I enjoyed many of the things people have already posted on here (especially the dialogue, which was absolutely hilarious on many occasions), so I won't go about repeating them. One thing I haven't see mentioned as often is how cool Shepard's new apartment is. I could tell someone really took a lot of time and a lot of care into designing this apartment, and that the artists made it as detailed as they possibly could to make it look like a believable and comfortable place to live. The party dynamic was absolutely brilliant, though I do wish your squadmates would hang out there when you revisit the citadel so it doesn't seem as empty (or at least your LI should be there). Still, loved every bit that we were given!

Yeah, I know, that makes me an utter killjoy, but let me explain. While I do enjoy the lighter moments in the series, I felt this took things too far. Nearly every other line is a one-liner of some kind, and I constantly had the feeling that Bioware almost added a laugh track. Some of the jokes really work, but others seem to strip away the dignity of the characters and the setting. Also, considering the tone of the rest of Mass Effect 3's story, throwing a friggin' house party in the middle of a war seems very irresponsible. The whole thing is pure fanservice fluff, for better or for worse. I'm also worried that the positive response to it from critics and fans will give Bioware the wrong impression; the idea that all we wanted was a happy ending, which was the least of everyone's complaints.
I dunno, I want to love it as there's a ton of effort and it's clearly intended as a farewell to all these characters we grew to love and followed through their journey, a way of letting your hair down. Had it been an epilogue piece taking place after a much, MUCH better ending I'd be pretty bloody thrilled by it. As it is, I enjoyed it for what it is, but I felt that it had no place within the body of Mass Effect 3's story.

Overall I think the DLC was a nice change of pace, and I didn't mind the focus on comedy at all. It felt right from a cinematic standpoint, considering it was supposed to be in the middle of your war with the Reapers, not at the end. Its supposed to serve as a tension break from the impending doom and gloom that is most everything else in this game.
The humor was quite welcome, and I know not everyone appreciates it, but I think its spot on. I'll certainly admit that some of it is very dependant upon being a fan who's played the other games somewhat extensively, but still, I enjoyed it.
As for the 'plot' of the DLC, while it was certainly cheesy, that was kind of the point of the DLC itself. Anyone who was taking this super serious failed to understand the purpose of it. A light hearted send off to the entire Shepard saga. A self parody.
If I could change the DLC's plot slightly, I think I'd have worked the Collectors into the Clone plot somehow. Maybe, instead of making it a Cereberus clone, make it a Collector clone, that Cerberus captured. Having the Collectors show up toward the end of the battle in the Citadel Archives would've been a nice twist after the initial clone twist. Work in some 'Assuming Direct Control' jokes since Cereberus did have the ability to control Reaper forces by that point. Might've been too much, but with this DLC, I'm not sure that's possible. Plus then you could kill those Collectors on the Normandy unlike the last time they boarded her.
I do think it was missing a few things, like Conrad Verner, Kelly Chambers, Dr. Chloe Michel, etc. I can't fathom how a self parody could exist in this game without Conrad Verner. I half expected to see him asking for an invite to the party, perhaps with Jenna on his arm. It would've been the height of amusement to see him interact with Shepard's actual squad, or for those who didn't like him, having Grunt send him away.
Kelly was a potential love interest, so it seemed odd that she wasn't around. She could've had a nice talk with Miranda, Jacob, and Jack about being used by the Illusive Man, sort of like a support group. It would've been a nice chance to show off the slightly nicer side to Jack and the slightly softer side of Miranda that had been cultivated.
Dr. Chloe Michel falls in with Dr. Chakwas in people who would've added some funny dialogue or events to the party, though at least Dr. Chakwas was mentioned even if passingly. Stumbling into a bedroom with Dr. Michel & Garrus laying there talking about what just happened would've made a great scene. An encouraged hookup I would've liked to have seen. Heck, Shepard could've grabbed her instead of a random female Turian for Garrus at the bar for a date, as a lead in.
Verner was also missed at the Armax Arsenal Arena, either as a spectator in the crowd, or maybe as a possible squad mate, with Sabotage (taught by Jenna), Decoy, and Defense Drone (a tongue in cheek play on his likely role in such a squad as a living decoy). Maybe only capable of using a Heavy Pistol and having next to nothing in shields/health. He could have had some nice confirmation lines like, "Am I doing this right?" "Why did my gun stop shooting?!" "I'm out of ammo!" etc.
Speaking of the Armax Arsenal Arena, I was kind of disappointed with a basic bug like the temporary squadmates being short a single point. Maybe Urdnot Wrex wasn't supposed to obey things like "Squad Power Use" settings (I could see that), but it was annoying to see him have grenades but just have him waste them before getting a chance to use them well.
I think the bugs got me the most, really. All-in-all, there weren't too many, but the ones that were there were really glaring. For the final DLC, the last hurrah to the game, and to the story more or less, this felt like the time to really get things right.
Though, there was alot right about the gameplay here when it comes to enemies. The Clone was a bit too much on Insanity, playing against him was frustrating. However, Cat6 was the perfect upgrade for Cereberus, and I think it really demonstrated the development team learning alot from the game. Fighting them felt like a much more cohesive entity, at least right up until the Clone fight which then they were just some background noise to the main cheese.
The Snipers were actually a threat, and killed me several times, and the Heavy units were downright brutal, feeling like the slow but envitable hammer coming down if you didn't pull it together. At times the battles with them were frustrating, and I think a little advice from your squadmates would've been good in this instance. Maybe EDI talking about overloading their omni-shields, while another squadmate chimes in about 'how ridiculous it is to tell Shepard how to fight'. Another missed opportunity for a tongue-in-cheek reference.
While on this subject, the actual party and various character meetings were nice, but also short. I do feel like they lacked a certain something, perhaps because of how short they were. There didn't seem to be any real closure in them, though I understand that probably wasn't quite the intention for your main squadmates. A few, like Miranda's (as a friend) felt like she had grown, though Jacob's was woefully flat.
I figured this would be the time to give Jacob that personality everyone (who cared) wanted him to have. It was kinda there with him giving Shepard attitude at the arcade, but during the actual party, I was hoping to hear more. I'm just glad for the brief but very funny interaction between him and Kasumi.
In the end, I got my money's worth. That may sound cold, but that's the metric of today. I'd buy it again knowing what I know now. That's saying something.

