All in all loved it but I hoped it would be longer for the size. I did the dlc as soon as I was able so didn't have everyone available but with the way it looked like Brooks was going to attempt an escape at the end i hoped that by the time I'd reached Cerberus HQ it would kick in again with a 'Brooks has escaped, you need to go get her' bit.

I'm finally getting into the Armax combat simulator which is really cool, but it's glitched out and has the time meter running with no enemies spawning...I don't know what to do?

Otherwise, so far my playthrough of the DLC has been outstanding.

Just finished the citadel dlc and got to say its awesome but I cant help but wonder why not canon an ending and have the party after you win the war it would have made most of the fanbase happy to get a happy ending with why give three different options if this is the end of the trilogy and commander shepard I don't understand that thinking process now we have to wait till at least next year before we get the next mass effect game and its not even going to have shepard or Jack in it for that matter

Too many questions left unanswered

I finished the Citadel DLC last week. I must say that I played it during my first ME3 play through so I don't have the same sense of something apart from the rest of the game that other players may have.

I enjoyed it very much, from the clone missions and hilarious moments it brought to the conversations with the NPCs. Although I felt that it seemed a bit out of the story to throw a party just after Priority: Horizon (if you wanted to have all the available NPCs) I really liked it and laughed a lot with all the jokes and references to previous games.

This DLC is really worth playing.

Loved the Citadel DLC, the clone story was a little Meh but the banter between characters was absolutely brilliant. The passion of everyone involved really shone through.

On a somewhat related note the achievement for beating the mirror match was really a feat to achieve.

If the Citadel DLC was from the team responsible for the Next Gen Mass Effect then I look forward to whatever they produce

I want a lithograph of the group photo. Seriously. Something around the 20x30 or 30x40 range.

I can't believe I'd didn't leanrn about this dlc until a few hours ago from another board dealing with Star Wars. I already bought it and am downloading as I type. Here's to a good time. After I finish this playthrough of ME2 I will go onto a third replay of ME3 with my downloaded ME1 character and Omega & Citadel dlcs.

Citadel DLC - Thane Krios romance update welcomed,
but ...
would have liked to have 3 small pieces added so that making it to the end of the game wasn't so difficult to get through.

1.) Thane's picture in my room on the Normandy. A must and easy to add.
2.) Final romance scene it would have been nice to have looked longingly at his picture or, even better, when I gaze up into the starry night, I see his face...best - another "ghost" scene with him giving me the encouragement to go on that I so badly need at this point.
3.) Final small bit, after I "die" - a quick vid of Shepard running into Thane's arms on the seashore - Call me a sentimental romantic, but that would have made everything damn near perfect and forgivable, especially since I remained faithful and lonely until the bitter end.

I guess I've always believed that since they didn't put my name on the wall of dead that they knew I'd lived through so much more that they were going to find me. At least, that is what I want to believe. That my LI or friends wouldn't give up on me. But, with a Thane only romance, that ending wouldn't have been ideal...at least not for me.

(Not sure where I should have posted this - so hope I didn't step on any toes)

Citadel dlc - Garrus romance rocks...

I so much appreciate Garrus showing some emotion and cutting loose. I could never tell if he was with my Shepard because he loved her or because he respected her. he never told her he loved her until the beam episode...so, it was always a bit lacking during the main game...but, the Citadel DLC went a long way towards making up for that. I just hated to leave the DLC and go back to the main game when he would tell me "not now...or maybe later" Really??? You say that to your lover and you're likely to be sleeping on the couch...
I do, however, wish I could have invited Garrus over to the house to eat, watch a vid, or do something normal and comfortable...like what happened with Kaidan. The dance was all that...never had so much fun hitting the renegade options...but, that wasn't a private moment.

