Attn Bioware: I will bump the score up to an automatic 10 if the MP team decides to release the "Volus Pizzaman" class.

#1 didn't bother me all that bad because most of them were funny. #3 could've just been my perception. #2 I can live with.
Other than those little complaints, I absolutely loved it.

A year later I can't believe Mass Effect could make me feel depressed again, but it did. Had the game not ended so horrifically, had this taken place after the finale and been an actual goodbye to the characters and Shepard, I would have bought it instantly and loved it completely. I mean the final scene at the Normandy alone was like a punch in the gut.
But as it stands I'm just more depressed at how pointless it is, how it all seems so wrong set in the middle, and how it all still funnels into the same gut wrenching spiral. Nothings changed.
This could have been an epic final farewell to the characters and series I'd come to love, but sadly I'm left with an exercise in futility.
Oh and also, the Council knew it was a Reaper that attacked the Citadel all along? Why the bloody hell didn't they do anything about it? One of the reasons I see people say we were left with the Crucible was because no one had prepared, but now we know they knew about the Reapers so why the hell didn't anyone do anything?

I found it to be a very cheerful and awesome DLC to have all the crew back together for one last hoorah. I didn't mind the clone or a boss fight (I don't think they are too video gamey). The banter was freaking fantastic as well as the party. I thought it was very well done. A few minor glitches but nothing to worry myself over. Although Jack doing pull ups in thin air did make me chuckle.
Negative:
It was done so well that it made every darn feeling of that horrible ending come back. I cannot muster the strength to end it, so I will leave it at the DLC. Had this been post-ending, it would have been an absolutely perfect ending to Shepards story.
I loved shepard and crew throughout the years, I will miss having more shepard stories in the future.

Specifics: I played through as an engineer renegon who: had wrex alive, started after Rannoch, and romanced Tali.
- I actually liked the literal play-out of "what would shephard be without her/his squad?" clone idea
- I enjoyed the environment of the citadel, it feels very much like time square or something.
- Combat was pretty decent, nothing to write home about but adequate. Seemed a little easy to me, but I was an engineer and all those Cat6 guys had shields I could take down easily.
- All of the banter and inside jokes. It may be laid on a bit thick, but that's kind of what we wanted and it balances the game as a whole. It's nice to have a lighthearted squad appreciation day.
- Length was decent too, I was expecting more for 4 gigs but I guess it makes sense due to the many branching dialogue and cut-scene options.
- It was really hilarious and lighthearted in general. I literally laughed out loud at the volus pizza delivery guy. Of course a volus would get a delivery route to the most upscale apartments of the ward.
- Have to say I was disappointed by the lack of Tali's face, though I really liked the romance scene nonetheless.
- The apartment's pretty cool too. I'll get around to decking it out later.
- All in all I thought it was the best dlc and, together with the other dlc, the game is finally complete. I wish I would have had the patience to do my first playthrough now because the dlc fills in so many gaps. I had some questions answered by Leviathan, and my squad romance and banter fill (which was sorely needed) in this one. Omega was fun too, as an isolated afterthought
I'd say the dlc (especially the dialogue) was a success. Look forward to seeing more from Bioware in the mass effect universe in the future.

Sure it does. Shepard does eventually need a break, he's on edge and not letting go a little can be harmful in dire situations like what the galaxy is in. It's not like he's wasting days doing nothing, it's an evening (that does eventually have more in store than initially bargained for when Shepard goes on the brief shore leave). Shepard sleeps in the game too, a waste of time?KillTheWiseOne wrote...

Why can't Shepard have ONE night to party? Jeeze guys.....
Because it does not fit with the theme. It would be like making a zombie movie, with a party in the middle that had nothing to do with zombies. Outside everyone is dying, but inside its all jokes, laughing, and singing. Oh, and there are some clones running around for good measure. It does not fit!
It doesn't have to be "find ways to help build the crucible or get more people to fight the reapers" to fit. Besides there's that thing, the crucible, that needs to be built. Until you reach a certain point in the game it's not finished. So when you play this dlc it's still a work in progress, you're kinda there in the galaxy waiting. So... you have time. The galaxy's not going to end in the few hours you spend not inventing some way to save it. The invasion could last a hundred years or more anyways.

The combat was pretty good, and fighting with the characters giving you cover from above was beyond baller.
Clone is basically a throw-away character to highlight what makes the real Shepard so special and why this journey's been so great.
Thanks to the team for this.

