Absolutely hilarious, and very touching.
Love the Armax arena. Really wish we could save Morinth, though, from her Banshee fate (she was actually one of my favorite squadmates for my Paragon Shep... yeah, I know many would think that's an odd combo).
Loved the character interaction (especially all the humor) and am looking forward to playing through it a third time, sometime soon. The clone plot may have been a bit hoakey, but it worked, primarily because of the character interactions in the face of it. Also really nice to see some slight variations, dependent on your class.
As for the second act of the DLC - I loved a lot of the character scenes (though they were very short in some cases) Though, I'm not sure how I feel about the ones that have you play arcade games. It felt very... I don't know... redundant, maybe, to play Shepard playing a videogame.
The LI scenes, though, were fantastic. (Admittedly, I teared up during the scene with Miranda and Shep gambling, and Miranda saying that the odds were against them. That moment was so simple, and so beautiful. And the Renegade choices in the LI Traynor scenes made me chuckle)
Also, despite there being loads of autodialogue, much of it was vague enough to work with both of my Shepards (who I play completely opposite to one another) Which was a pleasant surprise, since I'm normally not a fan of autodialogue.
Oh, and I almost forgot - the visuals in the Silversun strip are amazing. Really missed the whole "Bladerunne"-esque look from ME2. Everything in vanilla ME3 looks very cold, metallic, and reminds me of modern day military for some reason. This DLC had the futuristic feel that ME2 had in spades.
Man there are several things that I didn't see there, and Miranda was my LI the first time I played this, I'm definitely going to have to go back for more!

I haven't gotten a chance to do any of the party stuff or interact with other crew members from the Normandy, but I'm very excited to see whatever Traynor has in store for me.

Maybe I can play through it again and actually hear the dialog because I had to be so intent on running full speed through mercs that I had no chance to listen to (or read) the dialog going on around me. I'd hate to have to drop below insanity level to do so though.

I liked it a very great deal. The Citadel DLC's storyline was a bit silly, but I think that was all part of the point. The story was fun, which I think was great. The writing was pretty spot on.

I don't think I've done as much cussing before in the game as I was doing in the hanger bay fight (insanity). Almost made me hoarse until I finally picked up on the "trick" (for an infiltrator) and was finally able to whittle the bad guys away. Until that point I was ready to punch a hole in my wall. First part of the Mass Effect series where insanity actually lived up to the name.

Pro: I feel the humor very much was its best feature. The banter of the Citadel DLC eclipses all of ME3 and its other DLC.
It's replayable, more so than the rest of ME3.
Citadel Archives were beautiful.
Running into Clone Shep was a genuine "HOLY TOLEDO!!!" moment.
The quality level seems high.
Con: The banter eclipsed all of ME3 so much that it may disturb the experience of the more serious player.
The archives contained a model, the AI droids, which raises a question: That droid design was supposed to be new at the time Shep awakens in ME2.
The presence of Clone Shep creates another set of questions that are never answered: Why did they clone an entire person and not just specific organs? How many Sheps are there now?!!

Music (thanks for the soundtrack download!)
Focuses on the characters we already love
Incredibly, wonderfully referential and cheesy; my husband keeps randomly chuckling and when I ask him what's up, he just says "Grunt"
Feels like a proper goodbye
Mehs:
Recycled plot that makes Shepard look really dense; after Vasir, she shouldn't immediately trust some chick's claims; the flippant attitude keeps it from being a negative though
Entertaining conversations...that require no input from the player
Negatives:
Interaction points could be clearer; I've played the DLC twice and still haven't gotten Wrex's bar scene
Shepard/Vega flirty scenes feel very creepy
Also wanted to say: Devs, I'm more than happy to throw money at y'all when you give me more content for the main game NPCs. I loved Citadel, Lair of the Shadow Broker, Stolen Memory, and Legacy. I skipped Omega and Mark of the Assassin because they focus on different characters that I can't take along in the main game.

