They said there was one coming out close to when RtO does, but I've seen nothing saying that this isn't that patch. Where are you getting that there's another in addition to this one that's coming out when RtO does?

To make things clearer, this is NOT that patch. RtO has not been released so this is not the big patch to fix the bugs.

Those two things are still releasing on the same day.

This one is only fixing achievements and mr. Bioware dude also said they took this chance to fix a small issue.

There is going to be another patch.

As long as there is another patch to fix the issues with the game that's fine.

Thank you for the update Bioware. :) This is a minor issue, however, it is one that has been bugging me. :)

Thanks for the info. I know that the xbox was a secondary port, and therefore more time consuming to fix than PC bugs due to different software languages and all. So at least this is a start. Thanks agian, and work hard young man, but not too hard though.. we need you alive to fix other issues :-)

Will it fix the issue of the Warden Commanders Armor not granting the set bonus?

Really? That's all? Please respond soon clarifying that said update is going to fix far more. Now, I have not experienced any of the game breaking Bugs mentioned in the 360 support forums, however, the dex-bug has essentially been keeping me from playing the game in it's entirety once more since Leiliana is essentially useless aside from taking out traps and lock-picking, plus, I have been unable to play the Rogue class unless I want to use the cunning trick build which feels...lacking.

For the record, I understand the Devs are under a Mountain of pressure, and I wish there was more that we, the fans, could do to help. None the less, finally announcing a Console patch that only fixes something that is, in the greaters scheme of things, rather worthless, seems like a poor choice in judgement to me. Yes, some will likely argue that 'some' mention of a patch is better than none...but, come on. Please, please Bioware, tell me there is more to it.

Without going too deep into the decision-making process, it often falls to opportunity. This is a DLC issue that we have the opportunity to get out of the way before releasing more DLC, so we're grabbing it. It doesn't mean that's all the support we'll ever offer the XBox, but we can do this much right now.

I'm working with Fernando and the other developers to try an get more information out to you on future releases and I hope that once we accomplish some regular and meaningful system of updating info on upcoming fixes, you'll see that we really are hard at work to make this the solid gaming experience you deserve. But new means of information release are a process that requires a lot of coordination from a lot of groups. So I am still working on it, but it's my main commitment.

but will we finaly get rid ot the quest glitch that would level you up to max is shore time i hope so:bandit:

It sounds a lot to me like Microsoft are the real reason we are getting this patch. Most likely something along the lines of, "sorry, but we're not touching anymore DLC from you guys until you fix the achievements on the existing stuff".

Which isn't such a bad thing if it hastens the release of RTO, and the promised patch coming with it for the consoles.

Kick puppies? Never. Kick kittens? That I'm down with. ;)

Puppies aren't evil. Kittens are.

Who cares about that glitch? It isn't hurting anyone. If people want to use it then they use it. If they don't then they don't.

This is ridiculous. We are going on 3 months and we still aren't even close to getting a fix for a glitch that should never had made it past testing. I can totally understand some of the exploits making it past testers but for a stat to be broken. Can you give me an explanation on how this could happen?

Wow so the patch is to fix something to tell me that I play this game way to much, sounds like fun. BTW I'm currently working on a mod for my 360 to be able to create custom armors and weapons for DA:O. Also I am working on being able to download your own face into the game as a toon face will let ppl know when I have it done.

Wow, that's just ducky that those lost achievements will now show up and all. But in terms of priorities shouldn't some thought be given to the ever growing hoard of game owners who can't finish the game due to corrupted saves?

Not only is this not included, but NOBODY from either Bioware or EA has even done the bare minimum in acknowledging the problem and giving the standard "We're currently investigating the problem." While that would be a bare minimum response (as opposed to your current tact - telling us to delete all our saves and try again), even better would be some indication of a proposed schedule for actually addressing it. I ask this for the obvious reason that you now have an ever growing number of gamers who simply cannot even finish Dragon Age. Shouldn't this even merit a response?

Just wanting to know, does this patch help in anyway with whatever was wrong with RTO?

If the patch mentioned is the one i just downloaded earlier, it's not working.

The achievments are listed ont he related page but aren't counted in the total score for acheivments. A small thing, but still bothers neurotic geeks like myself.

Actually they have acknowledged it, and they've said they are having some issue replicating the problem. Without being able to replicate an issue, they can't very well fix it, can they? Don't just post useless bullhonky, do some research.

Sorry for the double post beforehand. Now have you gone into the character selection screen? Because that's where my achieves were unlocked, after it synchs with the server. I got 75gs just for loggin in today, lol.

I have the exact  same situation myself - I have tried loading and re-saving all the characters saves I have to try and coerce a sync, but the achievements are still not there in the main total.
