I've tried multiple sequences but can't come up with "place filled earthen jug on top of the altar". 1.Take jug, 2.leave pool, 3. Fill jug, 4.  ??? Leave pool or not, when I examine again..."no place jug on altar". Any help appreciated, thanks.

There's a stone altar to the side. Use that if you want to place the jug on it.

You take the jug from the pool and fill it with water from the pool.
You go to the altar and place the jug on the altar
Kneel before the altar and pray
then drink a single sip from the jug
take the jug and go to the pool
empty the jug into the pool.

Also remember to use the "tab" key if you are playing on a PC to see everything you can interact with.
(tab key is above the caps lock key on the far left of the keyboard, just in case :happy:)

examine fountain to start

fill jug with water

leave the pool

examine the altar

put the filled jug on the altar

kneel and pray

examine the jug

take a single sip from the jug

leave the altar

examine the fountain

dump the water in the jug back into the pool

Yeah, you kinda have to go to the altar if you want to use the altar.

the altar is in the corner kind of hidden yeah irritated me the first time...