Grunt...hilarious, though I think there MAY be a video glitch: when he tosses the bottle of ryncol the screen goes black for long enough that I THINK there should have probably been more there to see. No see nothin'.
The conversations were entertaining but this is my BIG complaint about ME3 in general (other than the end): too much autodialog. Too much passive observer of YOUR Shepard going off on his own. How about the clever and funny convos WITH some real input from the dialog wheel?
As for Shepard and Vega...I don't do female Shepard so I don't see that BUT...if you are going Ashley for LI the flirty scenes at the party between Vega and Ash are disturbing. I wanted my Shepard to say something along the lines of "Ash! I'm right here! Sheesh." This is made worse by the dialog wheel option to "encourage a hookup". WTF? Oh yeah, here's the woman my Shep has romanced since ME1 and he's going to encourage her to hookup with the meat puppet in a party? Oh I don't THINK so.
Vega was funny with his "look at these guns" silliness. Kept pushing it to the point of funny.

BioWare, I lOVED Citadel. I really, really did. Some people have raised valid points, like fighting the Reapers would be a better send off to the series, or that it’s odd for Sheppard to throw a party while the galaxy burns. But I felt that while these might be points that could be discussed, they are by no means deal breakers. In particular, since the Normandy is in dry-dock getting repairs, I’m fine which Shep and crew trying to get some much needed R&R while they wait.
I cannot list all the stuff I liked, so I’ll just describe generally what I thought was good in each part of the DLC.
Some have singled out the “Evil Clone” as a particular point they did not like. I thought it was brilliant. Clichés are not bad tropes, they are tropes that get over-used and are used badly. In this case I thought an evil clone was perfect: Mass Effect is a series that (originally) focused on decisions and how they affect relationships, character, and outcomes. The evil clone (or, in its classical form, the evil twin) is the archetypal example of Nurture vs. Nature. Mass Effect, as a series, highlights the nurture, while acknowledging the nature: Cloneshep is as good a fighter as my Shep one on one (give or take difficulty and game balancing), but without a team, without the same character, and having made such different choices, he will lose every time. In my play through the point was poignantly, if unsubtly, made by my friends rushing to aid me, while cloneshep was abandoned by a disloyal acquaintance. Side note, I called Brook’s double agent status while I was still eating my sushi. Was the story a little cheesy? Yeah, but it was totally worth it; my decisions, at least conceptually if not in game play, meant something.
I also sort of got to do something I've always wanted to do: bring my entire squad along with me. It never made sense why I’d leave so much firepower behind, and while I would have preferred to bring everyone with me on something more important (I have all kinds of ideas, like everyone else, for how Priority: Earth and the ending could be improved). Having them offer fire support, and witty banter, was almost all I could have asked for. Now if I could have just directed their power usage. Naming the groups Mako and Hammerhead was a great touch, but I wish I could have picked who went with who.
The Silversun Strip was fantastic. Varied locations, minigames to play, and the Armax Arena in particular was awesome. I got to hang out with my friends some more, even if the interactions were a little quirky and railroaded. I agree with other that there should have been more conversation choices in the DLC, I don’t remember seeing a single “investigate” or similar option the whole way through. But given that most of this is reminiscing, not making choices likely to affect everything, I’m at least content with them as they are. Ambient dialog is entertaining; now I know what Francis Kitt looks like, and I want to see his portrayal and Macbeth. In the arena, I quickly played through everything I could (I made a meta game for myself to see how many requests I could do in a single round), doing all the requested scenarios, and unlocking everything. As with much of the DLC, my only improvement for SilverSun would be more of the same.
I also loved the increased character interaction leading up to, and during the party. I did miss the old dialogue wheel, but the fact that I could keep a group talking for a while, and that eventually the groups would be rearranged, mostly made up for it. I’m curious to see how, in future play-throughs, upping or mellowing the music might affect things. I didn’t originally get that I had to invite certain people over individually, before the party, to talk to them, so I missed things like my conversation with Liara (my LI). Due to the point I was at in my play through Kasumi, Tali and Miranda didn't show up, so next time I will make sure I throw the party when they can attend. I was a little surprised that Gabby, Ken, and Adams didn’t attend. I didn’t miss Kelly because I haven’t seen here anywhere in any of my play-throughs, so even though she survived, I think for some reason she just isn’t showing up, I guess I wasn’t friendly enough. But apparently other people can’t invite her either, so that seems like a missed opportunity. I also missed drinking with Dr. Chokwas, but her absence was at least addressed.
I had also hoped that the DLC might do more to acknowledge my LI, since I’ve been faithful since ME1. Liara was much more flirty in general, but I was hopeful that maybe I would have the option to invite Liara to move into the apartment with me, and that whenever I was there we could spend a little shore leave with each other, maybe talk about kids, plans for the future, even if I know they can’t come true (once I saw there was a Jacuzzi, I was really hoping we could spend some time in it relaxing together, oh well). The apartment customizing options were nice, but somewhat limited, I was hoping other stores would have more chairs, shelves, bedding, wall paint, lights, or even pets, particularly now that I have unlimited income from the Arena.
I was also a little disappointed at the lack of reference for those absent. At the very least Thane, Mordin, and Kaiden (or Ashley, but she’s alive for me) should have been mentioned. A good toast by Sheppard would have been better. Adding in Pressley, Jenkins, the rest of the deceased SR1 crew and anyone who was lost at the end of ME2 would have been best. There was at least a great note from Mordin. But still, I wish someone could have mentioned missing him before. The in jokes and previous game references were great, but there are loose threads that I which could have been included or tied up. Just as one example, I think Gianna Parrassini could have been worked in quite well, say at the bar, she owes me a drink.
The final scene, as we all gaze fondly at the Normandy before getting back on, was beautifully bittersweet. Liara’s comments about this being the “last party” felt like the Mass Effect team was saying goodbye to me, and thanking me for all the great time we’ve spent “together.” This felt, in many ways, like more of an ending than the actual conclusion of the game. I have spent literally hundreds of hours playing in the Mass Effect universe as *my* Commander Sheppard(s); it is still, despite the ending, one of my favorite series of all time. It has, one the whole been a great ride. Put the thought and care into your next project that you put into the Citadel, and I will gladly purchase it.
In summary: I laughed, I cried, it moved me. I want to give a sincere thank you to the writers, the programmers, the artists, the testers, and everyone else who made the Mass Effect series. Imperfect though it might be, I treasure it, and the thought that it has come to an end leaves me feeling a little hollow inside, like I’ve lost a friend.
Sincerely,
The Fan in Blue

