I think they did well, except that Jack and Miranda deserved a farewell with a sex scene and still have less than other romances like Liara, Garrus, Kaidan, Tali ...

I thought Tali's scene was really touching. I liked it. I haven't gotten to the party itself, yet, though I've heard a lot about it.

I was aiming for a more quiet party in my canon run, but I hear she gets more "pounding hangover" drunk in Quiet than Energetic... I wonder how to avoid that...

I'm happy with the quality of the content, and the singing was perfectly in character. There's a reason her line in london is wanting more time, she gets short straw in quantity of LI content.

Yes. My LI is Liara and I thought her scenes were very good and romantic. I love how Liara is quite flirty in this DLC. It starts right from the beginning, when you go undercover and continues at the party. I loved it.

Having tried both versions I'd suggest going the energetic route first. I thought that route was more fun, as it seems to trigger more humorous dialogue and scenes.

So everyone got flirty lines? Awesome! Good thing they didn't forget anyone.

I especially liked their conversation right at the beginning of the party when having a toast:

Shepard: "To the Normandy!"
Liara: "And to falling in love with the ship's captain."

I enjoyed the Liara scene, but of the scenes I've seen and played, though, IMO Jack got the best treatment as far as romance goes in the DLC. Although, I may think so be because she's my second favourite character and LI of the series.

My paragon Shepard romanced Tali, and the scene with her was just a bit too corny. I'm not sure I'm buying this new concept of Quarian sleep-overs.

My renegade Shepard's meet up with Miranda was actually quite touching. Very well done, I was impressed and satisfied. A great pay off, that I didn't expect at all.

The meetup you can have with Samara (I looked it up on Ye Olde Youtube) was also very well done.

I have to agree with you on Jack, and I don't have any playthroughs where she is Shepard's LI. Overall I think she got the best treatment in the DLC.

Hell yeah, Garrus and FemShep; Kaidan and FemShep... The only one I was a bit disappointed with so far but I guess doesn't really count as hes not a proper LI would be James... I just wish there was a bit more of a satisfying conclusion to the amazing build up. It felt like you forced him into it and he regrets it ever happening... Damn. FemShep makes the best accessory, thanks Brooks I will never kill you now just cause you set them up on a sort of but not quite to quote James "Hot date".

Oh, the LI will hang out there after all is said and done?

Sigh. Now I feel that much worse about Kelly.

Yes! I loved Liara's romance scene. Quiet and romantic. The undercover part and the romance content during the party ("And to falling in love with the ship's captain", waking up next to Liara after the party) are also excellent.

Really? I think sleepovers make sense considering how cramped everyone is. It's not like her parents had to drive her across town.

Tali's was a bit silly, while Liara's was too short? Liara's friendship scene was better than the LI scene in my opinion. Ashley was just completely shafted in this DLC.

I think the ME2 romances got the most content. But it's fair that it worked out that way.

No, the crazy singing of Tali destroyed the whole scene in the English version. I have to switch to German language to bear the scene.

If you look at the most viewed youtube video with this scene and the ratio of 1:3 thumps up vs down, while it is normally >100:1 in case of Tali scenes, it is obviously that there is something wrong here

I thought it was pretty in character for her, but at the same time much better things could have been done with the resources.
