I have done soldier thus far, and he was kinda a pushover an inanity. Probably cuz clone Shepard totally was doing it wrong. I mean, carnage, frag grenade spam, and a Valkyrie? I mean come on dude, your build sucks.

You have to figure, soldier only has ammo types and a slow time ability and sentinel only really has a super shield. Those are probably the 2 classes that would be easiest. Something like an engineer or a vanguard that have direct and powerful class powers will be much harder.
It also comes down to difficulty setting. The people saying they had lots of trouble were probably on insanity or hardcore. If you was on normal, it would be a lot easier.

Can't argue with that. At least my Infil could hack those stupid drones and send them back. My Adept had to keep shooting them and kept runnning out ofJinx1720 wrote...

I defeated clone shep both as engineer and infiltrator and found it relatively easy (insanity difficulty). I used the Kishock with my infiltrator and spammed overload and tech explosions with my engineer, apart from that I tried to stay in cover as much as possible. Not really that difficult...
edit: what I found insanely diffiult with my infiltrator and also my engineer was the beginning of the DLC where you are limited to the silenced pistol. That's where I died a LOT.

I did Vanguard clone battle on Insanity and it was fun. It got annoying when the clone spammed Nova, but I was spamming Biotic Charge, Nova, and my Wraith on everything (when the clone used his last Medi-Gel, I focused on Brooks and beat the sh*t out of her) so I guess I might've deserved that.
I started a new trilogy playthrough with a Sentinel and I haven't heard anything about the Sentinel clone battle. How is it?

Engineer was a joke. Defense Drone, really? The worst power in the game, and you call yourself my clone?

I am about to complete my engineering play of the dlc, does he really use DD? I assume he spams incinerate or is that the infiltrator only?

Incinerate and DD were all I noticed. And of course the DD is useless because the clone stays at range. Hell, you can bounce chain overloads off it to stun him (her in my case) out of cover.
I think she may have used Defense Matrix too - or maybe she just copied the glittery effect from mine.
I was hoping for Decoy, or Sentry Turret/Combat Drone to make things more interesting, but no - it was just pewpew back and forth across the shuttle bay, and she would run out to revive Brooks occasionally between Incinerates.
