaining to party banter and seeing everyone together in one setting, cheesy though some of it was.
-The GarrusLI dance scene I thought was charming, and still fit in with the surrounding game. I really enjoyed it, in part because it was so unexpected.
-Beautiful visuals as always
-Wrex in my party! Moving on...
Cons:
-The clone thing is absurd, from her existence in the first place to the way she "dies", when Shepard appears to survive just about anything. It doesn't attempt to make the clone a person so it feels more like a random plot device than a well thought out idea. With something like this I feel like I'm not being taken seriously.
Plus the idea of throwing her in the synthesis or control option at the end was so tempting. It almost felt like someone was dangling a carrot in front of me...
-While everyone fighting together and sharing party banter is cool, and I liked the concept, I couldn't understand most of what was being said because everyone was talking at once.
-The fighting portion of the DLC was more irritating than it was enjoyable to me, for some reason. I can't put a finger on it, but something was just off. Might just ben that I haven't played campaign in a while though.
-When played seperately from the rest of the game, as I did, it's exciting because everything is new and unexpected so I was enjoying being able to relieve my favorite people, but ultimately if you try and insert it into the rest of the game it's extremely out of place. It's almost surreal and while I'm a firm beleiver in having fun and letting loose now and then, it doesn't take itself seriously at all, which makes it unfeasible within the context of the Universe as it is at that time.
-Back to that whole 'gutted like a fish' feeling being compounded by this deceptively happy reunion. While the destroy option certainly allows for a "happy" ending for Shepard, trying to explain to Joker why I had to kill EDI to do it is not on the top of my list of "happy" theoretical moments.
Basically what I got from this was "We know your mad, so here's a bunch of senseless fanservice to make you happy and forget about what really happened."
It was really nice fanservice to be fair, but I don't like being served shameless fluff just for the sake of shameless fluff. I like my stuff to stay at least somewhat grounded in reality so it feels like it's part of the whole. But that's just me.

The humor is back which is good.
The storytelling is back which is good.
The story was a good start to what could of been promising story.
Considering it said than all previous squad mates were coming back that did not deliver because only Wrex came back no others did (the combat arena doesn't count)
I don't get what the story has to do with the Citadel other than being set on the station. To me it more about the dark side of Creberus then than the Citadel.
but the whole party thing just doesn't do anything for me. For me the party would have served better as an ending to the game rather than the three Reaper ending and the "Do Nothing" ending.
For the price and size of the DLC I would have expected a lot more to do other than One Mission, One party, Mass Effect 1s Flux and Pinnacle Station.
For me it left a lot of unanswered questions like:
- Who or what is Brooks?
- What was "Evil" Shepard looking for?
- Where was "Evil" Shepard going?
- What else was Creberus doing with Shepard?
- Are there more "Evil" Shepards out there?
This DLC could of explored to the dark dark side to Cerberus, but for some reason it was cut off just when things where getting interesting.
The DLC STILL didn't answer any of the plot holes questions of Mass Effect 3, so I guess until that is done the Mass Effect 3 DLC has to keep coming.

However, the other content in the DLC is just too good to pass up.
So even though I always hate the idea of an evil clone...I will still be getting the DLC.

I've played it twice so far and spent hours playing, and there's still much to do. The only thing that I didn't like was the evil Shepard clone. It was just so weird, unexpected and didn't fit to the story at all. Also, I liked Brooks as a character a lot, so I was disappointed when she turned out to be evil.
Things that I loved: Wrex, beautiful environments, music, humor (I laughed so many times), character interaction, party, LI scene, Silversun Strip and the combat simulator. The DLC is emotional and funny at the same time. The possibility to invite many characters for a talk or go meet them was just wonderful. Absolutely great fanservice. Knowing that this was the last DLC makes me a very sad Mass Effect fan. Sad but content.
Thank you

Also Grunt inexplicably turning green had me laughing for five minutes.

The humor and inside jokes were great. The whole tone felt a lot more lighthearted and sentimental.
Played through as a paragon who kept everyone alive. Now can't wait to play through as my renegade with a few members lost and see what's different.

Well I'm going to preface by saying that I haven't bought it but watched it on YouTube.
A year later I can't believe Mass Effect could make me feel depressed again, but it did. Had the game not ended so horrifically, had this taken place after the finale and been an actual goodbye to the characters and Shepard, I would have bought it instantly and loved it completely. I mean the final scene at the Normandy alone was like a punch in the gut.
But as it stands I'm just more depressed at how pointless it is, how it all seems so wrong set in the middle, and how it all still funnels into the same gut wrenching spiral. Nothings changed.
This could have been an epic final farewell to the characters and series I'd come to love, but sadly I'm left with an exercise in futility.

I should note that my femshep did not appreciate the NPCs referring to her as a male shep when she was filming the movie with Jivak. You should probably look into that and patch it.
I should also note it was extremely difficult not to insult the immense amount of drama queens that seem to be plaguing this thread. Shame you can't "patch" them... but the thought is sure nice, eh?
