I'm pretty sure you don't need to be alive to extract, I completed geth after being phantomed but two juggernauts extracted

Skill level: Usually 2nd or 3rd scorer on Gold, can hold my own. Already extracted Plat Cerberus, Geth, Reaper, but having a hell of a time with Collectors. Just cant seems to beat them Praetorians!
Kits: I dont really have a favorite kit, I like to just pick one that seems to match my consumables and see how I do. Feel free to tell me which kit to play to best compliment the rest of the team against collectors. I find myself gravitating toward TurSol, or Geth Trooper a lot on higher difficulties. But on gold-reapers or silver, ill pretty much use whatever I feel like.
Mic: Yup, i got one. I can also skype (usn = forum name)
Weapons: I dont have many higher level weapons
Consumables: 5 Rockets, 3 Ops, 3 MediGel, 5 Ammo. I dont mind using these at all.

If you are asking if it's the last weekend op that Bioware will be doing, I don't think we know. I haven't seen anything stating one way or the other.

Dont think so.

Thinks this operation is because teh game has been out for a year (thats why the objectives are cake)

 I'm a competent silver/adequate gold player, jest promoted my 2 strongest classes, infiltrator and soldier, but playing as a Turian sentinel with assault rifle or can play basic quarian engineer as well (both at level 20).

Need help with the plats. Tried yesterday on a pug and actually came pretty close (did much better than I expected to) but I got stuck clutching after the 10th wave objective and we totally crashed after that.

Xbox - millahnna
Regular Silver/Gold (I'm excellent on silver, gold I need one solid teammate or it could get dicey. I've been able to clutch a gold wave few times and I've totally fallen flat on my face)
Pacific Standard Time (or UTC -8)
Have a mic, maxed clips and rockets, enough gels and ops packs to get through a few matches (50ish each I think)
Fav kit - currently most comfortable with a Raider carrying Huntress.. She's specced for melee but of course I don't actually use it that often. Regular max damage spec on her 3 powers. I do fairly well with the human infiltrator, human engineer, demolisher and asariguard as well. I'm not as solid with the AIU yet. I have some sentinels I'm very comfy with but they were promoted and not leveled up yet.

EDIT: Regarding not needing to be alive to extract.  I'm not certain that is correct.  I was downed at extraction and my squad got a partial on a silver or gold cerberus game and it definitely did not count towards the normal challenge.  Maybe they made it different for the plat part?