I'm with you with virtually everything you said. But...wait, I didn't invite any individuals over and went right to "invite everyone" because I thought it was a once-and-done thing and if I simply asked one person over, boom, done. Now I get from your post that I COULD ask individuals over and have a totally different conversation/interaction and STILL go with the big party afterwards? Crap. Do over...and based on my first run, that means a LOT more cussing and a hoarse voice when it is done (insanity level and cloaking that is ineffective for the 1st half of the DLC = LOTS of dying and attendant cussing to say nothing of the LONG bought of whittling away at bad guys in the hanger bay).

First playthrough review Male Shep
Positives
Clone shep very interesting. Here on the bsn they'd proposed it before and I thought I'd hate a clone shep precisely because it would be a clone but this clone was a badass to my para I can't say if he was worse then a ren if I was to play ren cuz I don't so with para shep the ren clone shep worked well.
When I heard his voice at for a few seconds I didn't register the fact it was Meer's voice then I was like...wait a minute....that voice...then when I say my custom shep mirrored with evil shep that was shocking I'm like...wait...what?...you're me?....huh? it was weird to see my custom shep with a cooler dressed version of course I threatened and killed him later my para shep wasn't putting up with an evil doppelganger.
I liked the new outfits clone shep wore especially the tan armor before he switches to the N7. I want that suit especially for fshep it looked even better on her!
The apartment was another thing posted on bsn I went in for it proposed alot of what I wanted to see and I can see where BW listened on this and were they didn't we had proposed so many things the TV having news made it in however it was only face of steel reporter with Anderson I wish it would've been varied like the news in ME and with pictures not just a blue screen or the Dues Ex boring show girl's photo while she's talking I wanted to watch real news that would change over the game. Everytime my squad mates said hey you made the news I'd go check my TV to see the news and nothing so I didn't like that at all I wanted to hear about the attacks.
BW listened to the furniture suggestion players wanted to change their apartment decor however we wanted alot more then what was offered but it was nice to see it in practice.
Clone shep's side kick girl (forgot her name Bray, Bre?) Anyway she was well played first time through I didn't catch any of her suggestions as off I decided she was not brain child like Traynor but she was the civilian with the safety concerns so we mine as well make her at ease and fallow her suggestions. It was surprising to see her at the end she was well written well acted and I was disappointed that we didn't get more to the DLC in that after we were off shore leave for 2 - 4 missions we'd get a call back to the Citadel by Bailey to be informed that she escaped para shep's playthorugh and we'd have to rehunt her down. I wanted to take this character down more then para shep could legally do. She did try to goad shep into killing her on ship and I'm glad he didn't do it but I still wanted to kick her ass.
Party that was a neat add not cheesy like the trailer implied. It was different hosting a party, picking the mood, I started light then went energetic and got to watch them all go crazy.
No improperly dressed crew mates though Miranda died in my playthrough so I'll have to wait till I've played my Fshep to comment on this cuz she lives in that one. But everyone else was fine.
After DLC meet ups I got to set Garrus up on a date which was nice but I wanted to spend more time with my bro then just 5 seconds. Tali singing was a different thing I didn't know she could sing and she came across as an anime cosplayer right then which probably was the intent I can't say I found it nice, creepy, or romantic though it just was....which is the oddest thing ever to have with Tali usually you can say she's being cute right now like with talking to you on Rannoch or during the geth mission other times you can say she's being creepy like the I want to feel your skin on mine comment while she's ontop of you while Ken and Gabby are in the room....This cosplayer moment is in a new category and that new category is undefined.
Shep had solo moments I liked this however shep was weak physically as in the game was made that way he wasn't weak in the way that he was injured and script made him that way due to injury. The shield lasted less then it normally does your health shoots down faster then it normally does ingame you could say that's due to the suit however the suit has nothing to do with the longevity of the shields. I like weak human shep being shown just not the game making my shields deplete faster then they should to make it feel like shep is weaker.
I got rescued by my LI which was cute however their nice outfit comment was weird because I showed up in the usual outfits they'd seen all the time before I wish shep was wearing a truly unique outfit the comment was cute, appreciated, but because shep shows up in the same outfit they wore on ship everyday like the captains uniform it was a little off.
I felt very supported by my friends everyone had a reason to be there that was sound Wrex didn't race over from Tuchanka he was in the area on business anyway though I don't know how he found out I was in trouble?....anyway that was done well.
The strip was interesting it had way more npc's then usual and all the lights made it very colorful but considering no one moves around like they do in the CG cut scenes it still feels hollow.
