Favourite origin is female city elf, hands down. Rogue is easier for me to play as not opening doors/chests/being able to do all the quests severely challenges the OCD monster in me. Even if the stupid chest just has one lonely elfroot, it must be opened.
what is your favorite class and race

Female Dalish Rogue Ranger/Bard
Elves are pretty cool, just a matter of preference
Ranger has been amazingly helpful with my archer class
Bard for the extra buffs

So far my city elf rogue dual-wielding daggers has been my favorite. Though I have yet to do a playthrough with a mage. I also always lean towards elves in fantasy games, but dwarves come in a close second, I love their origin stories.

Human Noble 2h warrior! Every hit just has so much inertia behind it. And humans are cool.

Having played through at least once with every class now, I'd say I had the most fun with a DW rogue. Stealth is a blast and their DPS is truly disgusting. With an optimized build (dagger/dagger CUN) you simply mow everything down.
Mage is a close second. The Entropy and Spirit spells are great.
Warriors are frankly kind of boring. They have no utility and no "fun" talents. Every level just feels like you're getting slightly better at smacking things and/or taking hits.

Favorite Race: Human (I don't like dwarves and really hate elves, especially dalish ones in Dragon Age)
Favorite class: Mage (Especially loving my new druidic project, even I cheated big time Shapeshifter/Spirit Healer combo is too much fun.)

I had planned on playing a dwarf when I got the game. I didn't know what to expect and I WAS going to start with a commoner because I assumed the noble was going to be snobby or self important. I had read somewhere that even the devs were fond of the noble storyline, feeling it was one of their best origins, so I changed my mind and gave it a try. My god, I fell in love. I love the commoner, too, but dwarf noble is hands down, my favorite. Played that origin twice already.

Human Noble warrior any flavor second choice the Dwarf Noble warrior, any flavor as well... these 2 have the best origin stories by far, so unfortunate that the others are so forgettable. Elf mage when I play one. Least favorite origin, Dalish, yawn.

Uhm... so far out of five playthroughs i had the most fun with my dalish ranger/duelist ... i think. Also with my dwarf commoner assassin/bard but it's was too much overpowered to enjoy.

Human Mage - Arcane warrior / Blood Mage... it's like a god in the game... i've been able to finish (expet for the quests in which u have to take one of yours party's member) the game alone... only with my Mage... dying only 4 times...

Favourite race has to be the dalish elves. Not the miserable city ones. Bah.
Fav class is definitely mage (Blood Mage/Spirit Healer).

My favorite race would have to be elves. I'm a sucker for elves, especially the forest-dwelling kinds (hence my love for the Dalish
).
As for class, as much as I liked shield pummeling and shield bashing darkspawn butt with my sword and shield Dalish Elf Warrior, I had a lot of fun with my DW Human Noble Rogue, especially after I got the Ranger specialization (loved having a big bear ready to chomp down on the baddies!). And the ability to lockpick and detect traps are really useful.
I also liked playing as a mage. I really enjoyed using spells under the Spirit category like Walking Bomb, Virulent Walking Bomb, Death Syphon and Animate Dead.

Without a doubt, humans take the race cake. As for class, I'd have to say warrior...Two-hand for the powerful feeling it gives me.

My favorite class is mage; I also like playing as a rogue (especially in Awakening with Flicker and Heartseeker). For some reason, caster classes have always been my favorite in any video game, even though I do try all of the classes with an open mind. In World of Warcraft, I've played warrior for about ten or so levels until I quit playing that lass, played rogue until about level 20 or higher, yet, and a pally stuck at 83. It's probably just coincidence that I can't get into the warrior class even in Dragon Age. I do want to make one and beat the game with it; it just hasn't happened yet. My favorite race is elf, but I honestly don't know why. This may sound dumb to everyone, but ever since I played Dragon Age II for the first time, I could not make another human mage just because I don't like the Amell/Hawke family. My favorite origins stories are (as a female): 1) Mage, 2) City Elf, 3) Dwarf Noble.

Well the ones I play the most are Human Noble sword and shield warrior (champion/templar), Dwarf commoner 2 handed warrior (berserker), and city elf dw rogue(assasin), Have one Dwarf Noble axe and shield warrior and that was pretty fun so I will probably doing more of those in the future for some reason it feels different from the human sword and shield warrior (btw I never equip dwarves with swords, it is always axes, maces, or mauls with dwarves)
