the helmet isn't removable?

If you're PC user, then it's possible to "fix" that issue.

Does anyone know how?

You need to add torso piece that uses BIOG_HMF_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMF_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL model (HMM for male variant) and blank arms, shoulders and legs. If you want to use the helmet separately, map BIOG_HMF_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMF_HGR_FBDj_MDL (again HMM for male variant) as helmet.

page 1 screen - again helmets? -.-

The helmet toggle feature works with this armor as with all other armors. There are a few cutscenes in the game in which helmets remain on. I wonder if the earlier post suggesting that the toggle doesn't work was a result of confusion due to one of these cutscenes.

It doesn't unlock on separate characters. I think you either have to win it separately for each character, or import a character with it unlocked into a NG+.

So, we can get all three armors after three playthroughs, in theory?

Same question. I like to switch my infiltrator from sniper to shotgun/rifle, mix up powers, etc, so actually all three armor sets look nice for experimenting.

Its pretty obvious which armor is for which class.

For Soldiers and Infiltrators: Nightmare Armor
20% Weapon Damage
20% Ammo Capacity
20% Headshot Damage
10% Shields and Shield Recharge

Engineer and Adept: Spirit Armor
30% Power Damage
30% Power Recharge
10% Shields and Shield Recharge

For Sentinel and Vanguard: Shade Armor
10% Melee
10% Ammo Capacity
10% Weapon Damage
10% Power Damage
20% Shields and Shield Recharge

I'm an Engineer but I picked Nightmare. I always go for the highest weapon damage.  I'm so ridiculously OP that I don't need to boost my powers.

So in order to use the texture I have to keep using textmod to run it?

The three armors can be unlocked for 360 users with Gibbed, as can the casual clothing from the DLC. Someone extracted the content files, and I picked out the following four BOOL IDs from that content.

I'm not sure which is which, but setting each to "True" will unlock the DLC armors and outfits, as well as a few other items.

21752, 24819, 24820, 24821

So how do I do that then?

For example you add:
(Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMM_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMF_SHP_FBDj_NH_MDL"),GameEffects=("SFXGameContentDLC_EXP_Pack003.SFXGameEffect_UniqueArmor_Phantom"),Id=45,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Torso,Name=813578,Description=813579)
under torsoappearances.

If you want to use the helmet, you can add it too like (no need to add power buffs since they are in torso already):
(Mesh=(Male="BIOG_HMM_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMM_HGR_FBDj_MDL",Female="BIOG_HMF_SHP_FBD_R_DLC.FBDj.HMF_HGR_FBDj_MDL"),Id=45,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Helmet,Name=813578,Description=813579)

(Long strings do not show up nicely here, if you copu&past be sure that you copy whole thing. Highlight whole post and copy it to text editor first.)

Then you need to make blank parts for shoulders, legs and arms like:
(Id=45,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Legs,Name=813578,Description=813579)
(Id=45,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Arms,Name=813578,Description=813579)
(Id=45,PlotFlag=-1,Type=CustomizableType_Shoulders,Name=813578,Description=813579)

I doubt it. Gibbed is great for unlocking options built into the game. Things like the Cat-6 Boss Armor will likely pop up on PC Shepards only. Changes like that are typically beyond the reach of the save editor, as I understand it.

It's a shame Citadel didn't add any of that sweet CAT-6 armor. The final bosses, especially, looked totally badass.

Meh, I didn't really like the CAT armor. The color scheme was too blured and the helmet was pretty whacked on most of them.

From a role play perspective, cerberus generally have armor with superior stats (Ajax, nightmare, shade, officer etc.) but inferior weapons compared to the N7 class (just compare the hornet and the hurricane, or the valkarie and the raptor). The downside of using said armor is possible affiliation with a faction that much of the galactic community regards as extremists. Personally, I think the superior stats are well worth the aesthetic trade-off.

The armor my clone was wearing when first meeting them was way cooler. And it was already optimised for Shep. Sigh.

I chose the Spirit armor because my shepard is an adept (and that armor makes the Inferno/blood dragon armor obsolete)

In case anyone wondes about design- the male one is basically the armor of the N7 slayer with Cerberus paintjob while the female one is the N7 shadow armor + cerberus paintjob (and both of them are based on the Phantom Armor/Kai Leng's armor)

Call me a turn coat, but I really want that texture mod now. Damn you xbox for not supporting "community content" (i.e. 1337 Hax)