The apartment was nice Anderson giving it up however I felt bad that he would again do this. He gave me his ship, he nearly gave me his life back in ME to free the ship, and now he's giving me his apartment that he and his GF chose to settle down in when does he stop giving me stuff? Why couldn't Hackett buy it for me for all my work? Or a charity gave it to me cuz of all my hard work? Or the council gift it to me as an I'm sorry? Really Anderson is being abused here.
Tali looks good in black and white however again Mshep fails to say such things to her. He doesn't say he loves her and he won't comment when she looks nice I'm starting to wonder if he likes her for herself here.
I like the emails and invites I just wish this would continue if you go back to your apartment after the DLC is over because if you're at your home we can assume you've placed the ship on shore leave for a while so the selective people should want to do things while you're there and once you leave the citadel their offers expire however you can leave the strip and go to the normal citadel and their offers will stay active they should also invite you to places on the normal citadel and open up brand new revistable areas of the citadel too.
Nice music
Thane tried to contact you. I thought this was a great thing and also sad but not sad in the way that I'm watching a dead crew mate but sad in the fact HE'S THE ONLY ONE! Seriously the only one with proof that he was trying to contact me my LI, Garrus, Liara, no one tried to contact me in jail save Thane and that's sad.
Biotic Shep is biotic in cutscenes! At least when fight herself I noticed my soilder male blocked with an omni blade but biotic shep blocked bioticlly!
Negative
The party suggestion right after clone shep's death was bad timing I mean I just killed myself and Joker wants a party....yeah....
No conversation wheel for the party. I really wanted to interact with everyone during the party but again I'm side lined with auto dialoged! I do not like the auto crap when I'm suppose to be intimate with my crew, friends, boss, LI, ect I hate it!
The whole traynor battle royal moment was another anime pull I noticed the eye bars and sound effects reminded me of anime, old westerns, and comedies while it was silly it was also out of place.
I couldn't use the hot tub. Really I wanted to get in it by myself if Tali couldn't join me and I couldn't.
Tali ate non dextro cheese and Mshep wasn't freaking out even though she was. Really your GF may've poisoned herself but you'll hangout listen to traynor describing her EDI porn while she could be dead of shock with in the next few moments...really didn't like that.
Didn't like having to be forced to listen to Traynor and EDI's porn fantasies.
Vega showing off...I could sympathize with Liara I wanted to toss him off the balcony too really he was annoying and I thought he was the worse till Traynor and EDI started going.
No one cared about Shep during and after his clone. We got jokes and pokes at shep for having one but no one was worried about the real shep's view on his clone or killing him I would've expected his LI, Liara, Garrus, and shep himself to at least give a crap here. Again dropped the ball on character development for this group. We also could've dredged up the LP again as the clone did allud to it once more Shep has yet to recive any help on the matter and troubled shep's still don't get it here in this DLC. Not only are troubled sheps re-slapped with the reminder of there deaths which they have yet to deal with properly they get a new hit with a clone who hates them because they exist and that this clone was made from them w/o their consent.
The LP should've been revisited was clone shep the one whom Miranda experimented on during the different stages to ensure real shep would be fine with whatever they were doing aka a Jack 2.0? Were there more clones made and were they killed off or destroyed by whatever tech was being used to bring back real shep aka children of Jack's mission 2.0?
Fshep still has that awful dress from Kasumi's mission why could't I go shopping for a proper dress? I hate that darn thing! Also Mshep's black tie outfit is weird why didn't he show up in TIM's outfit or in a suit and tie? Really I thought that was odd to I was expecting him and all other humans to be dressed in an actual suit and tie the aliens can do what they want.
The archives were too short on vids and had no audio and I kept getting shot at once I cleared the room and went to engage the vids people would randomly respawn and try to kill me when I wanted to listen to the videos. I think we should've had audio logs too that were more detailed. We also had no logs or vids on the protheans, the visions, our crew, Saren himself, Saren's crew, Illos info they've uncovered, hidden Asari info on the Thessian beacon and what advancements they got out of it, Alliance blackops, Cerberus blackops, the list could go on and on and with your spector access you should've been able to get all that and more info. It was nice however we got one about shep being considered for spector hood but nothing over the 6 months he was confined on Earth what where they doing, who where they talking to, ect.
No sex scenes again fade to black and implied annoying.
Tali's face again not being shown.
Why couldn't I invite my LI to live with me? I wanted more time with my LI Liara spent more time in my home then my LI did she stayed after her CG moment my LI didn't I thought that was odd.
BW is afraid to show drinking again which is annoying I hate the movie camera angles and always empty glasses.
Fshep doesn't whisper she yells at the party Mshep is quite whispering around the cameras and guards fshep doesn't care and screams her intentions for all to hear! What!?

