I really enjoyed this dlc. The thing I liked most was the dialogue between the characters. Having most back was great and funny. The humor was nice considering how grim the rest of the game is. It's like catching your breath before diving back in. Overall I think this game is great and all the dlc has made it better with the citadel being the best for ME3.

The DLC amazing Chris. It could have been the best of the trilogy if
1. unlocking achievement for real recruiting a former Mass Effect 2 squad mate of the players discretion, that would have made this DLC hands down the best in the trilogy and truly reward fans
2. interesting that we see the introduction of the CAT6 (clone) armor and no 1 can actually get it. Instead we're left with cerberus armor (again)....still rather enjoyable. Make u a deal however though Chris, let say i finish ME3 a whooping 30 times (on my 23rd save @ the momeny)
1.u realease the N7 Defender Armor minus the helmet
2. Let surviving ME2 squad playable at least for Priority Earth
3. realease that CAT6 armor (no helmet).....please!!! I's loves u guys lol but serieiously
23 saves
Deal?
Come on, BW "23" SAVES! (:

that would make the DLC perfect, especially as the unremovable hemet always bugged me, but it makes the ending far too bitter due to the positivity with your crew, and then not recieving any closure about them at the end (except a few ME2 squadmates).

This dlc was worth every penny. The main story was "meh" but the banter between Shepard and his friends kept it going. The best part was after that, when your able to hang out and take some RnR with your crew(A couple days off at the Citadel while replenishing supplies for the Normandy and making contacts seems reasonable during the war to me). My favorite moments of the DLC so far is when your whole crew had you cover, grunt's escape from the hospital, Traynor's chess match, Beating James's pullup record(HAH), extra time with my LI who isn't aboard the Normandy, and the party(almost makes me tear up everytime I look up at that picture). There are other moments that gave me a laugh but these are the most memorable. This dlc helps to make my shepard remember what he is fighting for and it actually helps make the game less depressing. If this was 20$ I still would have bought and so this dlc is a 9 out of 10 for me.

Did anyone else notice the woman in the restaurant asking if "this was authentic French sushi"?

I just finished it and enjoyed it. Felt a little short, but enjoyed the humor and extra moments with Miranda. As soon as Wrex jumped out the window and onto the transport I knew I was going to enjoy it. I thought the clone idea was pretty good, but again it felt short and hoped to get more out of it.

I finished this DLC right before the assault on TIM's base and after the moments with Miranda it's gonna make the final conversation with her during the final mission seem out of place kind of. But all in all, humorous, fun, and I'd say worth it.

(OH and stupid Kasumi wasn't present because I missed the opportunity to get her during the Jordom Bau mission, boooooo!)

This DLC is the ending for me. No need to assault the cerberus base or anything, all my playthroughs end right here.

I absolutely love this dlc.  Everything about it is damn near perfect.  Of course, knowing how the game ends, it does make me want to cry at times, but still.  The humor, the music...WREX!!!  Love it all.

I do have one question.  I put off doing anything until after Horizon, because I wanted Miranda there.  But, I noticed that some of the messages you get from different crew?  I wasn't able to meet with them.  For instance, I never met Wrex at the bar (although I've seen the video), I was never given an oportunity to meet with Tali after her email, no memorial for Thane, etc.  At least, I couldn't find any meeting indicators.  Do you have to advance things by doing other missions in between, or am I just assuming content that isn't there?  Also, I noticed a lot of 'damaged' vieo logs in the archives.  Are they always like that, or is it a timed thing or something?  I thought there was supposed to be one with the Ark of the Covenant, but I couldn't watch it.  (If I should move these question elsewhere, do please tell me and I will.)

Not sure about the others, which were damaged for me as well, but for the ark one, you need to back away quite a bit and look back at it from a distance to see anything.  That's the one where the voiceover says something about an earth artifact, unknown age or something like that.

