Yeah i remember it was a human male soldier on giant. vs cerberus Dropped the mantis and kept the avenger 1 and specced for concussive shot from single player habits. Went very well and i never bothered with AR for some time.

Human engineer on white, first day the demo came out. The whole team wiped on wave 1.

Actually I do remember. My first match was solo.  Demo, Firebase White, Cerberus, Bronze. The first thing I did was run to the camping area that eventually became so popular. Think I made it to wave 3 or 4 before I got rocked.

Only thing I don't remember was the character I used. Want to say it was the soldier with the avenger, but it may have been the engineer.

I'm not sure I remember a Gold match on Reactor but I think it was some days after the initiation.
I know my first match was on Reactor. I know it was was the human engineer.
I think I tried a solo first, to get the the ropes of it and not completely blame myself in a public game. Cannibals cut me down in wave 2. Blaming myself didn't look so bad after this experience.

Can't tell about difficulty, I probably managed to set it to bronze but when I went to the pugs it took me a couple of times to realize the orange arrows are actually clickable to select the difficulty setting when searching for public lobbies.

Now that I've been asked the question I actually have an amazing recollection of it, the demos first match I was a male human vanguard using katana and avenger, team mates were krogan sentinel female infiltrator and I believe a quarian, went to wave 7 then got abandoned against a few phantoms and an atlas(ridiculously easy for me now but a nightmare then) I also remember thinking that with some polishing the multiplayer could become something incredible

yes i do. 11 months ago(since i only did sp first and brushed off the mp thinking it wouldn't be good) i decided to try mp, it was firebase giant cerberus bronze. i was confused and had no idea what was going on, on my team there was a human vanguard ripping through absolutely everything with BC into nova.. he just kept doing that and seemed basically immortal while i kept getting sneezed on by what seemed like every single enemy. i seriously thought the guy was hacking and it wasn't till a couple weeks later when i really started to get into the mp that i found out that he was using some pretty advanced techniques for the time.

after that i appreciated the mp more and more and here i am a year later still playing this game and having a blast doing so.

Human Engineer/Reactor/Bronze

With single player ME 1/2/3 I had only really learned to play by constantly pausing the game and reacting; with that taken away a whooooooooooooole new world opened up!

That and I remember the nice chap I was playing with informing me a Phantom was behind me right before I got the stab.

Yess, I remembered my first match in the demo FBW/Cerb/Bronze. I chose human soldier because that was my character in ME2 then I ran into a group of Cerberus mooks and used Adrenaline Rush then realised it's TOTALLY different from ME2 then I died... XD

I solo'ed, because I don't want to look like complete n00b in my first multiplayer game with other people. That was a pain...

First I was shocked how much damage the normal troopers did, went into cover and activated Adren rush. Next surprise: the enemy did not slow down , then I went down...
Was quickly revived by a team mate and stuck to him afterwards, I gues score was abot 13 k or so...
The first few games where realy nasty!

First match in the demo, or in the live game? I don't remember the first match in the live game, but I do remember in the demo. I was using an avenger and a predator on an engineer on firebase ghost against obviously cerberus. It was a bronze game. After I played it, I was just so amazed with it. I had been saying since I first completed ME2 that the series could use co-op, and the match was a complete confirmation for me.

I have much fonder memories of my first GOLD game though. Oh my god... that just blew my mind. Now platinum ain't no thing, but back in the day, wow. That was a lot of fun and really got the adrenaline going.

LOL I did the same thing the first time I played MP. Mine was with a Human Soldier and I also thought Adrenaline Rush was bugged/broken in MP.

Heh, some funny ones here. For me I can't remember what class but it was but myself and a friend on dagger. We thought we could camp an area but got totally slaughtered over and over hehe. We couldn't figure out how it was even possible, and ofc it was bronze

Bronze demo days. Me and two other friends did a bronze and wiped on wave 6. Think I used a human soldier with an Avenger and a Katana. I remember switching to my Katana at some point, and saying "Man, this thing is a beast!" lolz.
