Because there's no way in hell I'm changing the galaxy . Over my dead body after seeing this DLC.

I've totally fallen in love with my little family I've created. The squadmates of past and future have combine to create some of the tightest friend units I have ever seen. Not only do they prove that this galaxy is worth saving as it is, but the comradery and cooperation of different races proves that there IS hope for this version of the galaxy's future, with little to no Reaper influence along the way.

Destroy's no option. After Citadel DLC, EDI's proven synthetics deserve better.
Synthesis's no option. After Citadel DLC, I can't alter galactic status quo when this one can prove to be civil and stable.
And don't even get me started on Refuse.

So I used to be an avid Destroy fan. But after seeing this DLC, I don't think I'll ever choose anything other than Control. If sacrificing my life means I'll be able to keep this version of the galaxy in tact, then my sacrifice will be worth it. If not for the galaxy, then for my little family I've created.

Hmm, an unexpected conclusion, but a well thought out and justified one. Nice. :)

I was under the impression Control ending does not kill Shepard but turns it into,  let's call it, a new entity....

Sure. Control kinda is the way to go. I just forget about the EC and pretend that once in control of the Reapers, you control them all to drive into the nearest Sun and die.

There. No more Reapers. Everything remains the same!!!

Control was the best option from the beginning.

Paradox ? by choosing a control you´re changing galaxy by artificial attempt to keep an order.

Yeah while with TIM and Shepard were arguing about it, as much Renegade Shepard = Catalyst 2.0

I'm still picking destroy, but I like control too. I really liked how this DLC could support either.

My choice hasn't changed, but I'll admit, I got a little ache in my heart every time Joker and EDI did something together.

I can get over the fact that we only see EDI and Geth being the victims of Destroy ending.
Because all other endings goes against everything my Shepard has been fighting for.
Besides the control is IMO evil, the Shepard's speech just sounds like he is going to stab in the back the entire galaxy and i refuse to do something TIM wanted to do.

The only thing that I detest about the Destroy ending - EDI and the Geth's "deaths" - can be headcanoned away as they're not shown on-screen beyond a memorial plaque in the EC.

I have to headcanon, because I will always choose Destroy for my MainShep. HOW COULD I NOT, when Garrus has so many more dance moves to teach me??

Yeah same I'm a destroy guy. But man EDI she is one of my crew. I felt horrible every time she made me laugh and her Joker had their moments together. Knowing later I'm gonna sacrifice her and the Geth to save the galaxy. If my Shepard survives she is getting a big goddam statue on the Citadel.

Destroy is the only option for me. I don't object to the others, but when it comes to my Sheps, she will always regret what happened to EDI, and the Geth.

But, after a lifetime, of doing the impossible, without complaint. After a lifetime of sacrificing everything for everyone else, she wanted to be with the one she loved

A moment of profound selfishness, to be sure. But there it is.

(And yes, I am one of those who views the Geth as sentient.)

ReaperShep is even less Shepard than CloneShep.

Seems like updating the Catalyst with Shepard DLC would mean there's gonna be "some" to "a ****ton of" Reaper influence around.

Control....

After Jack tells me that she'll yank me out of a pile of rubble at the "ass-end of this war"?

No.

Miranda: "So, Joker do you have any human women you're interested in?"

Joker: "No, EDI's smart, funny and into ships."

Miranda: "You know what you want, I respect that."

Some would say that the Romance content convinced them that (high EMS) Destroy is the best choice because Shepard can survive.

In my canon, EDI is the only casualty of Destroy (Geth VI got ventilated back on Rannoch). I view her sacrifice on par with the BDtS hostages before her. I don't like it, but it's a price both she and Shepard were willing to pay to see the Reapers destroyed.

I always chose control, but only because it would benefit Tali to have the geth around.

This DLC only reinforces my decision.

For me that's the icing on the cake.

Even with the EC, destroy is the only thing I like.

But not to the extent that Destroy and Synthesis change the galaxy. Control's more of a, "OH ****, SPACE COPS ARE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER. AND THEY'RE CHARGING UP THEIR LASERS!!" kinda change.

I just saw that, and yeah, that was great. You can't get much more in your face than that.
