i dont know nor care if its bin asked befor:
what is your favorite class and race and why?

i only when true 2 compleet play true's.
both mage sins roge and warrior simple dont interested me(in any game for that mather)
first 1 i was arcane warrior nice play true second i was spirit healer and blood mage(needed blood cause i keep running out of leryium potions)tho both play true's are almost idetical the only diffrunts i can come up with is that in playtrue 1 anaroa was queen en logian replace alistar the second i kill logian i first let alistar do it but then anora wouldnt marry him so i head to reload run to the throne(logian cant get there and his bow does laughibol dmg) and kill him again then get jelled at for making him king?
anyway what is your favorite class and race and why.

I find it difficult to have a favorite race / class as I'm just enjoying the Dragonage experience, and as part of this I'm playing all the origin stories, which for the most part means a lot of different classes and races.



I'm on my fourth playthrough now and so far I would say my favorite character was my Human-Noble sword and shield warrior. I liked this character and combination the best mostly because he was the most fun to play. I took the same party with me for the whole of the story (Leliana, Morrigan, Sten), from Lothering at least.



However I've always had a penchant for elves, but in DA;O their racial statistics lend better towards mages than anything else!



...on a side note, my favorite origin story (though I haven't played the Dwarvern Noble one yet) has to be the Dalish elf story...

I don't really have a favourite, although I'm not a big fan of the dwarfs. Favourite class is warrior or arcane warrior. I like being up close to the enemies in massive armour and messing **** up. Regular mages just look so puny and incapable of leading.

Human Noble DW Warrior. I love the AoE and acting like a very pissed off Knight hell bent on Revenge.

Playing as a human mage (Blood Mage + Arcane Warrior). Nothing makes me happier than seeing somebody explode from Walking Bomb and draining my companions of their health when I go overboard with spells.

Elven Mage: AW/SH

Elven or Dwarven Rogue (DW): Assassin/Bard

Human or Elven Warrior (DW): Berserker/Templar

City Elf DW Assassin Rogue. In part for my pack-rat/lock-picker obsession, and in part because she just rips targets up. I imagine Dualist will make it even better when I finally get it unlocked. Origin due to the intensity of the story.



Next in line Human Noble SnS Warrior (though getting tempted to try a DW one) for pretty much the same reasons sans the lock-picking. (Though I physically flinch when I see a door/chest I can't open)

DW Dwarf Noble Warrior, Berserker speced. Love charging into battle with shale and my dog or Oghren and just going ape**** on a mob. Dual Swipe, Punisher, Shale quakes, Dog Howls or Oghren goes berserk as well.

Dwarf noble shield and hammer warrior

Just started a female City Elf duel-wield warrior and WOW, is she a monster. That origin story is pretty horrific, too. It's definitely made me put more character into choosing dialogue options. She is one angry elven ****.



Male human noble sword and board warrior was fun, but kinda boring. And I'm not really enjoying my male Dwarf Commoner rogue duelist.



Now, female Arcane Warrior was probably my most fun so far. Nothing beats Cone of Cold + Virulent Walking Bomb and a grenade or two. Beastly.

Elf, Rogue. Being a downtrodden minority is a great excuse to be hostile to anyone you want. Still can't take Dorf seriously enough to get past Ostagar.

My favorite so far has been my sword and shield human noble. Im not sure why, but its the funnest i have had so far, i have already played that type of character twice. So amazing.



Though i also like my human blood mage and my dalish rogue duelist that dual weilds. they are pretty awesome.

Im enjoying the DW Warrior Elf (Templar/Berserk) - City Elf Origin too, starting off by killing the kings son is so bad ass lol.

Tough call as I enjoyed all the origin stories so vwery much.



Human noble s&s shamp/temp although not as powerfull as my elven mage/aw I found really enjoyable and fun, this might be because the warrior was my first play through or just needed more thought than freeze/sleep nuke.



favorite story line just had to be the dwarf noble can't decide either to strangle or applaud the double crossing back stabbing brother.



Presently trying a DW/archer dalish may try and unlock duelist this play through.

English isn't everyone's primary language that posts here.

As for the topic... I can't say that I have a favorite race. class wise it's probably the rogue.
