Did anyone else go through all 183 paragon/renegade options just to show Vega who's boss? Did anyone else go through the sweat, the pain, the agony, the boredom?

It was extremely uncomfortable for me, as I desperately needed a ****** for the entire 10+ minutes of that scene. But I couldn't simply stop and give Ironstud Bearstomper the satisfaction of seeing me fall. I just couldn't.

183, but yeah, I did it as well. Wish I could do that many IRL haha.

I also found myself needing to go to the loo halfway through it and also kept going, just to upstage James.

Actually, James says 182 is his record, not 183. 183 is how many Shepard does.

I did it and I'm sure most who did it have the same story as me. I absolutely hated myself for doing it but I was way too stubborn to stop either.

Correct. But you have to do 183 to beat him, so you have to do 183 interrupts.

Went for the 183 as well, my Shepard looked really nauseous near the end. I was planning on having my failshep not do this dlc (to keep war assets at a minimum) but I just might, so I can just make him fall after doing one.

And I have no doubt the designers knew so many of us would be stubborn and proud enough to do this despite how utterly pointless it is.

That's pretty much exactly what I just said... 183 is how many Shepard does, thus beating James' record by 1.

This was the best moment in Citadel DLC. It explained perfectly why Shepard can't be indoctrinated or Levaithan controlled. It explained why sedatives couldn't stop him in Arrival. It explained why Shepard beats the Reapers who have done their thing for millions of years. It explained why Batman would be stomped hard by Shepard.

OP, change the title.

This was a good "What am I doing with my life?" moment for me.

I did it twice. :P (because the first time I hadn't done Horizon and was missing Miranda)

Definitely one of those times that if you saw your kid doing it, you'd go "He/She's a lost cause". :P

I did it, then as I was leaving the apt the game froze...oddly just the game and not the whole console, so after I reloaded the game i found all my effort had been for naught...ah well there will be other playthroughs

I did all 183. Complete waste of time. Not worth it. Didn't even earn me useless reputation points on a maxed reputation bar.

I did it for two reasons, one is because I'm stubborn and also in hope to somehow get the next e-mails that never arrived. Didn't work.

I did it, too.
And my Shep's a particularly lithe and pretty girl, so beating the muscle-monster was even more worth it.

Did it once, never doing it again, no even under gunpoint. I got this after the amazing Thane scene. Given that I cried during that scene, you can pretty much guess how amazingly out of place that scene was. I would suggest who ever was drunk enought to design this try it for himself, better yet try it irl. I can only put this on liquor, because I have no idea how anyone in their right mind could thing 13 minutes of pushing buttons is a compelling gameplay experience.

It's not supposed to be. It's like one of these JRPG things where if you grind your ass off, you get a nice scene.

As for me, I was exhausted at the end, man, do you know what it is to click the same two buttons for 10 minutes? I must have lost a total of 2 calories.

Really good point! Suck it indoctrination theorists! No indoctrinated individual would do something so utterly pointless and based on pride, besides too much of the dlc is random stuff done with Shepard and his friends that there is not way indoctrination caused him to hallucinate it all
