Any tips for outfitting the Juggernaut weapon-wise?

I tried the Harrier but it seems to burn ammo so quick, resulting in the slow behemoth needing a good time to haul itself to the next box. I also gave the PPR a run, but it tends to leave too much down-time in a platinum match.

I haven't unlocked any of the new weapons yet, unfortunately.

I'm currently using the PPR on my melee jug. Never have to worry about trying to reach a crate. :)

PPR for the same don't ever need to have to go to a crate answer. Ran the Typhoon without much issue as well.

PPR or Lancer or spitfire or typhoon.. Reegar might work ok as a sidearm

Typhoon is nice, it has sustained DPS and plenty of Ammo. Your passives make it very stable.

PPR
Typhoon
Spitfire

with lolReegar as side arm, or a piranha. I personally use the spitefire just because of the amount of ammo, combined with incendiary rounds and someone detonating Fire Explosions

Haven't tried the lancer on him as mine is only lv 1

How are you playing? Are you drain-tanking your way to success, mid-range don't know what do doing it, or long range support with siege pulses and a javelin?

Drain-tanking, take a shotgun and an SMG/Pistol for backup. I had success pumping a piranha point blank into things but that's like saying I had success cutting butter with a hot knife.

Mid-range, play something else effective at mid-range. =/

Long range, like I said, Javelin + Backup wep. Really fun as a long range support platform. You're tall, the Javelin can fire through walls, you get the geth dmg boost if you took it, and it works out well if you're making those headshots. Tap out some siege pulses to back it up, yar. Have yet to try this with a Krysae but the long range AoE potential could be neat... probably not but... maybe?

I don't have Geth Yogurt, but I saw once a Juggie with Javelin and Reegar. The dude skipped hex shield and was very effective on platinum, he was always scoring about 120-150k points, which is IMHO very nice for such a defensive character.

I like the Crusader on him, assuming that you can handle it and if you have it at a decent level. Ammo can be an issue: I also gave him a Heavy Pistol (Scorpion, actually).
The damage of the Crusader (X) is ~800 (Black Widow: 920 at X). You can support your allies from afar and you also have a great stopping power at short range.
In fact, I don't think the Jug is really made for sustained fire... I felt the need to do a lot of damage, for a variety of situations, quickly.

If you're pugging on platinum, then it's quite possible that we've already met. I'm playing mostly as TGI or GI, Origin ID - IgnacM991 :)
I saw this Juggernaut on Rio, we also had volus in our team. We've also extracted without bigger problems several times.

My Typhoon didn't do enough damage, possibly due to long range inaccuracy without cover stability.

Revenent, again too weak.

Tried the PPR, but I'm not really a fan of it. I find that it takes far too long to kill weaker enemies while you wait for it to charge up. Might be better on boss-heavy platinum, but down on Gold it doesn't work for me.

My Lancer's only rank I, but it worked a LOT better than anything else. I recommend that when you get it.

Until then... Revenent was second best. Maybe try the Indra or Collector Sniper Rifle. Perhaps the Hurricane would work with the Juggernaut's passive stability.
