I really enjoyed it. The clone thing was a little weak, but still better than starbrat.
The party was a blast. The banter, discussions, all of the crew together (well mostly).
Also, i loved the added scenes with Kaidan (my LI) in this DLC. The romantic bits with the music could have been carried a little longer, but I'm happy.
Side note: What's with the hot tub? I have my LI alone and then I have a party and yet the hot tub is nothing more than a room for Javik to hide out in? Is there something I missed? Some way to involve it in the party or convince Kaidan to relax in it?
Regardless, I can't shake one thing: This, or at least the party, feels like the ending closure we've (many of us) have been wanting. If that picture was the last scene I saw in the game (as in it and the party came post-ending) I would have been very happy to start playing this game again regularly. I would have had no more issues with the ending. It felt like a celebration, in particular Miranda's comment about why Shepard was brought back. A tiny bit of tweaking and it's the ending that will bring huge numbers of fans back to the series.
Still said no real face for Tali. Like a real face, on her character. Always figured Quarians would be revealed as one of the most beautiful races in the galaxy under those suits.
Also: Did anyone notice bugs like Jack's hands touching nothing while she does pull ups or Shepard's feet not touching the floor while sitting in at least one chair?

I'm happy ME3 went out with a bang and not a whimper... but I'm still sad to see it end! So... in case you change your minds and release more DLC in the future, you are free to take my money.

Why? Where do I start?
- The clone was a genius plot twist. Giving Shepard a worthy enemy? Where do I find the person who had this idea? I need to kiss this person.
- BLASTO!!
- Turian tango. Nuff said.
- Turian worried about security in Shep's apartment.
- Shepard telling her people to stop being comedians and start shooting, and then they leave her nothing to shoot at.
- The party
- Kasumi searching through Shepard's underwear at the party.
- Kaidan cooking.
-
- .... everything?
You guys rock, than you for this DLC!!

a lot of people seem to think its post breath scene but a lot more say its just a pile of rubbish.
yes there are some funny moments but that clone mission was clearly ripped from me2.
now if that dlc was set AFTER winning then its all good but since its mid story then its not.
bioware dropped the ball on this one as they could have used this dlc as the happy ending start, like a tour of the solar system, vist places again to see how it is repairing itself untill shepard goes home with his or her love intrest and as a final scene have the crew of the normandy down on the beach having a drink as the caera pans round as they watch the sunset.
that would have changed the whole outlook for future mass effect games.
so again ..... it was rubbish

but better late than never!
wanted from the series’ ultimatum: Closure with Shepard and his squad. J
Despite what others might say, I think the
clone plot device was brilliant. I get to fight Commander Shepard (or at least
a 99.99% clone) as final boss AND I get to hear all the comedy along the way.
Plus, it was interesting seeing the clone boss use the same fight style as
mine. Now I know what my enemies go through… (infiltrator vs infiltrator
rocks!)
It’s sad really, despite wanting closure from
the dlc, I find myself craving for more DLCs like this! Unfortunately, the devs
in Bioware are adamant that this will be their last ME3 DLC (damn!).
Overall the dlc was a smashing hit for me, so
here’s my 2 cents worth of advice for possible improvements to future games who
will have a similar dlc like this one
No suggestions for the story section of the
DLC, Bioware did a splendid job in that section. The apartment and strip,
however, could be better:
Next time, make an Interactive apartment. I
would love the option to mingle around the apartment with my LI or squadmates.
Like ME2, the option to sit on a couch with the LI, cuddle in the bed,
striptease in the corner, etc. Also, I would love to have the option of playing
games (like poker) with my squad. (The casino was nice, but holding a poker
game with squadmates at the apartment would be full of win!!)
Great game! Was able to face the Starchild
with no regrets after playing the dlc, and even though I wasn’t a big fan of
the ending, this DLC made the ride to the endgame a lot sweeter!

IMO it had 2 problems that I noticed that bring my score down a notch. It's indicative of how good I thought the DLC was as a whole that even though these problems are kind of a big deal for me, it only brought my score down a wee bit:
1): It changes from the tone of the rest of the game (pretty serious and even dark) to a campy sort of romp/outing which I liked by itself but taken in the context of the rest of the game is pretty jarring. Especially knowing what will be coming a short time later with the starchild and the endings.
2): The premise of the DLC makes no sense. Not so much the clone shep thing - I actually enjoyed that plot. It's just that the setup to get to that point failed for me - people are dying by the millions out there, the reapers are reaping, and time is of the essence if you hope to stop TIM from doing whatever he is trying to do. So here's Anderson taking a break from leading the resistance on earth to give you an important message that he is...giving you an apartment to throw a big drunken party in? Wait, what? Oh, and go do some gambling and eat some sushi while you're at it, too. Also bring all your friends because sure, the galaxy needs their talents building the crucible and holding the line against the real reapers, but you need to fight some fake holographic reapers on galactic TV with them first.
In other words, the whole setup just felt off - Shepard, whether renegade or paragon, isn't going to be doing this. It's out of character. Renegade sheps just want to get this reaper crap over with and don't have time for useless stuff, and paragon sheps can't stand the thought of all those people dying while they eat sushi. If they have to bring the Normandy in for repairs, so be it, but they'd be gathering intel and firming up alliances and making plans, not partying as if there isn't even a war out there. Ironically, that's the very thing that shepard and joker criticize the rest of the citadel for doing during other parts of the game.
As others have said, this DLC seems like a tailor made post-game DLC, and maybe it was meant to seem like that, I don't know. The tone shift would have made perfect sense, as would the setup. The party, picture, and final sendoff would have been an A+ way to end to game with closure and satisfaction. I know that you couldn't really do that with the endings you created, but it makes me sad thinking about what could have been here. Ah well. I'll probably do what many others are doing and headcanon that it does actually take place after the end.
Now, don't get me wrong. I had a blast with every minute of this DLC and I'll play it with other playthroughs; it makes me feel much better about the game as a whole and I really appreciate BW's efforts in making it. Once I got into it, I was having so much fun that I quickly forgot about the two issues I mentioned above. And they still are easily overlooked for me. Also, this has some of the best value of any DLC you've put out; I'll be at close to 10 hours on this DLC, and this is just my first playthrough of it. I've already got my money's worth out of it, and the fact that it has so much replayability is icing on the cake.
In short, thanks a lot for making it bioware. And seriously, if you change your minds and make more DLC for ME3, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