ETA:  For Thane, you should get an option to invite Kolyat up that will start the memorial.  For Tali, you should also get an invite.  For wrex and Joker, you need to go up near the bartender on the casino's second floor, and there should be an option that appears to wait for them.  For me, Joker's meeting was first, and then I went back a second time later and wrex's option appeared.  Jack's content won't appear until you do an Armax arena match.  Zaeed and Kasumi are encounters at different places on the strip.
If you aren't getting more emails or don't see the wait options, do any invites you already have.  I believe you can only have 5 squad interactions available at once or something, so invite everybody that you can or do their mini-missions or whatnot, then check back.  New ones should then appear.

ETA 2:  In case you don't know, to invite people you need to go to your message computer in the apartment and select the far left tab with a stick figure on it.  That will have all your invites options.  I couldn't figure out how to do that for a while myself.

I really enjoyed this DLC. In fact, I hadn't played the game since around a year ago when I did the original playthrough.

After playing through all of the Citadel content, I downloaded the extended cut DLC and beat the game again. Walked away feeling a lot better about the ending this time. I was bittersweet about the ending of the trilogy but I think it hit all the right notes.

Can't wait for Mass Effect 4 now!

Holy hell I was outta practice. Insanity Armax arena: Unusual Scores last bit was pretty frakking difficult(with all positive score modifiers on), especially since Wrex and Tali both died instantly.

Also, Blasto is an ****. I wish I really could've thrown him out the airlock.

I can't remember if I posted on this thread, I probably stayed on thread posted by other BSN people.

Anyway I liked the Citadel DLC, gettign this additional time with the crew, past and pressent. I did miss Legion and I never got to have mordin on my party but I'm guessing mordin could have made it if you had convinced him, (I havn't checked on that)

Besides that, I can understand why Legion couldn't come considering Legions situation throughout the ME3 story.

I even found the Geth interesting back in ME1 but they were also fun to kill, but they were shooting at me so then it's justified to do the same :)

The armax arena was interesting, it was like an upgraded pinnacle station, even if it's not my favrite type of activity it was entertaining and added to the DLC.

The story with the clone was ok but I don't think it was the most interesting part of the DLC, least not for me. I did like the casino stealth spy part, it was interesting sneaking around and having "wrex" create diversion(seriously, a krogan trying to be sneaky and subtle!) Loved that part.
The fighting in the air car dealers garage was ok, the cars could have given a bigger boom I guess but I wasn't trying to blow them up so that's ok. I know it probably would have been impossible in ME3 but liftign those stationary cars with a biotic lift (assuming you're strogn enough) and then use a push to throw it at your enemies would have been fun, even if it could be hard to pull off. (just thinking of extreme extra features here, not something I would expect, but maybe sometihng for the next game, might make non biotics less fun though) But tactical elements like that could be fun, that and stealth killing enemies.

Imo the Citadel DLC especialy the parts where you spent time with your "mass effect friends" was the best DLC made for Mass effect, the shadow broker DLC in ME2 was pretty good aswell.

I like having those social interactions and an interactive environment, the arcades, cassino and stuff like that did add to the overall experience.

Back in ME2 I thought the commercial posters were a nice touch, being told Shepard hadn't had a job for a year or that Asari VI tryign to sell Shepard an Asari burrial robe because "Sheard" had been dead :D That was pretty good, I loved that VI logic! You have been dead! Perhaps you would like to buy an Asari Burrial robe?

Personaly I love those tiny social interactions and interactive thigns in the Mass effect universe the most. The combat elements are mostly a transit for me. But I have to admit I enjoy the combat aswell, especialy when it's story related.
Even with the above I have to say I liked the ME3 multiplayer, especialy given the ability to play so many different characters :)

There is a lot of stray thoguhts there but I thouht I coudl give an overview of what I think and like. So first of all Story, characters, interactive living immersive environments, then the combat.
There is a lot of good stuff in ME3 and the Citadel DLC added to it nicely. That said I'm not a fan of the end mission priority earth or the endings but I've tried to put that behind me. But I still consider the later parts of the game less than good and what one could expect from mass effect given itneraction, choices and keeping with the theme of the game and series. I would have loved to see more war assets or variation of soem kind dependign on what you brought.

