Normally I would have made a comment about the anatomical incompatibility between the two, but then I remembered that Bioware stopped caring about that ever since ME2. So I'll let it go.................

Please indulge me on your extensive knowledge of Prothean genitalia.

This is just....ROFL. Javik going all out with his "primitives" theme is already hilarious, but this tops it all.

I just typed out an entire dialogue sequence for during-the-act, but it would give too many nightmares. Just know I did.

You cannot seriously expect me to believe that Prothean and Human genitialia would match? We are after all talking about two different species which developed and evolved on two entirely different planets possibly several thousand light years away? Shepard would have more success having intercourse with an ape here on Earth than having it with Javik, that's for sure.

But as I said Bioware already threw all the scientific accuracy out the window with ME2, so I'm not surprised.

Fact: Mass Effect is fiction.
Fact: The main species are humanoid
Fact: We don't know the details of what Shepard and Javik really did.
Fact: He has 3 fingers and a tongue

Exactly. They could have just had a kissing fest and passed out. Or they could have actually had sex or some form of it.

Mass Effect used to be a serious work of science fiction, then ME2 & ME3 came around and put that aside.

The main species are humanoid? I suppose you refer to Javik? Well if so then so what? That doesn't really mean anything.

All right we don't know what they did for sure, but now you need to decide where you want to go here. I believe we were having a discussion about what, at least I believe, they did not what may have happened between them.

With regards to your last statement, Javik appeared to be the satisfied one not Shepard, but I'm not going further. This is according to Bioware anyway supposed to be a "family friendly" social network.

I think ME1 WAS hard sc-fi, and ME1 was my favourite.

But I don't mind that it slipped in ME2 and ME3, they were still amazing and the MEU is still brilliant.

Um...no.

In fact, it was always a work of Space Opera, the hard sci-fi was always present to give it a semblence of realism that any Sci-Fi setting such as this would have. Like shooting womprats with a T-16s back home, or making the Kessel run in 5.

The entire sleeping scene with Javik and Shepard is just fan service, nothing to be taken seriously. Enjoy it for what it is.

Pleasing me? Then you have misunderstood. You write what you want to, I'm just setting up boundaries for myself. As I said "I'm not going further".

I said Mass Effect used to be a serious piece of science fiction, I never said anything about space opera, and as I'm sure you know the space opera genre is a sub-genre within science fiction.

Yes, I realise that the entire Citadel DLC is more or less fan service, it's just not to my taste.

AlanC9 wrote...Right. So what's one more?

It's not a big deal, which is why I said that I'm not surprised in the first place.