-It was awesome to have Wrex back, of course.
-I can deal with the clone; For a lighthearted feel, it worked. Plus, it provided some good banter.
-Loved the squad interaction. It's about time that I get to sit down with everyone.
-LI fluff. I'm sorry, I like it, as ridiculous as some of it may be.
What I didn't like was the pacing and timing of it. I decided to fiiinally import my Male Shep that I had been saving for a Kaidan romance because I liked the party so much. Before this, I had beaten the game once and was disappointed, so I put it aside and got back to my MMO addiction. I had actually forgotten, prior to my second runthrough, where this would end up. Now, I'm sorry, but my Shepard had just gotten into a fight with Joker after he was told that EDI noticed how stressed he was (After Thessia and Sanctuary). Then, we fly the Normandy to the Citadel, and he's just fine. Chilling with everyone and having a good time.
I know others have said things, like, 'Well, the Normandy WILL need maintenance before going into the final fight', and sure, I can see that. It's terrible character progression, though. On my second look through the game, I actually began to like all of the poignant moments better, and even the dreaded dreams where Shepard chases the child around, and the context beneath it. The mood and atmosphere that was trying to be contained was just decimated by this party being in the middle of it.
I have to agree, this would have done better as a post-game / post-Reapers DLC. I understand that some people couldn't play it that way (If their Shepard didn't survive), but I do think, narratively speaking, it would be the only place that it would make sense. Head cannoning, that is the ending for me.
All and all, I liked it. For those on the fence, get it, if only for the lulz.

I'm glad they made this, felt like the after party we should have had after driving the reapers back into dark space (a far better plan than magically destroying them) but for me this this was also one final adventure before saying farewell to mass effect and bioware, probably for good. Trust has to be earned back and for all the fun I had with it simple appeasment doesn't cut it.

And it leaves room for a potential companion in ME:Destavio (next game), <Character Name> Wolf (get it?). If he/she really is shepard's clone, then no way could that fall kill them.

For me the best part of the whole thing was the final shot after taking down the clone; Shepard and crew walking off into the sunset, with the Normandy behind them surrounded by a buzz of activity. It's the type of ending I always wanted for the ME trilogy. I hope in years to come when I think back on ME3 and the trilogy that it's this shot that I remember as being the ending to ME3, because I know that way I'll remember it fondly.

This. They gave us an ending that would leave us with fond memories of the series AND its conclusion...yet they stubbornly refused to put it at the end.
Considering the final boss was a faulty, almost certainly dishonest AI, making this the ending would have been a simple matter of changing a few lines. Find out through EDI's arrival that he lied about destroy killing EDI and the Geth to try and dissuade Shepard, for example.
This fantastic DLC was what this game needed to put the ending outrage to rest, for the most part...I'd like to think all the posts saying that will make them realize it and do something, somehow, about it. So close to the legacy Shepard deserves...

Howdy everyone
Hopefully people have started to play the Citadel DLC (PC & PS3 are still on their way at the time I write this) and want to give their opinons, pro or con, about it. Please post your thoughts on the Citadel DLC here.
If you liked it, great. Let people know why you liked it, what was cool, etc. Maybe explain the choices your Shepard made that affected the DLC (like Wrex was dead, romanced Tali, started after Tuchanka mission, etc).
If you didn't like it, I'm sorry you were disappointed. Please let people know why you didn't like it, what let you down, etc. Please don't just post "It sucked" or whatever, please try to explain why you didn't like it.
Obviously SPOILERS below. Read at your own risk.
Thanks.
I want to report a problem that I don't like. It's Liara constantly hitting on me. If I have Miranda as my LI then why does Liara STILL flirts me on "I like your outfit" line. It's ****ing annoying enough to have liara being the "cannon" LI for Shep when the game was made for the player to have "choices" and yet I still get Liara hitting on. In ME3 all she does is ****ing stocks shepard everywhere even in the bathroom where he's washing his face.
If you want me to give you a list of threads of how many people don't like liara Bioware, I have no problem showing you Chris Priestly because I and others are ****ing sick of it
