Yeah, I was playing after the coup (I had no saves, so I just did a straight narrative-difficulty bum rush of the coup with a new game).

I had Steve (I met him at Afterlife), Sam (we played chess), and Garrus (we shot bottles) show up on the strip after finishing the mission. In the apartment, I had Kaidan (we did lunch), James (we had the N7 chat), and EDI (I guess her prompt is talking to her at Afterlife?) able to be invited up right after. (I got messages from all of them IIRC.)

I didn't see Liara anywhere (I'm pretty sure I already talked to her on the Presidium). And since this was a no-import game, nearly everyone else is dead by default. :-)

I didn't keep playing, so maybe some of the other content unlocks later, I suppose.

Well, before things go out of hands:

a) I think it's possible to invite Ash for the party. Check.
I'm wondering if it's possible to invite Ash for the private meeting. Is there ANY private meeting for any characters?
c) In case SOME characters get private meetings - who and why not Ash?

From what I was reading in the other thread, it seems like it might also be tied to who else you've talked to. So maybe the player needs to make sure they've made the rounds with enough people for new conversations to open?

I havn't seen any E-mail for private invite to bring up Ashley. I only seen the bar scene for Ashley, but no private call up. I seem them for Miranda, Vega ,Samantha, EDI, Liara, Samara, Cortez, Jack & Tali. Everyone else takes place around the other spots on the citadel.

Miranda, who apparerently I couldn't invite until after that mission on horizon, which hasn't been done,
Jack, who I forgot to save and her mission expired.

and of course Mordin, Legion and Thane who are all canon-killed,

I've been unable to invite Ashley, Garrus or Jack and my save is right before cronos station.

It seems that the invites are staggered out. Remember this is available right after the Cerberus attack so that you would come back every now and then. Idk if you need to return to Normandy to move it along or do a mission to trigger. If someone from Bioware can answer and clear this up, please do so.

I think its just one of those timed fights, I just pushed her toward the opening and waited it out and just bashing her with biotics, her armour keeps replenishing till just the right time.

I got new emails everytime I left the apartment, did something then came back to new emails. Garrus is one of the first, as was kaidan(romanced). haven't seen a Kaidan one yet with tge garrus romance tho.

Every time you go back you get more emails asking for meetups. But not all of them show up on the map for me. For example Joker at the bar I found by accident, and I'm glad I did, because it was the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Well she's pratically mute in the vanilla game.  Why should the dlc be any different?

Closhep has medi-gel. you have to keep bringing down his health until he uses up his medi-gel. There is a counter to tell you how much he has remaining. He/she is suppose to be you after all.