Anyway the Citadel DLC was great, one can always wish for more but I feel like I got what I expected/wanted and perhaps even a little more from this DLC. So my thanks goes to the people responsible for the Citadel DLC. Thank you :)

Not all the meetings in the Citadel are initiated by the email system.  Wrex in particular.  I simply stumbled on his.  Go to the casino bar (for me it was when I went to buy party supplies, 2 playthroughs so far) to buy party supplies (you buy them but do not need to USE them right away...put off the party until later).  You will see an action indicator at the bar that is not "talk to bartender".  Do that and Wrex will come up beside you and the vignette will start.  Hilarious.

Really loved the DLC! :D

i do not want to read whole 40, 50 pages threads for one info i am looking for: what "balance changes" have been made to the SP lately (i guess with the Citadel DLC)?

i noticed the buffs to my Sentinel-Shep's Tech-Armor and to the Fortification power - and i heard there was are lot more tweaking done - can somebody (like BW or one of the more, valuable geek-talent gifted community members) make a list of it/ post me a link to it please?

Really enjoyed this DLC.  Yes it seemed out of place from the doom and gloom of the rest of ME3, but you do need a break/escape from that. I took it as light hearted fun with your friends and it delivered that for me.
The story was pretty good, but what made this dlc for me was the interactions with your team. I've found that is what really sets Bioware games apart from others. Yes story is important to me, but your team and the interactions with them always draws me back. There aren't just some random NPCs, they become your friends and you care for them.
There are so many great/hilarious moments, too many to list. However my favorite will be doing the tango with Garrus. Image IPB

I really liked this DLC.  I have been a heavy critic of the endings to ME3.  But the things I didn't like about the endings (the sudden appearance of the Star Child, the inability to "win" the struggle with a well played game, the lack of closure from the "Shepard lives" Destroy ending, the lack of interaction with your friends, etc.) I found in the Citadel DLC.  Had something like a boss fight followed by the party been the actual ending of the game, I would have found this trilogy to be the greatest ever.  Now, the Citadel is my ending.  I am perfectly content to stop there and call it a game.

I really appreciate the self-reflection and open-mindedness that the Bioware team has exhibited in creating Citadel.  No doubt, the original endings created a firestorm of criticism from players who loved the series and their Shepard.  Because the character was designed as an extension of the player and his/her choices, the ending struck particularly hard.  Those, like me, who really disliked it did so intensely.  The criticism was equally intense, and it takes a great deal of character and dedication to fans to work through that, to listen, and to find a way to address those concerns.  I appreciate that effort.  And Citadel was thoroughly enjoyable.  A fitting end to Shepard's journey.

I particularly liked the fact that this DLC allowed a few moments with the characters you cared most about.  And the vignettes did a good job of capturing Shepard's unique relationships with each member of his team.  It was the best of what made the trilogy unique.  And the final battle, Shepard versus his clone, worked fine for me.  Particularly fantastic was the setting, the Citadel archives with a walk through galactic history as the battle progressed.

Really well done.  This ending is sad only because the journey is over.  And this was a fitting tribute to Shepard.  Congratulations on listening through the criticism and trying to reach those of us who loved the story but felt left behind by the original conclusion.  For me, it was a beautiful farewell.

Best DLC ever. Don't be discouraged by people who say that fanservice is not good for the company's future. There is nothing wrong in satisfying your fans and customers.

If you aren't getting more emails or don't see the wait options, do any invites you already have.  I believe you can only have 5 squad interactions available at once or something, so invite everybody that you can or do their mini-missions or whatnot, then check back.  New ones should then appear.

Okay, now I feel like a complete idiot.  I should have realized that tab would do something different than usual, since there's no reason to be changing your squad's images and stuff right then.,  I didn't even notice.  Thank you so much, I am now going back to the beginning, post-battle, of the dlc and starting fresh.  :D  Can't wait to see all the stuff I missed.

Oh, and I forgot to mention - all those conversations you hear about multiplayer? Priceless! I especially love the Infiltrator who's all, "I had perfect cover! Line of sight, no flanking, etc. And where were they? Standing on a ramp!" Describes random groups perfectly!
