Thats thanks to all the idiots who asked for the nerfs, great another class ruined.
Red John deserves some credit.
What has he to do with it?

This could be a good thing. It is currently a little overkill. But I doubt they'll hit it right first time. It'll be either stim-level, which is basically nothing, or krysae-level, which obliterates any reason to take that class at all.

I'd argue that the Demolisher was pretty close to ruined by her nerfs....

The GI is also surprisingly tanky, especially if you stick pretty much any cyclonic on him. Admittedly, he`s not as tanky as the TGI or the AIU, but he is arguably as tanky as the GE, with MUCH higher damage potential. I do wish that more than anything else people would STOP JUSTIFIYING BROKEN KITS WITH OTHER BROKEN KITS. Yes, the GI, TGI and AIU are BROKEN. STOP JUSTIFING EACH ONE WITH THE EXISTENCE OF THE OTHERS.Annomander wrote...

Yes I know she's insanely powerful (I easily top charts in plat with her) when used to her full potential, but apart from insta-res she doesn't have much more going for her than the TGI or GI, which are also insanely powerful.
instant-revive is a pretty big deal =P
The TGI and AIU are overpowered though because they have both top notch damage output as well as top notch survivability.
Compare that to the Kroguard who has top notch survivability but only top notch damage output with a specific weapon(which this is more the weapon's fault than the Kroguard's).
Agreed. Tanky characters should need to sacrifice something for their tanking abilties. The TGI and AIU get to have their cake and eat it; a luxury a lot of other kits cannot enjoy.

Do you know how I got used to gold?
By not being terrible, that's how.
Graal spike thrower I with extended barrel III and spare ammo clip I on a krogan soldier and off I went.
The answer to not being good enough to play gold is not to dumb the game down and babysit terrible players, the answer is to become better at the game.
krogan vanguard + geth + reegar
AIU is hardly babysitting
It is. Part of the learning curve of gold is knowing your limitations. A kit which has virtually no fear of dying as it gets right back up again is the definition of babysitting. Kroguard never dying and killing / moving slowly, is just the same as dying and getting right back up again as if nothing had actually happened whilst killing much quicker and moving much quicker.

It's funny, but for me, gold was all about gaining the confidence to play aggressivly. I actually had a capture of myself when I first started playing gold, and I watched it. I was constantly in cover just popping up to cast or shoot. I didn't die the whole match, but ended up only making 46k.
now i may get dropped a couple times a match, but my score will be within 20k of top, if not top with good players and much higher in most pugs. When I first went into gold, i was so worried about getting dropped that I thought it was better to contribute less as long as i didn't die.
It completly goes against what all you guys say, but I didn't get gold viable until i stopped worrying about dieing.
