Anything they made that came out before Mass Effect because I hate computer games, don't like Star Wars video games or playing Dungeons & Dragons.

Out of the two games I bought? Dragon Age: Origins.

I thought MDK 2 was awesome. It was like the first MDK but better in every way.

Reason I didn't make this a poll is because I don't think it would create a fair consensus of popular opinion since there are many older, more obscure Bioware games that many people have never played.

MDK 2 was actually the first Bioware game I played.

I much prefered the art direction in the original.

The one game that was the biggest let down for me was Baldur's Gate, let me explain....

At that time the internet and online gaming was not as big as it is now and me and my buddies had this LAN group that would get together about twice a month and game all day long. We were looking so forward to Baldur's Gate but when we tried it on the LAN there were so many problems we never did play that game multiplayer.

Every time someone started a conversation with an NPC everyone else froze in place and could do nothing until that conversation ended and that one problem ruined the mutliplayer experience completely. It was a great single player game but Bioware never should have even included the multiplayer part because it was a complete and total waste of time.

lol, KOTOR is a pretty awesome game. Though, I'm among the rare few who enjoyed KOTOR II more.

I'm not sure whether I wrote it in this thread, but I have very recently said pretty much the same thing :)

I found KOTOR II more enjoyable. Loved the influence system, and Atton was a far better character than Carth.

Another one checking in [strikethrough]to the asylum[/strikethrough] who prefers KOTOR 2. It had (on the whole) better writing than the original. Albeit, with an unfinished game, as with an unfinished mystery novel, there's always the 'what might have been' factor - I like KotOR2 better in pieces than KotOR whole. But that's one of my weird quirks.

Considering that Obsidian are essentially Black Isle who were the guys who made Planescape: Torment, I have to say that they are normally good at making intriguing stories, so to hear that KotOR 2 came out in such a state leads me to conclude that it was some other party responsible for it coming out like it did.

I like Jade Empire more or less because it's somewhat refreshing and you don't really see a setting like that often whether scifi and mediaval fantasy come in tons on the market. Also while I agree the companions in Jade Empire is quite useless gameplay wise, in term of RPG they have more depth and character comparing to ME, KOTOR, or even Dragon Age to be honest. For the most part the NPC companion in Bioware games are good enough for their job but they mostly come across as fair derivative, it's JE that I found they have a certain charm to them.

As for the vote ... it's probably ME for me. I don't mind the action aspect of it but it wasn't done right. In term of shooting, it's probably one of the worst shooter game out I ever played, many times I wished I have a lightsaber or a chainsaw ... hell a baseball bat would feel more welcome than a gun in many fight in ME. And stuffs like exploration, the mako ...etc... were really shallow without any substantial elements. Hopefully they will be addressed probably in ME2.

I will have to say MDK2.

I didn't finish MDK2 when I played, when I quit on Kurt's second level I just didn't go back for some reason.

I wonder if anyone has any opinion on Shattered Steel, I haven't played that one. Their very first game and it wasn't a RPG.