I hope you take note from the success (I'm guessing it's a success since I've only heard good things from others) of this dlc for the content of future projects. You took most of the good stuff from the shadow broker dlc (fun missions, dialogue, activities to do after the mission was over) and practically perfected it and added what the fans have been asking for; more dialogue interactions with our favorite characters! It's great to see a whole dlc that's giving you so much dialogue. I would have liked even more content specific to your LI, but I'm pretty sure I'd never think I had enough of it XD.
The humor was also great and made me laugh outloud more than a few times. Felt less heavy than the other dlc and was a breath of fresh air.
It was really bittersweet as you could sort of feel like the characters knew this was their last show too (at least I got that impression).
I plan on playing through it with multible different saves (started the second one right now).
Only thing I wonder about is why Tali didn't get a friendship scene like all the other characters (unless my game bugged and I missed it?). I saw it in the trailer so I'm guessing it only happens if you romance her? Shame for Shepards that wanted to hang out with Tali as a friend. Also extremely sad that you didn't take the opportunity to make Vega romanceable, even if it's just for the dlc (he gets a lot of content in the dlc already, would have been quite easy to make him a bi romance).
Anyway, I understand what you meant by 'All hands on deck for this one' now. It definately shows in a good way and I hope future content from Bioware is like this too

LOVED:
- Seeing the characters interact with each-other and learning more about them.
- Filling out more of the mass effect universe via historical records. Always love learning more about the mass effect universe.
- Varied game-play. The casino and other bits are a nice change in pace.
- Openness in design, with lots of things to do.
- Easter eggs and references abound.
- Great bits of mass effect humor--even the cheesy one liners.
- Great music.
It's all fairly lighthearted, but it feels appropriate for a resolution to some characters that I will sorely miss. I am sure some will criticize the main plot for being a little silly, but it proves to be a blast to play non-the-less and everything surrounding it had me cracking a smile and even a few tears.

The main ending though is still a darn shame. Honestly all they would have to do to make most people happy would be to come up with a BS excuse for shep living and the reapers dying, no matter how stupid the ending would be, it worked for dead space 3( fantastic game).
The bottom line is if you still like the series you will probably like this. If you don't enjoy it anymore than save your money. My opinion is the main mission could have been longer (it wasn't bad though) the party and activities were great but a little awkward since earth along with other planets were being scorched. And as a firm indoctrination theory believer it didn't do it for me.
I still liked it a lot and would personally give 7.4 out of 10 ( would have 10 out of 10 if they fixed the ending though)
edited portion: all the dialouge was pretty good, blasto scene was hilarious, party was great, and all the little references and details were great.

I wanted to like this more. I really did. the squad stuff? Fun. The LI stuff? Good. The whole clone stuff? My Paragon Shepard vs. This Renegade Shepard? Fighting what you could of become? Neat. The other stuff? Alright.
The problem? Hey, guess what...rhymes with "trending"...
...It's in the middle. This is a victory party in the middle of the game. Everything in this feels like an epilogue and quite frankly, it being where it is in the game, I felt it saps the the emotion out of it. Every single time it got an emotion out of me, I remember where this all ends up and that dumps all over it and lessening it. You might say "Well, you could pretend it's an epilogue". It's hard to do that they remind you that the war is still going on.
Basically: Yes, this was made well. As a final farewell? This would of worked way better as an epilogue then a middle of the road, fairly pointless story.
7/10
PS: Yeah, I know you're not gonna do it. Ending hubris and all.

Seriously, BioWare, THIS is what your miserable ending should've been.
In this DLC, we finally get the culmination of what has always been MASS EFFECT's greatest strength and theme: triumph and victory through friendship and diversity.
None of those things are present at the end of the game but they're certainly here. All the way down to Clone Shepard's undoing due to his lack of relationships. This DLC solidifies the idea that Shepard is only part of the equation - and that he/she would be nothing without friends.
I thought it was well-written in that regard. And while it was OVERLY goofy at times, I smiled the entire time. I felt like, after a miserable year of disappointment, this was everything I hoped for. An entertaining, sweet and funny tribute to the characters we've grown to love.
So many things to talk about, but for now I'll just say that this was a mission well accomplished, BioWare. A shame it couldn't have been post-ending where it REALLY would've worked. But you're standing by that Starbrat stuff for whatever reason.
In the meantime, I got to take Shepard on one last adventure and enjoy one hell of a party. It was a blast and, for what it was, I loved it.

Souh, I should buy a DLC just to say the same thing from what I was watching on live stream for past 3 hours ? serius
No... It means you should keep your agenda to yourself or post it in a thread with that subject. You're just adding noise.

And Garrus and FemShep doing the tango. Pure awesome.
On another note, did anyone else on PC have issues with the dialog wheel trying to watch the videos from Thane that Kolyat sends you. When I would click Investigate, it kept automatically choosing the second video. I had to hold down the space bar so I could actually move the mouse to select the other 2 videos. If that's a bug, please fix it, Bioware.
Oh, and thank you Bioware team for the ride. This is by far my favorite video game series. You made me feel like someone punched me in the stomach at the end of vanilla ME3, but with the Extended Cut, the ending I felt best about became possible. So thank you all for the hard work you put into this universe, and I look forward to the future adventures you have in store for us.
