[Grimwald the Wise]

I have installed BG2 before and now need a fresh install. However, when I insert the disc, I only get the option to play and not to install.

I had this problem with Windows XP.

I got round the problem there by going to add/remove programs.

Then all I had to do was navigate to the disc.

I don't seem to have that option with Windows 7 unless I am thick.

I possibly am.

Can anyone help?

And how about shut autorun, open disk in Explorer and run setup.exe?

edit: and yes, there is no option to add a program via control panel>add/remove program in windows 7. Only uninstall/change. So, there are two options here: autorun (not work in our case) or manual install by setup/install.exe

I wonder why Windows didn't have the add program option?

It couldn't have been that difficult to have kept it.
