I haven't gotten to the party yet, but I understand it happens in three phases, with you setting the tone in each: Quiet, or Energetic.

I'm leaning more towards Quiet for my canon Shepard, at least at the start, but at the same time I'd prefer if Tali didn't end up so drunk that she's in a different room with a hangover afterwards (BTW, thanks to Han Shot First for the advice).

THE POINT BEING: Who did you romance, what tone did you set for each of the three phases of the party, and what were your favorite moments from all three?

 I did quiet, loud, louder and my LI was Tali. She was drunk but she was in bed with Shepard when they woke up. My favorite moments were Tali accidently poisioning herself with cheese trying to change edi and samanthas akward conversation and grunt as the bouncer who ending up drunk in the shower.

Liara is my LI and my party was "loud" right until the end. Fun. I loved Joker laughing at Shepard's dancing (I actually had tears rolling down my face from laughing so hard), EDI embarrassing Traynor by asking questions about why she finds her voice so attractive, Wrex, Javik and Zaeed shooting bottles... and many, many more. It was just filled with lots of fun and laughs.

I did quiet all the way through and enjoyed it. Going to do an energetic run. Does choosing playing cards make a difference? Or choosing drinks over snacks at the bar?

When you set everybody to dancing and Zaeed, Grunt and Wrex were shooting bottles off the bar.

Zaeed anything. Seriously, he skyrocketed in likeability in this DLC.

Also liked Miranda/Jack's scenes where they sorta kinda made up. When I supported friendship and Shep was like, "Seriously, at this point, you two should just make out already. I mean this is all just sexual tension, right??" I have expected to see the two of them making out with each other later. And was thoroughly disappointed when they weren't.

First time around with my Garrusmancer I did quiet first but then cause people didn't seem to enjoy it too much I made it louder and louder and it had some really good dialogue. Its really hard to pick out favorite parts as it was all so good I just cant.

Second time was with my James"mancer" I wouldn't call it a romance but 'eh. His content was really well done anyway but with a loud, loud,loud party he really lets go.. His dancing.. Just.. I just don't... Well if he moves like that on the dancefloor.... Hehe.

[Han Shot First]

I thought a loud party from start to finish had funnier scenes. My faves from the loud party:

Drunk Grunt playing doorman and keeping all the attempted gatecrashers out, including a Vorcha partyboy. Shepard telling Grunt to keep up the good work when he refuses entry to the shrieking Shepard fangirls was hilarious as well.

Drunk Grunt later passing out in the shower.

Zaeed trying to bang Samara and failing.

EDI revealing all the sexual acts Traynor said she wanted to do with EDI, while Tali keeps trying to change the subject by talking about how great the cheese in. Tali then giving herself an allergic reaction because the cheese wasn't dextro was hilarious as well.

Javik (and Shepard and Zaeed) egging on Grunt and Wrex into a headbutting contest.

Vega saying that physical conditioning is more valuable than biotic ability, until drunk Liara uses her biotics to levitate him.

Hungover Tali saying "I...am...going...to...die!" in the aftermath, and telling Shepard that she now has a tattoo.

Hungover Javik waking up in the bathroom to say he had a nightmare that the primitives had evolved and now ruled the galaxy.

Traynor's embarrasment over having had sex with EDI.

I loved the Miranda/Jack banter. And when you support friendship, Shepard says she expected them to just "kiss and make up" eventually, since they're "two biotically charged women, confident in their sexuality with all that sexual tension..."

...just to have Kasumi pop up out of nowhere looking for a camera to record it all and sell it for credits and Jack threatening to break her the moment she decloaks again.

Zaeed has hilarious scenes in both versions now that I think about it.

I was expecting Shepard getting a biotic punsh from both of them. Then Jack and Miranda sharing some drinks.

Yeah I too ran both. Did quiet first (Paragon Playthrough)

did the Louder on (renegade) and MAN! GRUNT THE BOUNCER. Was awesome. Plus he's TANK'D in the shower having weird dreams and blue rock for liara LOOOL

also its nice to see Zaeed hitting on Samara

Shepard/Wrex/Grunt was loltastic, as well as Zaeed + Garrus putting explosives in every place imaginable. Also, Tali's omni-tattoo.

I haven't done a loud version yet. I'm going to do a few runthroughs of the party just so I can see everything.

I went loud for the whole thing. Loved it. Garrus apparently wanted to roll around with my female Shep on the sofa, naked. XD
