Honestly I don't know why most AIUs even bother with snap freeze...

You know, I would bet $5 all the people saying "zero fitness" is the reason the AIU can be consistently found bleeding out on the ground in pugs.

>AIU
>Bleeding out

Pick one.

You could give people a playable Banshee with teleport, barrier regen, and actual sync kills and they would still find a way to die with it.

Seeing as her melee build is extremely powerful I'd say hell no.

When you can one-or-two-shot anything in the fricken game with your claymore, why would you even need to run around spamming "vanilla frosting blast" at the enemy every three seconds, the way most people play the AIU?

On plat (giant) there were two of us EDI bots.
One asari. One demolisher.
We frosted, the asari used her biotics.
Mass explosions everywhere.
Slowed movement speeds.
Most times some one got grabed, they didn't die.
Probably because of all the constant different types of detonations going on with the different primes via skills and amo. Staggering the foe. (the frosting is a prime for detonations, cryo explosions. You can hit more then one target with snapfreeze)

On another plat (boxing plat)
My freeze usually kept things from humping other players.
Frosting; fall over.
Shoot, or double frosting=death.
No worries there.
Also, frosting banshees and brutes= Cryo explosions, no thanks to other players, or my ammo.

I've managed to get a few chain cryo explosions when paired up with the right teams mates too.
You can't always take things out in one hit with a shotty, the snap freeze is more useful for keeping out of sticky situations... Is what I've found. (via detonations)

That frosting has been a bit of a life saver when I am reloading.
Being harased by cluster, outside, near walls, whereever, bump off a freeze, reload. Maybe move a bit to the left/right. Ready for next shot.

There is always the littels things that keep me in support of frosting.
Pick ups + Staggers/frozen targets
A buddy drops, is in a swarm of things; frosting! You're up bro, go!
Gave me just enough time to get your but up.

Probably because one of her skills is literally useless. I'll give you a hint, it isn't RM, TC, SF, or her passive.

If you're using a claymore, you could be reload hiding it with snap freeze to boost your damage output. It also debuffs enemies by 10% and weakens armor. Leaving it at rank 5 works fine. Skipping it is gimping your AIU.

Multiple targets. Not so sucky.

The freeze is great, its like the GI's proxy mine, staggers and weakens enemies before you lay into them with the good stuff. Dont worry about a nerf, if you can use an infiltrator you can cheese it with GI still. Or even the TGI if your feeling super lazy.

Lol.

You obviously have no idea about this game. Snap Freeze is one of the best powers and you can spam it every 3 seconds. And you skip it.

.. Detonator.

The explosion is centered on yourself.

If there IS a way to get off snap freeze AND attack before the cloak ends (without passing up the shotgun damage cloak evolution in favor of bonus power)) then none of the AIU's I've spectated know that one. They cast Snap Freeze, the cloak wears off halfway through the animation, they fire their shotgun afterwards and have time (and apparently necessity) to recast snap freeze two, three, four more times before they manage to kill a single ravager. I have had to sit and watch a bunch of these cake-decorators (the new official term for anyone who swears by snap-freeze) and it was just painful how ineffective it was compared to stacked gun buffs and robo-kicks.

And if FITNESS is what you're making your neglected skill, let me tell you what you're missing:

In the time it takes you to cast snap freeze two or three times to kill that cluster of cannibals, I could have already kicked each and every one of them to death individually already. Her basic melee does almost as much damage as her heavy, fires off quickly, tracks targets well, has great staggering force, and can be chained indefinitely. Whenever my boosted claymore shots leave something with less than a third of their armor left, I usually just run up and give it a few rapid-fire kicks to finish it off.

I'm telling you, you cake decorators are missing out on this cannon-toting robo-ninja goodness. I mean if all you want to do is frost cakes and ignore your cloaking and butt-kicking abilities, you could just be the Paladin. You'd get a shield and Energy Drain, that way, and not use up every single grenade on the map trying to get through the first group of enemies you encounter.

You are assuming people use snap freeze as a damaging power....
