Have tried it all, and yes, I have seen the sticky. Still can't open .erf files. All I get is a splitsecond of a cmd window popping up and then nothing.
How the hell am I supposed to mod something if I can't even open the files? There has to be a way, existing mods prove it.
Can't open .erf files

Found out they are encrypted. Now, the funny thing is I once already had modded DAII in the way I want to now again and I have no idea how I made it work then.
Help please?
So far I have reread that I have to crack the .erf encryption with a tool named "slurpda.exe", though I don't find it anyway (which has probably to do with it enabling piracy and all that).
Can some modder help me out here please?

Well, nevermind. As long as I use decrypted files from modders (just taking the evolve with level up mods, duh) I can change most of the things I want.
Guess that was also the solution back then (damn you forum for not letting me see old topics from myself so I could have backtracked my own solutions!!!).

I'm pretty sure you can extra the contents of an .erf using the editor...
If this is DLC content i don't even think using tools to unencrypt them is even legal...

I can from the main game. But DLC .erf s are encrypted. But anyway, I simply got the decrypted files from a mod (that makes them all level up with you) so I can use those to change to my hearts content.
