So is the Citadel DLC where your playthroughs stop or are you going back to finish the game?

For those of you unaware, I loved the hell out of the Citadel dlc. I haven't had this much fun with mass effect in a long time.

And there lies somewhat of an issue.

Right after you finish the dlc you back to what you were doing on the Normandy, presumably either finish the other two dlcs or go and assult TIM's base and then go to Priority:Earth.

And I feel no need to go and do any of those missions.

I've played this last few missions over a year now sometimes on insanity just to spice things up and nothing about any of these missions grab my attention anymore.

I don't want to go back to fighing the Reaper War anymore, especially Priority:Earth and meeting the Catalyst again.

Why go back to some something that brings pain and misery to almost everyone that played that mission when I just had one hell of good time with every character I've grown to love in this series.

So for me, the citadel dlc is where my playthroughs end, so what about you folks, do you still want to go and play the rest of the game? Or is the citadel dlc the final stop for your Shepherd and crew?

Let know in the comments below.

Trying to ignore the ending does not make it disappear. It exists and not doing it means you are not finishing the game. So I will do it.

Of course, can't just leave all my friends to die. I will sacrifice myself to keep them safe, then I will continue to protect them.

Nope. Done with the endings, permanently.

It's not so much of me ignoring the endings, it used to be. But now, it's more I'm burnout and I don't have any fun playing those parts. I actually like them well enough with the EC even Refuse just not enough to go back to back and watch those cutscenes again.

I haven't decided yet. But what you said, about being tired of fighting Reapers... I am too. It's been a long few years with this series, and I regret none of it but... At least for now, I'm finally ready to put the legend of Shepard to rest.

EDIT: Though I do have a lot more War Assets than I did on my first playthrough, so the promise of getting the breath scene this time is tempting. How silly it is to spend several more hours just to see someone take a breath... But I think I have to, so that it will really be the end.
Then I can tell myself that Garrus pulled her out of the rubble, and that they continued fighting together until the galaxy was mostly whole again, before settling down and having a family, occasionally making remarks about their time together on the Normandy.
Ha, who am I kidding; They'd cool off for maybe a year before growing bored and leaving to find some other great evil to right, and I love them for it.

I do still get the urge to beat the stuffing out of the space ninja from time... I'm not sure I can give that up.

Mine stops after this. I haven't even completed 1 playthrough of ME3 yet. The farthest I've gotten is completing Thessia and then I stopped. Guess I'm just not ready to say goodbye yet, especially with how the endings are setup =/

Citadel DLC has now made me eager to play ME3 again just so I can play through it again. It's kind of painful to have all this fun with your team just to have it end the way it does with ME3. Can't do it yet.

Plus it's the only time you can use ME2 squamates like Miranda and Jack. Bit unhappy that they weren't there much but honesty I can let it slide due to the amount of good stuff from the dlc.

Always wanted to use Miranda and Kaiden, prove who'se the better sentinel or Grunt and Wrex that never got old.

You're wrong. Kai Lame doesn't eat his Wheaties. He eats someone else's.

Still haven't picked it up, in middle of a ME2 playthrough, but once I grab citadel it WILL be my ending despite the bad clone plot. The endings as they are do nothing but frustrate and sadden me, so the Citadel content seems like the closest thing I can get to a good epilogue with the gang.

I've seen the ending more than enough times. I'm doing my second playthrough of The Citadel now and it ends with the party. Not even going to do the "go back to the Normandy" scene, it's touching but a bit of a downer. I see no reason to go beyond this anymore. I know how it ends. I don't hate the high-EMS destroy ending but it requires a lot of headcanon to be satisfying... so why bother doing the playthrough?

Omni-Blade.
The plot armour is My sheild in this case.

No it stops after Citadel dlc for me. I've finished the game 3x and that is about all I need. I can head cannon the rest how I see fit.