Pros;
talkin! - at last! a piece of content where dialogues are sth significant!
citadel - i felt it was nerfed in main game...
humor - even cheesy moments were sth refreshing
cons;
- vanilla game lacked many aspects this dlc delivered - and it recall all of them
- autodialogues; it is sth awfull - it is good for fps mode (where ppl wanna shoot and "do not waste their time for reading or thinking"), but no story/rpg mode
Citadel is very nostalgic; I cannot understand how you could not deliver such emotion in the original ending - in my another playthrough this dlc will be the last journey; not events after cerberus hq...

What I liked about the DLC was that we got to meet Shepard-the hero/ine that we all grew to love-and spend four or more hours with him/her and his courageous squadmates that, along with Shepard, were embodiements of our love for the series. The fan-service was a much needed aspect of Mass Effect that was necessary in order to finally say goodbye to Shepard and motly crew. Even though it was outside of the theme of ME3-i.e there is a war going on-it was a pleasure to experience because of the great writing and characterization of the people we all grew to love. Shepard goes on shore leave all the time, but this was the FINAL shore leave that the Normandy spent together. From Garrus' tango, to Liara playing Vigil on the piano, and the memorable party; it was something that I feel that all Mass Effect fans, whether hardcore or not, should experience. My favorite line from the DLC was, "I should go" from Shepard, and the greatest moment was when our love interest did their version of, 'It's been a good ride' which had me crying because I knew that they wouldn't reunite in the end of the game due to the ambiguity, even with destroy selected with high enough EMS. Also, props to all of the musicians: Cris Velasco, Sascha Dikiciyan, and Sam Hulik for all of their hard work to provide the musical atmosphere of the DLC. I downloaded the FREE sountrack, and the music is phenomenal and very engrossing to the theme of the DLC, especially Hulicks, Farewell and Into the Inevitable, which made it seem like someone was cutting onions in the room *laughs*. In addtion, thank you all voice actors for portraying our beloved hero/ines. Thank you Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale for providing the voice of Commander Shepard.
Now, what I didn't like about the DLC was how some of the conversations weren't as thematic as the cutscenes in ME1. I really missed how we got a dialogue wheel in almost every conversation, instead of the auto dialogue that was introduced in ME2, with extreme prevalence in the succeeding game. I also did not like the way that Brook's was animated when we were intially introduced to her in the sushi bar. In addition, I kinda wish that Shepard was portrayed as being a little bit emotional (like crying or something, instead of being stoic all the time) because it is THE END in terms of his story. Everything else about the DLC was spot on in terms of Easter eggs and the humor (I loved all the multiplayer quips). Now, separate from the DLC, my GREATEST concern was how it did not expand upon the ending, specifically the destroy ending where Shepard supposably lives. The end of the DLC was so sad because it foreshadowed the inevitable end that Shepard was not going to make it, and that the love interest would lose Shepard again just like in ME2. I kind of thought it was a slap in the face when Jack hinted about Shepard's ending if she was romanced. Anyways, as was stated earlier, EA does not plan on changing the ending any further and this is the END in terms of DLC content for the trilogy, which means the game will forever stay as it is. All good things must come to an end, but I don't want to let go of Shepard just yet; especially with the bittersweet ending of the DLC. *curse you onions!*
Overall, I loved the DLC. It reminded me of why I love this franchise and also why I became so engrossed into the universe. Thank you Bioware for this love letter, and thank you EA for publishing the final two games. As Shepard's last words stated, it was indeed "the best..." (love you Kaidan...)
Love, your ordinary fan.

the humor was fantastic not laught that much in a long time the mission/story was cool but a bit short but thats fine I don't think that's what the DLC was rely about was it? meeting up with the crew was both individually and at the part was truly wonderful. ME3 needed more of the light hearten moments and that is what this DLC gave us.
I only realy have a few small issues
