I wouldn't say that's true. When it comes to stopping the blight they do what needs to be done, however when there is no blight I seriously doubt they are walking around do whatever they want to do.

good as being kind humble helpfull.
evil as in selffish arogant bloodthirsty.

Then mostly inbetween. While being polite and diplomatic.

In between, usually. Playing good or evil is usually pretty boring. I RP and react to situations as needed. Sometimes I go out of my way to do something right, sometimes I take the shortcut and put out extra hurt.. I find it, for me, unrealistic to play a paragon of virtue or a cackling villian.

Well as far as DAO goes I try to play from the perspective of the origins character, eg the human noble chivalous but also with a vandetta against Howe and the betrayel of the values he holds/held dear. The dalish did;t like humans - would you after they ended your culture and imortality and tried to foist there beliefs on you. The elf mage more tolerant as saved from the alianage and treat kindly by the first enchanter had a different take on the world.



Remember you are a Grey Warden not a paladin.
