 Since I discovered that BSN had forums last June, I've gone from having 27 profile views to 35,000. Only explanation I can think of is that a profile view isn't just counted as someone clicking on it. And yes, I know they don't matter. I just think it strange that 20,000 people (guesstimating re-views) were interested in me enough to click on my profile. 

Also this isn't an e-peen thread, so no angry messages please. Comments I don't care about.

If you didn't get fluff replies, your post would have been off the first page already with no chance of an answer. 'fluff' increases your chances of actually getting the info you seek.

People that tend to chat a lot usually get more profile views than those who don't.

I could have twice or more the amount of profile views I have now if I used BSN's comment posting thing.

So that could be it. 35K is a lot for the amount of time you've been here.

It counts when people click on your name or avatar. That's about it. The fact that people have like 685435325 views is a shocker to me.

Yeah, I don't care for profile views. Just because someone clicks to get to your profile doesn't mean they did anything with it.

I believe I'm just under 5000 in all my time here.

I have 44 profile view and been there since 2009 ... But  I think it has to do with my profile being locked ? I have no idea though LOL. I am so unpopular and happy with it !! No idea  how the profile view work. I locked it not long after I registered here !! privacy ftw.

I have no idea why you have such a high amount. Let's take me for example. I've been here longer than you, have likely posted more than you, have more than 100 friends compared to you and that lands me at near 12000 views. Maybe you've just been posting in all the right threads or something. Another possible scenario is that it's a site glitch. It's happened before but with join up date. If you go to your activity feed and newest members, there's a guy who joined up in 2023. Or maybe that's not it, and we'll never know!

EDIT There was a guy with a joinup date like that...
