I was messing around with the toolset and I saw in a dialogue between your PC and Loghain - if you want to tell him about Morrigan's proposal) that you can tell him
"We have become friends, haven't we?" (or something like that)
and his reply will depend on his approval status - in particular, he will say something specific if he is "Friendly".
I know you can reach +99 (or 100, I don't remember) approval by talking to him, giving him all "his" gifts and stuff, but his status remained "Warm" when I did even with maximum approval - I thought it was impossible to become "friends" so I was surprised to see that one could actually do that.
Now I'm wondering if there is a way to find what events/gifts etc. will trigger one of the status in the game...
Is there a way to know, using the Toolset, what do you have to do to trigger the different statuses with the various party members?
"Friendly" status (SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!) - do you know how to find the triggers?

The plot script for approval has the scores you need to get for each status. I don't think Logain's is any different to the others. However, the other place to check is his conversation to see if a particular dialogue branch is required to actually get to friendly rather thna just a high approval rating.

Thank you! I found the approval scores needed for everyone.
I saw that in the scripting comments to some dialogue sentences it is usually said when something sets someone to "friendly" or "friendly_eligible", but if I want to find the actual conversations/events that triggers the changes in approval, do I need to browse through all of them?
And where can I modify them? For example if I want someone to become "Hostile" instead of Friendly when asked a particular question... (because it is possible... isn't it?)
Sorry if I ask such stupid questions!!! I'm a total n00b - as you've probably guessed ^^

Has anyone found out anything about this? I, too, would like to know if it's possible to reach "friendly" status with Loghain in vanilla game.
If the answer is yes, then it's time to go and update the walkthroughs. If it's been intended and cut, perhaps I(or someone else) can make it into a mod.