1 the DLC felt more like an epilogue that was put in the wrong place. That's not a bad thing it's just how it made me feel.
2 It would of been grate if we could of played as the epilogue that it felt like (post ending)
3 I would of liked a way to save the group photo as a Jpeg or something and use it as a desktop.

I just got playing ME3 four days ago for the first time. Because of how it rocked my world when it was all over I actually blog now. I have never blogged before in my life and because of this game, here I am. I am in need of expressing my feelings over a video game. What?
Anyway, I waited to play ME3 a little bit because of all of the hoopla about the ending that came out shortly after the launch of ME3. I loved the first two games so I was cautious. When I played ME3 the first time, DLC Citadel and Extended cut was already out so my first time playing it was the "fixed" version. I knew that the ending was coming and it would do something to me that I may not like. I also managed to stay away from all of the spoilers before I got to the end.
That being said, I loved the Citadel DLC while playing it but it also just reinforced that this grand adventure that I was on was about to end and end in a way that would leave a hole in myself. The mission to find out who was trying to kill Shepard was filled with some crowd pleasers. The humor was tongue-in -cheek and I loved the inside jokes. It was as if I could spend just one more day with my brothers and sisters in arms, my family, before we went "once more into the breach." I also could feel the sense of dread sneak up the back of my neck that we were going to have to go back to work and face our deaths one more time. One last time.
Inviting friends up to the apartment was poignant. Thane’s memorial service was deeply sad. Watching a movie with Tali was like watching a movie with my baby sister that I wish I had, a baby sister that I would protect with my life. The other scene with the girl who stole my heart with her quiet strength, loyalty, humility, true beauty, and voice that I could listen to for the rest of my life, was very well done. That scene was Liara playing the piano and spending that deeply touching moment with Shepard. It was worthy. That scene was another scene that made the end of our grand adventure all the harder to take.
The party was fun. We turned it up and partied like it was 1999. The interactions were lighthearted and amusing. I remember how one group of the saviors-of-the-galaxy was talking about the Normandy and Liara speaking how she was in love with its Commander. I remember dancing one more time like a goof while everybody made fun of Shepard. Really Garrus? You should talk. Nice stripper table dance Jack.
The group picture was a perfect ending to the party. I planted Shepard in front of that picture many times and I tried to burn that image into my brain knowing that it would be the last time, the only time we would be together. The end was coming and it was going to hurt. When my Shepard woke up and a blue skinned angel woke up beside him, it brought me back to when I first fell in love with my real life wife. We use to be young and we had some good, fun, and irresponsible times. Times when we woke up and had to take some time to remember what the hell happened the night before. Nicely done Bioware, nicely done.
Finally, the last shot when the crew took one last look at the Normandy. Wow. Liara holding Shepard’s hand and leaning her head on his shoulder. It’s been quite a ride indeed.
I played the Citadel DLC on one day and finished the game the next. We all know what happened. I picked Synthesis because of Legion and EDI. I picked Synthesis despite that my real life personal spiritual belief system does not believe that a synthetic creature, even with the best unshackled AI imaginable, can have a soul. I picked Synthesis because of loyalty to an idea. The idea that we should do what we believe in our hearts is right even though everything else may say different. I knew that would cause Liara 900 more years of mourning but Shepard had to do the most good for the most people. The last scenes when he dives into the beam, the flashbacks, the slide show, and the memorial wall left me speechless. Liara’s beautiful face marred with grief put a hole in my chest that I have not completely recovered from yet. The hug she gave EDI and EDI’s final words “Because of him. I am alive, I am not alone.” took some of the pain away, but just a little. Writing about it, as weird as this is to me, is helping me with the rest.

