I'm a MOARDAKKA Soldier Shep, so I chose Nightmare.
I don't find myself going into melee that much, usually only against Husks/Rampart Mechs. The extra bonuses to shielding and damage output were too good to resist.

Phantom's helmet.

They're actually the same helmets. The only difference is the color scheme.

The Phantom's helmet has the 4 red eyes.
The Shadow's just has the visor.

Having those eyes of doom sounds sweet.

What the heck am I talking about. The phantom's helmet is completely different. The new armor has the shadow's helmet.

Its pretty obvious which armor is for which class.

For Soldiers and Infiltrators: Nightmare Armor
20% Weapon Damage
20% Ammo Capacity
20% Headshot Damage
10% Shields and Shield Recharge

Engineer and Adept: Spirit Armor
30% Power Damage
30% Power Recharge
10% Shields and Shield Recharge

For Sentinel and Vanguard: Shade Armor
10% Melee
10% Ammo Capacity
10% Weapon Damage
10% Power Damage
20% Shields and Shield Recharge

When the hell does it ask you to choose a armor? I got 9999 and nothing popped up.

Read your mail inside the Arena, you know when you're picking the challenges.

It's a shame Citadel didn't add any of that sweet CAT-6 armor. The final bosses, especially, looked totally badass.

So the new Cerberus armor does it or does not have a helmet toggle?

No, just the helmet toggle in the narrative options

So when conversing and in the dream sequence it's removable?

Great, more Cerberus armor :smh:

My thoughts exactly. How hard would it have been to given us the N7 schemes. As with the other Cerb armour, very unlikely to use it.

helmet doesnt even come off in convo's for me :( Ruins it personally. And for anyone too lazy to go for the scoreboard, you can unlock them by selecting debug armours through gibbed. :)

Whoever made the Ajax Armor mod should make one for this armor set as well.

Yeah, I scored 10168 and didn't get any option to choose armor.

Though I had done all this but will give it another go.  It was pretty easy challenge to complete anyway.  Whole lot easier than trying to get past the first bit after falling through fish tank and doing it on Insanity as Adept.

Yeah.  It isn't that bad to get 10000pts if you add on some point bonuses.

I disagree here, if just because I play a caster sentinel. The Power Damage and Power Recharge Speed of the Spirit armor is more appealing to me.

I picked the Nightmare armor for my Soldier.  The stats on it are surprisingly good and I'm considering using it but not digging the color scheme and full helmet.  And frankly I've just gotten so used to my usual set up that it always feels really, really weird to put on different armor.  The lack of a sword was also quite disappointing.

I accidentally chose the Shade instead of the Nightmare. Any chance in the next playthrough to get it then?

And where do I find that Ajax Armor mod.

I only wish they would make a custom armor set like they did with the Kestrel armor in ME2. That was the best one in that game. Why can't they give us the N7 version of this armor?

I think I took Shade for my No Charge Novaguard. But I haven't worn it.

I don't like the coat tails. Yeah that is a valid reason.

If you're PC user, then it's possible to "fix" that issue.
