My Shepadept is using the Acolyte. Problem number one: couldn't break through glass windows. No powers, and acolyte projectice bounced off. Aggo'd guards in the attempt to fling powers at them. Cerbs wouldn't shoot back (because windows), couldn' direct squad to shoot guards (because windows). Eventually (...e..v...entu..al..ly) the windows broke anyway - though whether it is script I don't know.
So I put on a Hurricane soon as I could, just in case.
...problem number two: pistol used to defeat Eva Core. Not only does it continue to use the Acolyte (because that's the pistol equipped) it DOESN'T EVEN FIRE, merely charging. I am thus doomed to fail at this literally impossible point - the only possible solution for which is to start the mission from scratch with a different loadout.
...how was this missed...?
Um... so Mars doesn't support added weapons

It's been noted before and I doubt anything will be done at this point. You could always use a save editor to change your weapon.
Edit: Protip- you can sprint up to the glass and grab the cerberus guys from cover to break the glass

As mentioned by jimcamx, this problem has been noted before.
For the first problem, the Acolyte fires a projectile that cannot break glass. Off the top of my head, Mars features the only mission where you have to break glass. As jimcamx said, you can cover-grab one of the Troopers to break the glass. Liara's Singularity will break the glass.
For the second problem, most or all non-Predator pistols will cause problems with Dr. Eva. As long as you have the Predator equipped or no pistol equipped you will be fine. You may have to restart the mission or from a previous save within the mission. If you have a save at the workbench that might be good. If you have a save before the end just before picking up the Vindicator, that would be better. Otherwise you will have to start the entire mission again.
