funny how you guys are fogging the issue with this whole skill debate, sound like a bunch of kids in here.
anyway, i agree with CV about this character for the most part.
i think this character needs more fitness, even just a little would go a long way.
Hard to believe people doubting that Crimson has skill with any class... dude is a beast.

Then why did you post? . The OP scored 160k in a tough map for the PV. Obviously he knows what he is talking about.
Tell you what, try the same map and faction and I am sure you would change your mind:devil:

Then you are exposed to enemies without any protection. Kroguard and Batguard have super shield + DR + DR from Heavy Melee, Slayer has super DR from his melee plus hes an all-range fighter and has higher mobility. Other Vanguards don't depend on heavy melee to kill stuff.Tallgeese_VII wrote...
I still think Biotic charge -> Heavy melee gives him huge advantage over other vanguards.
Just my thoughts.

Kroguard / Batguards are different from Phoenix. They are tanky face to face melee characters. Still not nearly as mobile as Phoenix Vanguard.
Phoenix requires really good equipments to be played safe above gold, but he has his own good place.
Acolyte (Incendiary) shot -> Biotic charge -> Heavy melee -> Biotic charge -> Smash -> Roll -> Biotic charge -> Acolyte -> heavy melee...
what I am trying to say is this basic combo alone makes him very exceptional close range fight character.
He is totally different from other grenade throwing vanguards.. and he is definitely better choice for melee vanguard than Slayer if you are not hosting.
In my opinion he is not worst Vanguard but just different. I think worst Vanguard is Cabal ran out of grenade.
Funny thing is.. from anniversary statistic image, BW treats that ex-cerberus character being rare in ME3 MP as some kind of lore friendly element.

Any Pyjak with an Acolyte can survive Gold. In my demonstrating match I was using Wraith alone. If you gonna use Acolyte, N7 Slayer: Acolyte -> Phase Disruptor -> Killstreak. Mobility? Don't make me laugh. Of all the dodgeable Vanguard, he is among the squishiest and slowest.Tallgeese_VII wrote...

Ever heard about Biotic Hammer?
Every time I use this ability my Krolord just scratches his back. He's much better at meleeing after scratching his back though.
He must feel really itchy in his huge metal can.

My point is people should stop putting weapon like Acolyte, Reegar on a character and call that a build.Tallgeese_VII wrote...
Any character that can wipe off enemy shield has little use for acolyte unless using it for phantom.

I wonder if anyone has actaully taken him with Evolution 6A after the buff, the one where you have a 50% chance to cause no cooldown. I did, and I guess I'm rare, cause I found BioCharge with an instant smash at the end half the time to be a pretty big deal. And if it fails, his heavy melee stuns everything around him without that stupid butt wiggle at the end.
I don't know, I found him to be pretty unique for a Vanguard that way.

I hate it when people do this! Post a screenshot showing they finished top with a crap class/gun as if it somehow proves that it is not outclassed. What is the point?
I think it CV posted it so he'd show that he could use the class and by that could talk about it.
Validation through experience.
classy, lay it down in proffesional words, a kernel of wisdom. Very anime
