So is the Citadel DLC where your playthroughs stop or are you going back to finish the game?

So you would rather leave the reaper plot unresolved? You know that they will not resolve it in teh future games right?

When forced to choose between enjoying the game and slavishly following Bioware's artistic vision, I will choose enjoyment because I play games for my enjoyment. If 99% of the game is great but ruined by the final 15min (again, godchild letting Shepard win kills any sense of accomplishment - imagine doing the SM, losing the entire squad, getting captured by Harby... who then proceeds to blow up the base for your), then I will skip the last 15min because, guess what - I play games to have fun.

I'd leave it until right before Cronos, but I'd also leave Leviathan as well to do in between. You have to pace yourself.

The only reason I'm even playing the main campaign again is to get the various characters unlocked for the party, so yeah, after I finish the DLC I'm done.

I will only because that line about garrus waiting for my shep helped make picking destroy a lot easier. He will find her and the reapers will be gone. I knew that he wouldn't give up on her prior this DLC but that line cemented my belief that he will go searching for her.

Just do the earth and have mehem installed or watch it on youtube, problem solved. Or headcanon it.

Yep, I think Citadel probably works very well with MEHEM and at least those who are on PC should consider trying it.

Personally, I just went through Citadel before Cronos station and I don't have any intention to continue unless I need to check things out regarding one idea for a mod. I have experienced last levels of game for 3 times or so now, I simply don't see reason to go through relatively empty Cronos and anti-climatic Priority: Earth anymore. In my imagination Shep & co. are going to head for another adventure where they find solution for Reaper threat, Citaden never moves, Catalyst and space magic beams don't happen.

I think, narratively, the party fits best after Rannoch and before Thessia. The crew is in a celebratory mood (unless you REALLY screwed up the end of the arc), the Citadel would be riding high on the news of the Miracle on Palaven... the timing is right. Unfortunately, Miranda can only be picked up at the end of the game.

For me Citadel DLC is the ending, no more Priority:Earth and the Catalyst

I'm not sure, yet. I just finished the DLC a day or so ago, and I'm not terribly let-down by the EC Destroy ending.

I think I'm going to do the Citadel content in pieces on my next playthrough, and reload the save before Chronos to throw the party. That way a recovered Shepard and company can relax on a restored Citadel after destroying the Reapers.

Works for me.

Already have, and am nearing Tuchanka on my next playthrough. I really struggle to understand all this ending whine when there are so many set pieces in the rest of the game to enjoy.

Lancer and the Suppressor make amazing additions to the early game combat, and the Phantom armour is awesome. Deffo recommend stick your head in the door at least one more time, particularly if you're on a Biotic class. Suppressor is a game changer.

I haven't purchased the DLC yet, but it'll be where the game ends for me when I do. The end scene with everyone going back to the Normandy as you converse with your LI was perfect in tone, music and atmosphere, the perfect jumping-off point for me to just headcanon the ending I've wanted for a year now.

The Lancer is my Shep's new default. Had used the Avenger due to canon and it's low cooldowns (Sentinel, here), but the Lancer is the new #1.

In terms of the Suppressor, I almost wish they had used a different model than a Carnifex for the gun.

I finish Earth, choose Destroy, then play Citadel.

Close Citadel before the final Normandy scene.

Game pretty perfect.

I haven't played through the game with MEHM installed yet. I'll probably do that and then have the Citadel DLC be my real ending. Citadel's ending is far more in keeping with the tone and spirit of the series (IMO), so that's how I'm going to choose to end it.
