There are two things I would like to see with weapons in DA:I.

first: I would like to see more iconic weapons that aren't swords. The best weapons in practically any game are always one-handed or two-handed swords. There just aren't enough legendary axes or maces.

secondly: I like ranged combat and would love to be able to place runes inside of bows

My Mage would appreciate more Staff design variety as well, thank you. Iconic staves sound good.

Well, we had Veshialle, Reaper's Cudgel, Dragonbone Cleaver, Bloom, Woodman's Ire, etc and etc. Veshialle was as good as starfang, and can atually be slightly better depending on the build. And how can we forget bloom, one of the best 2handed weapons in DA2.

Anyway, I guess the more the merrier. I'd like rune slots in bows as well.
