Everyone freaks out about how the Talon is ruined forever due to a 5 percent damage nerf to Cain mines.

Ah yes, ruined.  Just like the GI, GE, Ghost, Havoc and every Infiltrator ever were ruined and rendered unusable above Silver by the the legendary nerfs rendered against them.  

Ruined.  I do not think this word means what you think it means.


yeah, i doubt it will be ruined. However, if it were up to a chosen few posters, she would be (calling for significant nerfs to all aspects of RM)

Havoc was kind of ruined by the stim nerf. Even with the recent Havoc Strike buffs, I don't think he's nearly as good as he was initially, and he wasn't exactly a beast back then either.

I get the feeling those who don't see what's the deal with the AIU don't really understand what "shieldgate" means.

Too bad it will probably be a meaningless and insignificant nerf, just like the stim pack one.

yep, i've already re-spec'd in preparation and the new build is way better.  RM isn't even needed with this kit if you're a half decent player.

Considering the OP is so happy that the Repair Matrix will be nerfed I'm going to guess that he gets topped a lot by this awesome kit while he doesn't even want to put some effort and taste the awesomeness of the kit. But well, there will always be people that just wont stop crying about something. I still can't realise why people want this nerf so much. It doesn't harm you in ANY way.. actually it's exactly the oposite, it makes the game a little bit easier for the team as a whole.

you can't do this without a patch.  it will likely be a duration nerf.

huntermode isn't needed... doesn't mean you'd not be crazy not to take the immense speed bonus and decent DR

Not sure if that's possible without patching unfortunately.

I'm hoping its a significant nerf to duration and capacity... I reckon it'll be a nerf to its passives instead...

And people will still claim its ruined...:lol:

OP is one of the better players on BSN so highly doubtful.

passives nerf would be a curve ball... so odd...

her passives are pretty standard.

I don't see how  a capacity nerf would work... considering she can only get a maximum of what.... 3 grenades?

1) Nerf will be something insignificant and probably just the duration down to 10 seconds at most
2) Auto-revive will remain, which is what people consider the biggest "noob" affect it has.
3) The class will still be amazing, since it's perfectly kickass without the repair matrix
4) Even with a full powered matrix nerf, the class doesn't outmuscle the TGI in terms of DPS since a Harrier/Lancer can shoot across a map with little damage reduction. Shotguns do not have that benefit.

Havoc is beast now. He never suffered from that stim pack nerf in the 1st place. People merely used him as a scapegoat to complain about infiltrators 

He plain sucked before. Now hes actually worth playing. Previously, you never saw anyone playing him. Now when I see a turian its usually him rather than the TGI

Thats my experience

(note- I usually stick to Gold-, only run platnuim occasionally with friends. So not talking bout u/u/p)

Ruined? Typical. You think RM is what makes this character great? No. RM is what made her ****ing broken. She's still going to be a great character, the only difference? She probably won't be able to ''hurrdurr I'm going to stand in the middle of enemy spawn because I can revive as much as I please''

qft on all accounts

a 10 second duration is fair with the option to extend it to 15.

the only shotgun that can match distance is the crusader, and most people can't or don't want to aim it

huntermode isn't needed... doesn't mean you'd not be crazy not to take the immense speed bonus and decent DR

i don't really think you can compare the two even though they're both Infiltrators.  also, Huntermode increases damage done to player...

anyway, you don't need more than 3 point in RM.  use it for Insta-Rez as that's all it's good for anyway.

I don't see a variable for it in the game files so I doubt they can reduce it without a patch.

Makes sense that if it's something you don't intend to change that you just hardcode it in.

RNG revival would be pretty annoying, but I have this thing about staying alive being based off RNG(not that I actually need the medi-gel part of RM with that shield regen).

Even if they nerfed Repair Matrix to oblivion (which they won't), she still has Tactical Cloak and Snap Freeze so whatever.

Yeah, I'm a noob, you guessed it.

It has nothing to do with the kit being brokenly OP; a baby-crutch that I don't find myself requiring.

The only infiltrator I play is QFI with predator.