Beside of that, as a whole, i liked the Citadel DLC for its fan-service parts. I really appreciated the return of Urdnot Wrex in my team even if it was temporaly.

Possibly one of my favorite bits about it was hearing the multiplayer characters' discussions.
And the Pizza Delivery Volus because... well. Just because.

1) No mention of certain Normandy crew.
Legion (one of my favorites) was the only un-savable squadmate that was never mentioned at all. At the very least he deserves an arcade high score. Dr. Chakwas got an off hand mention, but what about Kelly, Adams, Kenneth, and Gabby? I can only imagine adding Kenneth and Kelly to the Samantha & Joker conversation would've made it hilarious.
2) No mention of dead Normandy crew during the party.
I know the party is supposed to be upbeat, but it would've given a better image of a Normandy family if some characters mentioned how they miss ________.
3) No final speech at the party.
There would have been a perfect opportunity to let Shepard have a big final speech if there was an option to have a toast. Give a dialogue tree to call everyone his family (Paragon), his friends (neutral), or his best soldiers (Renegade). Then end the toast by dedicating it to the past (the fallen), present (the party), or the future (victory). Then take the picture.
4) No ME2 squadmates during the Clone plot.
ME2 squadmates could have easily been written into the mission by coming to Shepard's aid like Liara/LI or Wrex. It would have been a funny parody of the Suicide Mission to plan out the Casino mission like a heist movie by assigning ME1/2/3 squadmates to different roles. Then during the Citadel Archives mission, add a third team and name it Team Kodiak.
5) No Conrad Verner.
Conrad should have been added in some capacity. It would've been funny to see him help the Clone, or even put him as one of the people trying to get into the party.

With the Destroy ending all Technology is destroyed or damaged, beacuse EDI is an AI she is either "Dead" or unable to come back online. I haven't finished ME 3 in a while so i might be wrong.Gwindor The Witchhunter wrote...
I've finally completed Citadel DLC and destroyed the reapers. Putting a closing end to what has been the best computer gaming experience i've ever had. Like everyone else, i'm both happy and sad that the Mass Effect Trilogy has ended. No video game has ever moved me like the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series.
I'm happy that shep is alive and its easy enough to guess what happens to him after destroying the crucible. But i'm more curious as to what happens to EDI after ME3. If Joker out flew the blast why was her name added on the memorial wall???? Why would her body even be affected by the energy wave????
Can we please have a graphic novel that shows what happens to each and everyonw of the surviving crew after ME3???
Thanks Bioware!
Install MEHEM and the destroy ending doesn't kill Shepard, doesn't kill EDI, and doesn't wipe out the Geth.

The DLC has some bugs, and it doesn't have the jaw-dropping beauty of LotSB or Leviathan, but the variety and depth really make up for it. This is a DLC that really deserves to be part of every playthrough of this game.
Score: B plus.

All of the others I can't get to trigger at all.
Aside from that glaring bug, the content I can access is most excellent..

10/10, favorite DLC besides Kasumi. I like the Citadel DLC because it feels good to get away from all the seriousness of the main game and see most of the squadmates let their hair down in some manner. Zaeed and Garrus setting up traps was a personal favorite but by far the best part was having Wrex in my party again. He was my bro throughout the entire first game.
when do they set up traps?

The DLC is awesome, but half of the content won't trigger for me. I ran it right before Chronos and only Traynor, Joker, Tali, EDI, James, Liara, Cortez and Zaeed have triggered for me.

Huh? Did you save the cerberus scientists (and meet with Jacob) before the party? Did you go to Horizon and meet up with Miranda (after warning her earlier about the idiot ninja dude)? Those should trigger those two characters. Tali gets triggered, I assume, after Rannoch.

It made me laugh, it made scream bloody murder when I lost money in the varren races,
i partied with everyone still living and even found out I had a renegade evil twin clone(which i actually liked;)
and the arena was fun as hell, that alone adds replay value
And as for the cheesiness many are berating this for...you knew this coming in, why spend 15 dollars only to complain?<_<

I was disappointed that we didn't get clone shepard's armor, and even more disappointed at the lacluster cerberus armor handed out in the Armax Arena. I think we have enough armors bearing the mark of an enemy faction. Isn't this a roleplaying game? It seems lazy on bioware's part to charge 1200 Microsoft points and then hand down a recycled game asset.
