You know, I think Talon is the most powerful character of Reckoning and Geth Juggernout the Weakest.

I could resist 6 bosses and 3 elites at same time (as long there is no lag and no melee bugs)
very good if you have AOE teammates.

Not true with the all consumable rule, they just pop all thermal clips at once and the atlas is long dead before you get ridof shields. But in general yeah, with good positioning, that thing kills.Nayail wrote...

I completed Lodestar Insanity with my brother, duoing platinum against all factions with two juggernauts with typhoons. I took Survivor for extra ops packs and shields and it turned out we didn't even break a sweat enough to benefit from this. I think I might've used total of 5-6 medi gels for all four games and most of them with Collectors.
Definitely won't agree with you, RedJohn.
If GJ has good weapon / using fire explosion as he uses the heavy melee as mainly stunning tool,
the character is amazingly good. Even ignores few phantom slashes while hacking a device !!

Talon? The mines ARE powerful yes - but it's simply not fun to play. I ran out of mines pretty quickly on a glitched match. Pressing "8" did nothing in that match - it was a pain.

I know for certain if you skip one of the arrow powers you will not get that glitch, Somehow some other people are able to use both without getting that glitch but I have not figured out what causes it yet.

I didn't know what people were talking about with the keybinding. I quickly got it in that match. I would have liked to see my face in that moment.
I specced the Talon twice. I can't remember having trouble with the first (without concussive). The second turned out to bug out (have some points in concussive - just for grenade capacity).

Juggernaut+Volus Engineer is a perfect base for any platinum match. Add in two high-DPS characters like the TGI and Geth Flamer Trooper, and you have an effective method of dealing with threats and preventing team death.
His landmine is the only part of it that is remotely purposeful, and there's no justification for being THAT squishy when he needs exposure. That's the only good part of the class, he has little weapon damage bonuses, low shields and pretty underpowered bow powers, oh and of course, low bow damage at that.
The Awakened collector is pretty decent in terms of base stats, but seekers are weak and their sphere has too long a recharge, leaving you exposed and vulnerable. Plus ascension just isn't worth it and it's buggy (even on host) and half the time doesn't show YOU it's turned on.

Nobody can spam grenades like the Talon. I have found that if you bring a stagger weapon (scorpion or falcon) you can stagger all the mooks into mines on the ground. Bring a Talon or Hurricane for boss killing on top of mine spam.

And if anyone else is using grenades, or if someone decides they don't like you shooting their friends, or any boss moves AROUND your trip mine and simply walks up to you and executes you?
There's so many problems with that point that I don't think I can list them all down. Just because his mine can kill a big troop doesn't mean that he's perfect for gold or platinum. He's too fragile to go out, so he has to lure enemies to him, he has no stagger immunity, so he's dead the moment a prime's drone staggers him, he has a shoddy grenade recharge time, so he won't be getting many unless nobody else is using grenades, Mines can fail to create a straight tripwire on some surfaces, and in come cases it goes straight through the walls you point it at, his weapon damage is low, meaning you are SOLELY reliant on something walking into a mine, and overall the mine is an unreliable output. What happens if a set of mooks waltz into your mines, leaving the larger troops capable of moving through before the one you'll replace the detonated one with can prime?
Compare that to:
The Juggernaut, who can sit on platinum and never die.
The warlord, who can pretty much instakill anything that isn't a heavy troop in one swing, and can detonate.
The EDIbot, with massive shotgun bonuses and a power that literally makes her not die, as well as buffing her.
The Awakened collector, who, while still weaker than the rest, is better than the Talon in terms of reliable output.
and The Cabal, who can heavily DoT things multiple times and teleport through wall, whiel also having an AR-like power that gives back shields.

Is this a subtle nerf the cain mine thread? A substantial damage reduction to cain mine and damage and utility increase in omni bow in next weeks balance changes?
If it is, it's probably not intentional.
Either way, that's what needs to be done. Soften up the mine a little and make the bow more powerful, as well as the bow powers themselves. Considering that they lack any AoE whatsoever, have a much higher tendency to miss/have no effect, they should have a lot more damage than they currently do. Even though they go off his base damage, there's still not enough there to justify them having a lock-on which can render your shots useless and a slow enough travel time that the enemy out of cover will jump back into it before the arrow can reach them.
