What is your least favorite Bioware game?

The limited companion options, character modification options, cliched plot, and easy button mashing gameplay just did not appeal to me.
Jade Empire isn't a bad game but KOTOR, Mass Effect, Baldur's Gate 2, and Dragon Age trounce it.

I would say my least favourite has been Neverwinter Nights. Just too boring, and what few parts were voice-acted I thought were not particularly well voice-acted. I didn't have multiplayer, though.

That being said, Jade Empire was the game that drew me back into the gaming world - I completely fell in love with it, and it was the first game I actually finished on my own since rejoining the gaming world as an adult haha So it has a very special place in my heart. But recently I went to play it again (after I finished ME actually)...and I was so saddened because it just couldn't hold my interest. ME blew me away so much that it was hard to go back to what was previously my favourite little gems. So...they ruined their own games haha

The companion system was terrible, as the companions were all essentially equivalent, and all essentially useless. A half-eaten onion sandwich would have made a more effective sidekick. Then there was Golem Form. I think that something has gone badly wrong somewhere when you can press a button to two-shot the final boss.
There were a few good things about the game though. Some of the dialogue did make me laugh ("if you can stage a combat related accident for Gao, like falling down a flight of punches...") and I did enjoy the tactical approach of controlling powerup drops through harmonic combos. Plus, Bioware has gone on to make much better games since then, so I would say that the mistakes of JE have been learned from wisely.

Well last time I played (as female) I shunned Sky because I wanted to romance Silk Fox, but it turned out I started sweet-talking her a little too late and in the end I couldn't romance anyone <_<

I have only played Mass Effect and Dragon Age, but Mass Effect may have been the worst game I have ever played.

KOTOR II was developed by Obsidian AKA Bioware-lite.
And I absolutely loved KOTOR II
More than KOTOR, in fact, although I did play the games when I was young enough not to notice one of them being 'unfinished'. I just thought the ending was a bit crap, but then that's no change from your average game

I didn't buy into the whole Grey Warden thing.
Good to see it worked for many others, but it didn't work for me.

Jade Empire took a risk with story setting and that really appealed to my half-Chinese nature! I agree the companion system wasn't as good, but I did like some of the characters such as Silk Fox and Dawn Star. And the big guy - he was amazing.

That's interesting. Since that's much like I felt playing Dragon Age: Origins. "Oh look, another cave looking similar to the last one - and another bunch of darkspawn - time for more hack and slash."Rubbish Hero wrote...
Mass Effect, I felt the characters didn't emote very well (or enough depending on how you want to look at it) and the odd pacing and driving area's, kinda felt like I was doing the same level over and over again, very monotonous.
I found Mass Effect to be fast-paced, intense, and genuinely rewarding - both combat and story-wise.
But hey, it is good that we have diversity. It would be boring if everyone liked the same stuff.