Like many have said, I've never had so much fun playing a game....I was literally on the floor laughing and crying and hurting because I couldn't stop. I have to say I needed that. So, I've made sure I saved before the DLC so I can go back and replay it whenever I feel like it. :)

I've played this dlc about 6 times in the past 2 weeks, with all of my full trilogy play through characters. And now I'm creating another character so I can start it all again from ME 1. What can I say? It's just too addictively fun. It reminds me why I love ME series so much. The music, the humor, the inside jokes, the teammates are all so hilarious and alive, the party kicked ass (I've spent more time at Shepard's party than any real life party that I've ever attended), and the special romantic scene with your LI. Everything, I love everything of this dlc. I sat almost an hour with teary eyes after my first play through, knowing that the friends, the adventure that I've grown to love so much the past 4 years has finally come to an end.
Thank you BioWare, for creating a wonderful franchise, wonderful universe, wonderful story, and wonderful characters. Others might complain endlessly, but to me, BioWare is still the best game developer, and Mass Effect will always be my all time favorite franchise.

Finished it up last night.

SO GOOD!

As most people have said, Grunt, and Mordin's parts were worth the price of the dlc itself.

The party, the arena- I kept unlocking bronze prizes. The volus pizza guy, "I should go" debate

I actually liked the clone part- I'm weird lol

But with this and the EC, after a year, I finally feel like I can replay this game which is great because I have about a dozen different Sheps

Loved the lampshading ("hey were on a ladder"), loved the Traynor/EDI convo, Vega flexing and Liara "flexing" as well. Finally got some new dialogue from Yvonne ::squeals::...the clone thing was wierd but interesting (especially since he had my move set) in combat.

The combat balance was whack lollll, the enemies just crumbled. And it felt like the whole shore leave gag was forced but it was very much needed.

I loved it, and every scene fit perfectly with how I played my Shepard.

An orphan from the streets of Earth, he grew up with huge respect/trust issues. Snarky, collected, and more than a little crazy. Go ahead, push me, and see just how far I'll go to end you. Painfully.Earn it, and you've got a bond, forged for life. He did the Loyalty Missions for them [his crew] because they were willing to follow him into hell to save the galaxy. The least he could do was let them have no regrets. Yes, I even sided with Zaeed.Betray it, and there's nothing that can save you from me. The 'mount your heads on my wall and then space them' was brilliant! As was kicking the clone off my ship, and shooting the traitor.
The Normandy and her crew are my family, and nobody ****s with them.

The banter between the crew either had me in stitches or tugging at that last soft spot left. Grunt's hospital escape and bailout from the cops was great, and the banter between me and Wrex in the archives while Tali was worried was spot-on. The Blasto movie was cheesy and groan-inducing, and getting Garrus hooked up was priceless.

Hi. I'm Commander Shepard, and when I'm not out saving the galaxy I'm helping my crew get laid.

All the squad interactions were liked, and the Invite Up scenes were especially touching. Still enjoying the Armax Arena.

So this gets all my love for bringing me back to the good ol' days of gunning down mercs and trading banter.
The final scene of Shepard looking out at the SR-2 at the end of the DLC was especially poigant, and definitely fitting.

While I agree with all of the generally favorable comments regarding the Citadel DLC, I would hope that Bioware would patch it at least once so I can have Ashley back on the Normandy during gameplay after the DLC is launched. She is just gone, still available for missions, but nothing else. Not sure how deep this will go, planning next on going through it with her as the LI. I suspect there are other bugs, so please Bioware, don't let this be quite the end.

Bring Ashley Back!!

wow. I just played the main part, have not had the party. I cannot forget the ending, I cannot even fully forgive no game should be made where you invest 40 hours in it or more and then have no possible way to win. Its messed up. But This DLC. So fun, hi****inglarious, Wrex uncle urdnot GOD I love this game now. The crew is so much a family and its wonderful.

Two words; Fan tastic!
I don't know if tastic is a word but I defiantly feel that you listened to what the fans wanted to see in this dlc. Thanks allot for that!
The story was awesome as well, the dialog brilliant as always and the ending was heartbreaking.
The quality time with the crew was awesome as well, a bit awkward to hear Tali sing though. XP

This is my last post on BSN. I loved the saga for years, I support the indoctrination theory, and my Shepard is waking up in London with the reapers out there, leaving me in a cliffhanger nightmare I can never wake up from, this is my punishment for trusting Bioware writers and getting engaged in this story.