It was really fun to listen to the dialog between shep and his/her crewmates. Grunts side story was freaking hilarious, I'm still laughing about it now
I was actually sad that Brooks (I call her Mirage) was all evil and wound up locked up or shot
Cloneshep I thought fit well in the MEU since the real shep was brought back to life. I would've liked to have seen a little more about the cell that brought him/her into the fold.
My only real issue is that some of sheps crewmates don't appear during the chase the identity thief parts at all. Characters I know that survived from my ME2 playthroughs like Samara, Kasumi, Jacob and Zaeed didn't show up at all until it came to PARTY TIME!!!! Whats up with that?
I'm glad I bought this dlc and yet I'm really sad that its the end for Sheps story and all his/her crew. Nice work BW and thanks for the work and effort, I think it payed off.
Add-on: Just ran it a third time and I love how Kasumi stalks Jacob around the apartment and sifts through Sheps underwear drawer.

I wish someone would write all the dialog on the net.
Does anyone know how the game chooses your 8 squaddies?
the only ones who are dead are: except for morden, legion, samara and thane.
I have read that poeple have gotten other squaddies.

At first I didn't think I was going to spend much time on the strip because minigames do not interest me as much, but after trying out the Armax Arena once, I got hooked. Its great to be able to unlock and use all your old squadmates from ME2. That is an amazing addition to the DLC, and I feel its bigger than expected.
The only complaint I have with the new DLC is instead of all the issues and glitches that are seen throughout the entire game getting fixed (or some of them,) it seems that the DLC had to be adapted to them to keep the experience "authentic."
Great job on this one BioWare. The Citadel DLC makes me forget how mediocre the Omega DLC and short the Leviathan DLC was. I think the Citadel DLC provides a lot of content while giving ME3 more of an ending to the entire series.

The social stuff was fantastic and provided a fitting ending to our experiences with Shepard. Having the extra audio logs from Mordin and Anderson and the video messages from Thane were unexpected bonuses. All in all, I laughed and I cried and thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Arena was a fun little extra that provided some interesting challenges (Clonefight and Collectors especially) and also provided some of that classic email comedy that we've seen in the past from ME games (especially when you break the scoreboard). Can't say the other minigames appealed to me that much, but it's minor really.
Really the only things I disliked were minor quibbles, such as my Clone actually getting to keep his Wraith in cutscenes (same weapon my VG uses) while I suddenly do the classic ME cutscene downgrade to a weapon I'd never use (As I said, minor). I also felt kinda sorry for Chakwas and Adams not getting an invite but really I didn't miss them. My other quibbles are so minor I have forgotten about them already. *shrug*
I suppose the biggest downside was I really didn't want to continue playing after doing the return to the Normandy scene. In some regard that's a compliment to the DLC, but it's also partially due to not liking the ending (though it has improved) and partially the drawback of the DLC model of games in general (You've already played the ending so many times by the time the final DLC comes out you just don't care about the actual game ending anymore, which is in my opinion why all games should have a final DLC that is post ending if possible).
Anyway, overall my verdict is that this is actually my favourite ME DLC. So well done Bioware.
EDIT: Oh yeah this was played just before the attack on Cerberus HQ, everyone was present that could be present and Tali was the LI.
