I just finished a run through, still have to throw the party and have the post mission character interactions and minigames to try out but this was pretty solid I have to admit. The evil clone thing was silly as hell but seeing as it was mostly played for laughs I can't say I find much at fault with this DLC. It had the levity and good feelings sorely missing before, and for once it wasn't counterbalanced with melodrama.
Comments like these makes me think the people playing Mass Effect would have faulted 'Band of Brothers' for not being enough like 'Hogan's Heroes.'

The dlc really made me laugh a lot. It was fun and fairly light hearted which was nice.
But I do see why people say it felt a bit out of place. Sure I understand shep needs some r&r but everyone was just so cheerful, right until the end. I would have loved it as a post ending dlc but I understand why it couldn't be.
So yeah, I really enjoyed it.

This is my last post on BSN. I loved the saga for years, I support the indoctrination theory, and my Shepard is waking up in London with the reapers out there, leaving me in a cliffhanger nightmare I can never wake up from, this is my punishment for trusting Bioware writers and getting engaged in this story.
Citadel DLC is a stinky cheesy TV episode of normady : high school days, an obvious post ending victory DLC shoved up in the middle of the game with one liners and references that took that side of me that admired the sophistication and touch Bioware was known about in their stories and broke it down to dust. Im talking now to any of the genius and fabulous writers from ME1 and ME2, the ones that built this beautiful world : Why you let this happen, why you let them kill mass effect with non-sense. Was it arrogance ? so unfortunate.
In this DLC they took my beloved comander shepard and turned her into a partying ******, who doesnt care about the ongoing reaper war or the reapers, a shamelest fanservice fest with Shepard and crew taking part on a script more worthy of charlies angels. Talking about an impostor shepard.
Time to leave ME behind, the awkening never arrived, the nonsense prevails, and Bioware have new "improved" fans with less demanding quality.
Good luck bioware, you are going to need it.
+1
This exactly. I loved the banter, but good God, what the hell? What happened to quality story telling? A clone? Seriously? My friend asked me what the worst thing that could happen in this DLC would be. We came up with an indoctrinated left behind Virmire squad member and laughed our arses off just thinking about it, but this, this was even worse. I can't believe it. It's like someone turned some badly written fanfic into a DLC.
So long Bioware, thanks for te ride, I'll just pretend this DLC never happened.

I thought so far- fantastic.
Such a great focus on characterzation, so much voice acting, entirely tongue and cheek- a nice transition from a game that can sometimes seem dreery.
As well- seeing all of the different "Casino Enterances" alone was AMAZING
Video incoming
In the background of the video i can hear the song that plays in ME 2 Kasumi`s mission on the planet Bekenstein
just when you walk in to the party you hear it.
Its the first one in this video
I forgot about this song how good it is, if you didnt post that video this song would have been lost forever for me.
When you meet with Liara in the apt, she's playing the piano version of the Vigil theme.

The story was corny, but I don't mind since it was meant to be. I love the visuals, and it's good at bringing out the feels. It does feel a little bit too light-hearted and good-spirited to fit into ME3 (this would be incredible if it was post ending).
If you're looking for a fix to the overall problems of the game though, it's a disappointment minus the content for ME2 characters.

This was really the best dlc ever and a perfect last goodbye
firstly I liked the story about clone shep and the various inside jokes
but the character interactions were the best part of the dlc
it's been a year since the mass effect 3 release and like 6 years since all this started
I still can't believe it's over but I guess every good thing has end?!
So this is like a final thank you from me for the best entertainment product I have ever seen
I will leave the forums though because there are too much haters and whiners ...
So goodbye and till me 4 (it will never be that good )
of course I will replay this wonderful trilogy over and over!!
p.s. sry about my english not my native language

Otherwise, though, I loved all of the content. The humor, the main story arc, the party, the fighting arena, all of it was wonderful. If this amount of care is put in to future projects, rather than the amount of care put into things like vanilla ME3 or Omega, then I will break my bank account buying it. Bang-up job with this one, Bioware.

This is less feedback more of a question:How do you get Wrex to appear in the DLC if this DLC only opens up AFTER the Citadel coup, which, if memory serves me, is AFTER Tuchanka? Ergo, Wrex not available?

Seriously, how did you guys ever manage to stuff so many mythology gags into a single piece of game content?

The obvious love and care put into it really shows through. I'm just sad Shepard's story is now over for good (but at least I can load up that party and experience it again

Evil clone plots stopped feeling new maybe 100 years ago. Nothing really original was said.
Also the plot relies on the clone being almost omniscient and omnipowerful - except being beaten by Shepard. Hiring a huge merc corp and accessing the Council secret Archive? No biggie. Despite being the most secretive place in the Universe. As long as Shepard can follow him.
Lots of cheesy moments. Enjoyable nonetheless.
Armax Arena is an interesting idea. Feels a little bit like soling the MP, but hey, endless fights against a copy of Shepard!
