Honestly I don't know why most AIUs even bother with snap freeze...

When you can one-or-two-shot anything in the fricken game with your claymore, why would you even need to run around spamming "vanilla frosting blast" at the enemy every three seconds, the way most people play the AIU?

This, and, you know, you can shoot Snap freeze and the claymore right after and still get the cloak bonus on both, plus the debuff and CC capability?121andrew wrote...
I thought that Snap Freeze, and other cold-related powers debuff armour.

Sometimes it means the difference between being able to kill a Ravager in two shots, or being able to kill a Ravager in one shot. More efficient.
However, if there are biotics on the team, DON'T SPAM SNAP FREEZE AS FAST AS YOU CAN because all they'll be able to do is detonate cryo explosions, and it would be much better for everyone if you let them prime and detonate the more powerful biotic ones.

Extra lulz if someone on your team is using a detonator.
And to Andrew, it doesn't 'debuff' armor, it weakens armor, which is quite different and the same effect can be gotten with armor piercing mods and ammo.
The actual debuff is a 10% damage multiplier to all targets, and it's in evo 5b. The armor weakening evo is in 6a.

Also, because you don't need all that fitness for you simply can't die.

Not to sound stupid, but what is debuff supposed to mean then?
I know in the literal sense it can mean to strip an enemy of any "buffs" it has, but I've heard it used on these forums as "armour debuffing" before.
EDIT: You just edited your post and then used the word "debuff" in the same sense that I was. What?

It's the opposite of a buff. i.e. something that makes the enemy weaker.

I'll say this though, she's one of the toughest characters to spec I've come across. Lots of good choices. Kinda wish she wasn't shunted into shotgun damage for R6 Cloak. She'd be a fun sniper bouncing backwards all the time.
Actually she's just fun to bounce around with flat out.

Not to mention it's a horribly good primer. I'll run my Paladin just snap freezing everything while my buddy with his demolisher detonates the crowd with grenades. If you have any power users in the game at all, there will be cryo explosions left and right.121andrew wrote...

Which basically means saying "to debuff armour" is the same as "to weaken armour".....

That's two shots (TC damage + extra shotgun damage) -> SF (TC damage) -> another two shots (TC damage + SF debuff).
Works for claymore too.
Snap freeze is cooool like that.

If you're not using a 6/6/6/6/0 build, you're missing out.
srs...
plus a cloaked claymore shot with consumables does + headshot damage + all weapon bonuses overkills more than half of th enemies by several thousand points of damage....
I don't understand this efficiency

Yeah, I'm not writing very clearly, just woke up, sorry. Of course we're talking about video game slang, so there's technically not a 'correct' form.
When I said it doesn't debuff armor, well that's not true, what I meant was it doesn't debuff ONLY armor, it debuffs armor just as much as it debuffs shields and health. Of course the debuff works on everything.
I have some seen some confusion in other threads from people thinking the armor weakening in evo 6a was the all-important debuff, when it's actually 5b because 6a barely matters (for that purpose) if you're using a heavy barrel and drill rounds (for example).
I mean, when I use the AIU, I spray Snap Freeze at everything. Really, everything. I just can't stop myself.
Wanna know a secret though? I don't even take the debuff. I prefer the 35% movement speed reduction.

You don't even need health for platinum, much less any other level.
