Geth plat is going to be a pain with the bombers.... Really hate those things.
Lookin forward to grinding this out, but something concerned me, in the description it seemed to hint that "the end is near". Is this goin to be the last challenge?

Seriously, how many packs are we supposed to be receiving? 3 commendation and 1 gift? Or 2 commendation and 1 gift? I've only received a gift and 2 commendation (silver & plat extractions). Getting confused by the op description and some peoples posts.

Go back and click the Bioware symbol for this thread. Basically what Bryan says is what actually happens.

Thats because you only did 1 faction, you have 3 more to go

Wait a sec. Can you do Lodestar twice - on Normal and Insanity, or is it one or the other?

You'll get one commendation pack for both challenges. If you do Normal challenge => 1 commendation pack and if you do Insanity challenge after that => one more commendation pack

OR 

You can do Insanity challenge and get both 2 commendation packs at once.

If you go straight to the insanity mode and make it through you propably need a fix to get both packs: http://social.biowar...d_challenge_fix

I'm asking cause i'm accidentally done a gold extraction, and it counted towards Normal. Can I still do Insanity too?

Completing the Lodestar Insanity challenge counts as normal too.

Phew, alright, thanks. Maybe the description should be altered then, you get the gift pack automatically without any extractions. Edit: At least I think I did, can't remember now, maybe I went straight into a game first.

Anyways, not going to go on Plat for a very long time. Gold and Silver is where it's truly at and where a decent balance exists. Plat just reminded me of all the issues with ME3MP. 

My Warlord is crying in the corner after the experience, all those magnet-hand sync kills...

Ugh, never seen so many bombers... Think I used the most missiles there.

They'll miss most of the time then. Afaik it will still go on over the weekend. Just glad I checked here first while downloading Citadel. Saw references to "Lodestar" in the threads then I looked up.

Geth are the answer.

Juggernaut - particle rifle (eliminates ammo box runs) or reegar, melee everything and tank for the team, prime tech burst and fire explosions with Hex Shield, detonate with Siege Pulse and hammer the enemy from long range

Infiltrator - I prefer the Talon but any gun is awesome in his hands, debuff everything with proxy mines (also detonates fire explosions), scout for the team with Hunter Mode

Trooper - GPS for long range punch and stagger, skip hunter mode and act as the team's secondary tank, burn everything the juggernaut locks down

Engineer - full defensive turret spam to keep shield gate up, hunter mode and scout for the team, set off fire explosion with Overload

Just want to add another THANKS!!! to the great team from BioWare we have supporting this game. And Happy Anniversary! Been having some issues with packs lately but the new fix page solves the problem in just a few clicks of the mouse. For once I also didn't understand the packs on this one (I read it as 3 + gift) but that was solved by a little reading (thx . Seriously know how to keep us coming back for more...well except for that great trollstore
