I read most of this thread before I actually saw the scene for myself. Expected the worse but didn't think it was as bad as some of the people in here believe it to be. /shrug I'll agree with the op it was pretty cute.

I don't want ME4. Devs, movie studios - they don't know how ot leave a trilogy alone. They always insist on trying to make a 4th one, and it never turns out well.

I don't want Tali in ME4 or anyone of the past games if Shepard doesn't come back, showing a Tali that has moved on without Shepard would be a hit in the gut for the people that romanced her.

I stated below your post what I meant but I also want to add that a few of these comments are just straight up rude, Tali is voiced by a actual person with feelings. Saying the scene was creepy and should of had a interrupt choice is kinda harsh, I understand if a Talimancer didn't like the scene but a few of these comments make it seem they thought Tali herself was creepy and embarrassing and that makes me wonder how much they actually like the character.
Cheesy and awkward is alright, creepy and I wanted to make her stop don't seem very good.

Oh yeah for sure, I agree with you here. Different takes on the scene are perfectly fine but some people should express themselves without being so hostile. I'm sure they're just trying to be funny but it's just antagonizing those who did like the scene. 

Well I'm a Talimancer and I don't like the scene. It was cute, but for the last personal scene that Shepard and Tali is going to share I wanted something more serious and was left a bit dissappointed with what we got. And yeah I did find it a bit cringe worthy, but Tali embarassed herself a lot in ME2 as well, can't say it's out of character. Like I stated previously I would have been fine with Tali singing to Shepard if there was more to the scene than that but oh well.

Well isn't that interesting. Because at the party Garrus and Tali make fun of humans and asaris because of their legs. Jerks 

Naturally I've always assumed quarians to be good dancers because Tali says dancers are held in high regard in her culture.

Agreed.  Shepard is what brought these character together and was how we got to know them.  If Shepard is done, then the rest of the crew is, too.

Eh, I beg to differ.  Halo Reach and Halo 4

 I dunno about those examples, a lot of people would argue that Reach and H4 are horrible.  I actually liked H4 a lot though so. 

I want ME4, even if it's just out of curiousity what else they would do with the universe. But I definitely don't want any connections between our trilogy and the next game, especially not bringing over our characters. Keep it seperate please.

I don't remember that. Tali did say however that dancers were highly respected among her people (if you take her to Chora's Den in ME1).

The truth of the matter is, however, that there's only two dancing animations: one for male squad mates, and one for females. I know because I did that bit with everyone, just for the lulz (and Tali may be the better dancer, but taking Wrex to the casino is just hilarious).

EDIT: I want Mass Effect 4: The Search for Shepard, with Tali as the protagonist.

Well this is where we differ.

I saw the entire DLC as having a lot of really good Tali moments, some serious, many funny. The Fleet and Flotilla scene was cute and silly, yes, but it was a small part out of a huge portion of her content. This DLC was not meant to be a "serious" DLC with your LI.

Just look at all the content. All the LI's were more playful, and less serious about the romance during the whole DLC. Everyone was having fun and enjoying themselves. The last scene with Tali is the Normandy gazing scene. That was the best way to end this DLC, and it ended with a serious note, that this is the last adventure with Shepard and Tali.

I just think the criticisms for the Fleet and Flotilla scene are way too harsh, especially on Liz Sroka's singing.

If you don't like it, oh well, I'm not going to change your mind. I'm just glad I can enjoy it for what it is; another cute moment with Tali'Zorah.

I see where you're coming from but look at it this way: for anyone playing the game through start to finish it's *not* the last Tali LI scene. If it's epic romance you're looking for there's plenty o' that in the "before TIM base" scene, then the final goodbye, then the Normandy evac scene. I really felt like Citadel DLC was an opportunity to get to know *her* more, not an opportunity to establish the legendary Tali/Shepard romance more.

I feel the scene accomplished that. I know her better, and having been in this situation before, I can honestly say it's a very intimate scene that shows her mind-boggling comfort level around Shepard.

Trust me when it started I was in full panic mode. "Wait what is she doing? Oh no is Shepard going to sing too? Wait! Waiiiit!" But by the end I had the same look that Shepard did. "Girl you are crazy adorable."

Do it really be so crucial though? The writers attempted to be cute and failed. It was awkward all right, and weird, but in a horrible way. Frankly speaking, that scene was one of the most embarrassing things I've seen in my life. Sh*t was bad fanfic.
