I thought it was cool how Doppelgänger Shepard's abilities mirrored your own; all the way down the same bonus power. That damn clone was also good at closing the distance. Very Krogan-esque(me1) in that regard.

Brooks as a shotgun infiltrator was a nice touch as well, though she pretty much stayed out the way.

Overall, that was easily the most epic boss fight in ME history,IMO.

What say you?

As a Vanguard she kept charge/nova-ing me, and spamming Nova over and over with no cooldown or needing her shields to recharge. I was glad when I kicked her off the ship.

I did like how she was mirrored your Shep though. That was a great touch.

Lol, I was wondering how she would fair as a Vanguard. Sounds like a pain.

I was rolling with a inferno grenade Soldier so I was constantly getting drawn out of cover by grenades, staggered with a concussive shot and then mowed down by Adrenaline Rush. Good times

Bit off topic but the Shepard in the combat arena... good god... fighting one of every class at once, yikes. And talk about spamming grenades.

I only played one match in the ACC so I haven't reached that point yet. How do you get the Shadow armor?

Get 9,999 points and read the e-mail about it. (You can see it right there on the select screen). Then go back to where you cashed in the gold/silver/bronze points and choose which armor you want.

Make sure to read the e-mail, I went crazy for an hour trying to figure out how to get the armor after I got the max points until someone mentioned this on a thread somewhere.

I was a Soldier with Proxi Mine and the "bad guy" had what seemed to be Carnage.

I have to say I ended up stuck in a melee fight with him fairly often.

I'll admit it REALLY caught me off guard when he started throwing Warp and Incinerate at me. I think my exact words were: "No one will believe he's the real me, I'm a Sentinel after all and I bet he's just a generi- wait... INCINERATE? HE'S A SENTINEL TOO?!" He didn't have Tech Armor, though.

I can definitely confirm that the soldier I fought had my inferno grenade cause she was spamming the heck out of them. 
I also saw her use A.Rush and concussive shot.

soldier clone uses inferno grenade and carnage, my shep has defensive matrix as his bonus cause I run on insanity and a lil extra shields is nice.the clone does not enjoy getting hit in the face with inferno round concussion shot though

that clone was a pain in the ***, played as vanguard which was fairly annoying, everytime i though i had him he did a biotic charge away from me..

But epic boos fight though, took me a few shots to be able to kill him... and.. well.. It opened my eyes, i now feel with my enemies in the game :-P Not a fair fight fighting a vanguard Shephard at all ;-)

For Vanguard Shep is was great because Clone Shep used our own tired, too-easy tactics against us. With the way powers are set for Shep-classes, I think it was really smart idea to make a doppelganger boss

After fighting my doppelguard, I'm now relatively confident that when enemies are fighting me, the thing they're thinking/saying most to themselves is "get back here you son of a-- wait, no, don't charge back here! ACK!!" Back that aside, I didn't find my clone too hard to put down-- I had my Kaidan with me, and EDI, so I just had them use their chain overloads to bugger his shields, and then incinerate -> charge followed by reave -> charge and Shep2.0 would be like "eeek! Medigel!"

Anyone fought a doppelganger that copied their bonus Flare power yet? I bet that would be a bit... harrowing?

Fantastic. Hardest fight I ever had by far (appropriate, given who you are fighting). I was a vanguard my first time, so nowhere was safe - she would repeatedly charge me and nova, obliterating me in literal seconds. I was on Hardcore and died probably at least a dozen times. I would imagine insanity is much worse.

My engineer Shep fared much better though - apart from 'Mysterious Figure' overloading his shields all the time things went quite cleanly (Shield Matrix bonus power certainly helped). Unlike Shepguard, who merely charged forever and nova'd, Shepineer actually did some kind of husk-grapple from behind while I was distracted by Brooks, which was totally neat.

Shepgineer was a real bastard: kept spamming incinerate and that bloody drone. Even with shield boost I have to say it's one of the best and toughest in the series. The end especially excellent.

I didn't notice it was a clone at all. I played a sentinel on insanity. I may have been warped (don't know), and those grenades may have been liftgrenades, but overall I had little trouble: Garrus and I overload, Javik dark Channel, I warp (boom) and shoot once with the paladin... and that's one of the clone's medigel gone. Next!

It was a grueling fight on my Insanity adept. Cloneshep would just chain lock me with Throw Warp Throw Warp Throw Warp.

Had an Insanity Adept too, luckily i was able to avoid his double-throw when i got hit by a warp and he obviously could not use Dominate.
I do not know why he used a deadly Hurricane XXX, i never used the Hurricane in SP.

Had an Insanity Sentinel. Went interesting, dodging Double Throw and Warps and his Overload....but then I realized I had Flare as my bonus power. Yeah...

Infiltrator Shepclone was almost as cheap a bastard as my actual Shep. We had an Black Widow cloak duel that was actually one of the most enjoyable gameplay experiences I've had in the series.

I think this once and for all settles the Shepard/Leng rivalry too.