Citadel DLC is a stinky cheesy TV episode of normady : high school days, an obvious post ending victory DLC shoved up in the middle of the game with one liners and references that took that side of me that admired the sophistication and touch Bioware was known about in their stories and broke it down to dust. Im talking now to any of the genius and fabulous writers from ME1 and ME2, the ones that built this beautiful world : Why you let this happen, why you let them kill mass effect with non-sense. Was it arrogance ? so unfortunate.

In this DLC they took my beloved comander shepard and turned her into a partying ******, who doesnt care about the ongoing reaper war or the reapers, a shamelest fanservice fest with Shepard and crew taking part on a script more worthy of charlies angels. Talking about an impostor shepard.

Time to leave ME behind, the awkening never arrived, the nonsense prevails, and Bioware have new "improved" fans with less demanding quality.

Good luck bioware, you are going to need it.

Codename_code - "You'll miss me."

Comander Shepard - "Not at this range."

Finally did the party, so I can now say with certainty that this is the greatest DLC in all of Mass Effect.

One other thing, because of the interactions with the previous squadmates in the Citadel DLC, the part of Priority: Earth where you can say your goodbyes to your previous squadmates actually feels satisfying to me.

I hope to get this DLC.. much later.. when it is on sale for like 5 cents as I will not give BioWare anymore money until they can become more respectful to customers that have legitimate concerns about products that are marketed dishonestly with a PR that is rude and an attitude that is unapologetic. If they can only say, "Hey, we screwed up." this wouldn't be such a big deal.

From all the things I've seen so far:
Pros:
-Whacky and fun little storyline.
-Felt more like a parody/joke on ME/Shepard/Squadmates itself/themselves, rather than something I would call canon storywise.
-Loved the datapad Mordin left for Shepard.
-Good to see Thane got a little more content.
-Party was great fun.
-Still Shepard can't dance properly. Although you can get to see Shepard shaking her ass in Purgatory all by herself, which is kinda weird. I guess my Shep is just shy around the crew.

Cons:
-Give Javik a suit and tie!!! Really, that was a big disappointment. Lazy protean :)
-Personally the romances still felt quite a bit shortlived. Meetup, talk for 5 seconds, say I love you and goodbye. Nothing more than that really. The same problem I had with how the romances were way too short when going to Cronos Station. I want to talk more and interact with the characters.
-Same problem for the rest of the crew/squadmates. Meetup for 5 seconds, talk two sentences and then they just left me hanging there on the Silversun strip.
-The interactions I get by inviting them to the apartment is also really really shortlived. Was expecting something more.
-The Armax Arena feels mostly worthless to me. It's just too easy, even on insanity the mirror matches are a breeze. I got all the arena quests done really fast. Did a few matches with 13k+ scores and I bought all the stuff from the arena reward vendors, practically instantly, since the matches barely last 1.5mins for me. Mind you I also play quite a bit of multiplayer. Guess the arena is more for singleplayer types.
-Please give us something else than just more Cerberus Armor, or at least let me change the color of it. Cerberus needs to recruite better fashion designers :)
-The stats on these phantom armors are nice, but I don't really need all that stuff. Still going with my own custom set.
My rosenkov set gives the same power recharge as the C Spirit Armor. CSA has more power dmg and shields ofc, but in singleplayer I don't need it. Everything always dies so fast regardless. Plus I can customize the color of my set, more options to customize my character is always a good thing. Makes everything feel more personal to me at least.
...
A few hiccups here and there, but mostly I enjoyed the Citadel DLC.

On my Femshep that romanced Kaidan their were several little moments where he would make a comment that referenced them being together. I liked the amount of interaction you got with your LI I do think that whatever you get as a fan you will always want more but in this regard for Kaidan at least I feel Bioware actually listened to the fans

My MShep romanced Kaidan and I noticed that as well. I really enjoyed the little moments outside calling Kaidan to the apartment. All the little comments throughout the DLC to reference them as being a couple. Previously, outside of becoming a couple, before the station, and once or twice during Priority: Earth *shudder*, there was little to indicate any sort of relationship. This DLC really seemed to fill that out quite a bit. We got to see them as a couple not only in a scene, but throughout. Similar to the way Leviathan added Kaidan mentioning "I guess that's part of what I love about you" after Shepard did something crazy dangerous.
